Eden and Eliza sharing healing thoughts
Sounds like a fairy tale
Eliza Madrigal: 's current display-name is "Eliza".
Eden Haiku: Good morning dear Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: Morning (((Eden)))) So glad to see you
Eliza Madrigal: Sorry to miss your returning week
Eden Haiku: Missed you. Thanks for filling in for me for so long Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: (trying to find an animation that feels as though I am looking at you)
Eliza Madrigal: Missed you too, all your sparkle
Eliza Madrigal: :) cute boots!
Eden Haiku: Hummm... had a nice skirt too but it looks nude, so I put capri jeans underneath…
Eliza Madrigal: have to get virtual abilities back I guess
Eliza Madrigal: I see a skirtish type cape
Eden Haiku: Guess so :)))
Eden Haiku: How are you with all the Holiday celebrations ahead?
Eliza Madrigal: well, we picked up a $10 tree yesterday...
Eden Haiku: Wow! How did you manage that?
Eliza Madrigal: and sort of threw on some lights and each (kids and I) favorite ornaments
Eliza Madrigal: Very late to be buying a tree :)
Eden Haiku: Ah...
Eliza Madrigal: arrived after the party was over.... just a few shrubs standing
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: How have you managed, since returning?
Eden Haiku: Nice :))) And the graduating girl too?
Eliza Madrigal: YES, that's been our big year end event
Eden Haiku: Wonderful!
Eliza Madrigal: very proud of her, and of us a bit too, thanks
Eden Haiku: I have been ok. Tired....
Eliza Madrigal: tired?
Eden Haiku: Rented a car and went to see my godmother up the hills
Eliza Madrigal: sounds like a fairy tale
Eliza Madrigal grins
Eden Haiku: And it started snowing as I was heading back....
Eliza Madrigal: oooh
Eden Haiku: She's like a fairy godmother yes. She looks so much like my Mom.....She says the same about me.
Eliza Madrigal: precious
Eden Haiku: Some older man who saw us together called us: the two little sisters :)
Eliza Madrigal: ^.^ because of looks, or celebration together?
Eden Haiku: Watched "Sound of Music" again yesterday on TV
--BELL--
Eden Haiku: Yes, we look alike. She's much older but she still looks young,.
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: She's a kind of Maria....used to be a nun, then married,
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, I see
Eliza Madrigal: do you feel like you contact your mom when you see her, too?
Eden Haiku: Her new apartment is like a doll house. Tiny porcelains, blue satin pillows...
Eden Haiku: She even dresses in oranges and pinks as I do :)
Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eden Haiku: I was lucky the snowstorm was finished as soon as I got down the mountains...
Eliza Madrigal: sounds beautiful to me
Healing imagery
Eden Haiku: How have you been Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: Okay :)
Eliza Madrigal: I'm dealing with a few health things....
Eliza Madrigal: but otherwise things are goo
Eliza Madrigal: d
Eden Haiku: Oh, sad to hear...
Eliza Madrigal: Well, I learned this week that a migraine may not be painful
Eden Haiku: oh?
Eliza Madrigal: that the cloudy headedness I have been dealing with, may be a migraine before it comes on completely
Eliza Madrigal: so they are going to treat it that way
Eliza Madrigal: but I'm pretty tired of health things :)
Eden Haiku: oh, that sounds good...
Eden Haiku: Yes, I imagine you would be...
Eden Haiku: Should have brought you miraculous water from Lourdes :)
Eliza Madrigal: you are :)
Eliza Madrigal: so I'll just sit here and drink you up, lol
Eden Haiku: :)
Eden Haiku: You know, Lourdes is a downward spiral of energy. A natural healing vortex.
Eden Haiku: You can connect to the place from your heart and it will bring back well-being and health!
Eliza Madrigal: how do you do that, when you connect with your heart?
Eliza Madrigal: imagery? feeling?
Eden Haiku: Imagery yes, feeling too.
Eden Haiku: Check from Google Earth first maybe to find location :)
Eliza Madrigal: techie meditations
Eden Haiku: In the Pyreneans mountains. Techie meditations yes...
Eliza Madrigal: Were your events smooth, after the upheaval in Paris?
Eliza Madrigal: I imagined the way you might incorporate the feelings of the place into your readings
Eliza Madrigal: but maybe that would be hard
Eden Haiku: I did. In fact, the poem I was reading suddenly meant a lot more...Wrote it 3 years ago and now, it made sense!
