Riddle Sideways: hi Adams
Riddle Sideways: how are you this morning
Adams Rubble: Hello Riddle :)
Adams Rubble: I have been a busy beaver this morning
Adams Rubble: made a list last night and working down the list
Adams Rubble: how are you?
Riddle Sideways: ah
Riddle Sideways: will be making a list soon
Riddle Sideways: went out shopping yesterday without some things on the list
Riddle Sideways: agonizing about it all night
Adams Rubble: ohhh
Riddle Sideways: must create excuse to run out and get flowers for the birthday person
Adams Rubble: we are having a very sunshiny day here after a dark start
Riddle Sideways: getting brighter here
Riddle Sideways: still cold, not raining
Adams Rubble: cold there?
Riddle Sideways: for us, 50 is cold
Adams Rubble: ohhh, we are having a toasty 46 degrees :)
Adams Rubble: Depending how one is dressed
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: well, was guessing. the actual weather app says it is 44
Adams Rubble: I remember being cold on July 4th in CA
Adams Rubble: when one is dressed for summer
Adams Rubble: never ciold in NJ on July 4th unless one is in air conditioning
Riddle Sideways: yep, all the tourist go to the beach in July to be in the cold fog
Adams Rubble is trying to be mindful
Riddle Sideways: much talk over last few days of whether robots/AI can be mindful
Riddle Sideways: not sure what that means now
Adams Rubble having enough difficulty being mindful oneself :)
Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: is it Mind-Full-Ness
Adams Rubble: of course if I did the 9 seconds regularly, one would presume that would be less of an issue :)
Riddle Sideways: oh that hurt
Adams Rubble: how do you see the difference between mindfulness and Mind-Full_ness?
Riddle Sideways: was typo-ing full and got thinking
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: a full mind is hard to imagine
Adams Rubble: full mind and empty mind
Riddle Sideways: and probably not very peaceful
Adams Rubble: there are days when we feel full of life
Adams Rubble: somehow that seems like a full mind
Riddle Sideways: interesting, that an empty mind is easier to grasp
Riddle Sideways: well, imagine
Riddle Sideways: full of life could be any stage of mind fullness
Adams Rubble: yes, twould seem so
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: Mindful (getting the L out of there) could be much more full of life phrase
Riddle Sideways: your list might be helpful
Adams Rubble: hmmm. list does not include stopping
Adams Rubble: oh wait, there is a meditation on it
Riddle Sideways: good
Adams Rubble: did not get down that far yet
Riddle Sideways: adding to new list here "listen to other"
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: first item on list is pet old cat that is the way of keyboard
Adams Rubble: sometimes it means listening through senseless chatter to hear what is underneath
Adams Rubble: hello old cat
Adams Rubble: present company excuded from senseless chatter comment :)
Riddle Sideways: not so quick on that
Adams Rubble thinking of an annoying facebook comment this morning
Riddle Sideways: mindless chatter is almost certainly why flowers were not gotten yesterday
Adams Rubble: ohhh
Riddle Sideways: /listens for annoying FB comment
Adams Rubble: just some contradictory political stuff about Obama
Riddle Sideways: oh, heard some of that on NPR
Adams Rubble: calling him a dictator taking away our freedoms but not keeping us safe
Adams Rubble: I expect that is not what you heard on NPR :)
Riddle Sideways: no, it wasn't
Riddle Sideways: seems he was showing off a plan yesterday
Riddle Sideways: that has taken weeks/months to formulate
Adams Rubble: ohh, I heard something about that
Riddle Sideways: and said if some were going to "pop-off"
Riddle Sideways: about their plan was better then the joint chief of staffs
Riddle Sideways: they should come forward and meet with them
Riddle Sideways: [implying, don't snark without alternate plan]
Adams Rubble: there are many whose profession it is to snark without an alternative plan. They call them congressmen :)
Riddle Sideways: yes, a gaggle of them
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: or called Commentators
Riddle Sideways: sorry, that was not mindfulness of the bell time
Adams Rubble: I think it is written in to the constitution
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: yes those too
Adams Rubble: the bell is tricky when does not have sound on
Adams Rubble: and one types looking at the keyboard
Riddle Sideways: in the small print: "you shall assemble 100 people that can not agree and work out agreements
Adams Rubble: it is sort of an oxymoron that are differences are so small in this country and yet we are so polarized
Adams Rubble: so many working so hard to keep us polarized
Riddle Sideways: hard work
Riddle Sideways: then there is the "this country needs to do ... about ..."
Riddle Sideways: but not in my community
Riddle Sideways: son got one of the great lessons years back
Adams Rubble: fortunately we have mindfulness to get us through :)
Adams Rubble: and love and compassion
Riddle Sideways: at the Arizona/mexico border
Riddle Sideways: they visited group after group on both sides of border
Riddle Sideways: each group spoke to them
Riddle Sideways: saying "It is very simple ..."
Riddle Sideways: "All they have to do is ..."
Riddle Sideways: then the next group would say "It is very simple ..."
Adams Rubble: Life is like a beanstalk, isn't it?
Riddle Sideways: all those 'simples' were different
Adams Rubble nods
Riddle Sideways: hmmmm, from little seeds comes giant
Adams Rubble: well it is getting near the hour and time to let all good avatars return to the real world :)
Riddle Sideways: oh dear
Riddle Sideways: :)
Adams Rubble: I hope you have a good day and get the flowers in time
Riddle Sideways: yes, thanks
Adams Rubble: Thank you for the chat :)
Adams Rubble: bye for now :)
Riddle Sideways: have yor best day getting the list done
Adams Rubble: :)