Eliza Madrigal: oh, wow
Eden Haiku: Also played the shamanic drum for a minute or so for the victims in the beginning.
Eliza Madrigal: ... like Joni Mitchel described, with Both Sides Now... said she couldn't have known what it meant when she wrote it so young
Eliza Madrigal: wonderful
Eden Haiku: yes, exactly.
Eden Haiku: Strange phenomenon.
Eliza Madrigal: as I age it seems more natural
Eliza Madrigal: linear timelines breaking down, at least as reasons for sensibilities
Eliza Madrigal: ie "because such n such happened, then I learned this.."
Eden Haiku: indeed
--BELL--
Trembling
Eden Haiku: Trembling from fright poet, you are? You are trembling, obviously/It's ok/We are all trembling when facing death/ it's ok ( my own bad translation of my poem "Violet night") Amazing how 3 years later, the words made much more sense!
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, thank you! I wanted to ask for the poem but wasn't sure if you would want to share it here
Eliza Madrigal: trembling... that captures a lot, wow
Eden Haiku: The whole thing would take too long for me to translate now, but it gives you a glimpse...
Eliza Madrigal: yes I feel it
Eliza Madrigal: makes me stop in tracks a bit
Eden Haiku: It was almost abstract when I wrote that in 2012. Then, in November 2015, in Paris, the words MEANT a lot for everyone in the room..,.
Eliza Madrigal: everyone was dealing directly with that fright in the moment
Eden Haiku: Fear was lurking at every corner...We forgot and then someone shouting in the subway. running on the street, anything unusual and the fear was there...
Eliza Madrigal: oh :(
Eden Haiku: Random fear is what it is now, all over the world. Daesch kalashnikovs can appear anywhere anytime...They call the so-called Islamic State Daesch in Europe. I prefer it to ISIS. I wish they would leave the goddess out of this!
Eliza Madrigal: Agreed!
Eliza Madrigal: That's bothered me for a while, but Obama tends to use ISIL so that's what I've adopted for the most part
Eden Haiku: A friend of mine, who is a scholar and a Middle-East specialist says it might be the beginning of World War 3. A very different war...
Eliza Madrigal: I noticed after 9-11 that anger came quickly upon fear, and people started pretending to be so sure of themselves- a kind of climate that tends toward war...
Eden Haiku: " I you listen to your beating heart/you will know this isn't Death/ this is life, poet, this is LIFE!" (next line of my poem :)

Opening our arms to the new cycle of light
Eliza Madrigal: that's very powerful, Eden
Eliza Madrigal: struggle for life? dignity of existence?
Eden Haiku: Hopefully, the light will overcome the darkness. We are at the solstice right now, aren't we? Just realized....
Eliza Madrigal: yes it is :)
Eden Haiku: All experiences, even the hardest ones, are life, aren't they?
Eliza Madrigal: hmm
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes the hardest ones feel disconnecting for a while, like one is thrown to the side as an observer
Eden Haiku: I remember my grandmother at my 15 year old cousin's funeral: "This is life, this is life"....
Eliza Madrigal: :(
Eden Haiku: Welcoming death as part of life...
Eden Haiku: She had lost a husband and a son when she was still a young woman...
Eden Haiku: Gloomy thoughts this morning, sorry Eliza. It's the end of the darkness cycle I guess:)
Eliza Madrigal: oh dear :( Difficult to hear stories like that.... like there should be a cap on what a person has to deal with
Eliza Madrigal: remember in church they'd say "God never gives you more than you can handle"
Eden Haiku: Let us open our arms to hug the new cycle of light. The new year!
Eliza Madrigal: I appreciate your thoughts Eden
Eliza Madrigal smiles
Eliza Madrigal: year of the monkey ahead
Eden Haiku: I have only about 5 or 6 items on my accomplishments list. Will go up to 100 before January 1st! Did you start writing yours?
Eliza Madrigal: haha...
Eliza Madrigal: I've been wrestling with myself, whether to get into that mode this year
Eliza Madrigal: I did keep a gratitude journal this year though... albeit missing some weeks here and there
Eden Haiku: Year of the monkey....Will have to look this one up.... Unfamiliar ape :)
Talking of the monkey…
Riddle sporting skates
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Riddle! donning skates
Riddle Sideways: sorry to be so late
Eliza Madrigal: tsk tsk
Riddle Sideways: fell back asleep
Riddle Sideways: bad
Eliza Madrigal: nice :)
Eliza Madrigal: dog won't allow that here
Eden Haiku: Hi Riddle! good to see you :)
Riddle Sideways: and most made coffee
Riddle Sideways: yes, found skates in inventory
Eden Haiku: Ready for the skating party on Thursday?
Eliza Madrigal: hopeful to make it, but I have to search for my skates too
Riddle Sideways: found rainbow skates also, but no AO with them
Eliza Madrigal: and cute clothes
Eliza Madrigal: oh, need the AO
Riddle Sideways: sorry, have no cute clothes
Eden Haiku: AO needed yes. You had a nice one Eliza...
Eden Haiku: Trick is to remember the name..
Eliza Madrigal: KH
Eliza Madrigal: although, these look enormous!
Eden Haiku: So you guys are starting a new session about Time and Knowledge?
Riddle Sideways: ooooooooooooo very nice
Eliza Madrigal: yes, we're going to give it a go
Eden Haiku: Skating underwater....
Riddle Sideways: careful the blades
Eliza Madrigal: I read Mick and others chatting about Ways of Knowing, and felt inspired
Eliza Madrigal: but have to find the right way with the material
Eliza Madrigal: it doesn't really work to go line by line
Eliza Madrigal: page by page
Eden Haiku: is wondering if she still has the book...
Eliza Madrigal: so gave myself a project for the next few weeks, to listen and see what makes sense
Eliza Madrigal: found it on kindle
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, maybe should get the kindle version
Eden Haiku: Amazing. I bet it didn't exist in Kindle when we first studied it...
Eliza Madrigal: it didn't
Eliza Madrigal: I was surprised to find it there
Eden Haiku: Archeological times...4 or 5years ago...
Eliza Madrigal giggles
--BELL--
Archeological times
Riddle Sideways: ooo those people used to use paper
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Wonder where we will be in 4 or 5 years from now?
Eden Haiku: In 2020....
Riddle Sideways: older?
Eliza Madrigal: can't imagine
Riddle Sideways: :)
Eden Haiku: Oh no ;(((((
Eden Haiku: I want to stay 20 forever !!!
Eliza Madrigal: heheh
Eliza Madrigal: I'm sure you will
Riddle Sideways: you are dear
Eliza Madrigal: (brb, apologies)
Eden Haiku: A question if you would allow me. About chat logs. How/where do you write the title so it's logged in the correct place?
Riddle Sideways: have to start the "new page" in the month page
Riddle Sideways: then cut the title date string given and paste it into the title textbox
Eden Haiku: Ah thanks Riddle!
Riddle Sideways: might not be saying that good enough
Eliza Madrigal: back. The new page should be saved on the page that shows the month, so '12' in this case... yes as Riddle describes
Eden Haiku: It took me one hour this morning just trying to attach a file
Eliza Madrigal: oh no
Eden Haiku: I am so obstinate sometimes :)
Eliza Madrigal: it is easy to forget if away from it a while
Eden Haiku: And rusted...
Riddle Sideways: attach? why attach
Eliza Madrigal: there are some guardians whose pages are still moved often
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Attaching a picture Riddle...It was upside down...
Riddle Sideways: ah
Eden Haiku: It was a matter of not using the flash uploader...
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes I go back and change a title 5 times, haha
Eliza Madrigal: can be a little obsessive
Eden Haiku: Yes, we are lucky to have smart log elves moving our pages to their correct shelves :)
Eliza Madrigal laughs
Riddle Sideways: thank you, Eliza. we can see your repeat edits
Eliza Madrigal is lucky to have something to do
Eliza Madrigal: :) Riddle, wish I could hide them but that isn't my karma
Eliza Madrigal: all my foolishness stays out in the open
Eden Haiku: Do you also witness yourself being obsessive and still unable to let it go?
Eliza Madrigal laughs
Eliza Madrigal: YES
Riddle Sideways: YES
Eden Haiku: What is WRONG with us????
Eden Haiku: Aren't we supposed to be kind of cool hippies?
Eliza Madrigal: I used to think it was a matter of a lesson to learn, but no matter how humble I become, I remain ridiculous
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: LOL
Riddle Sideways: there are so many matters that (I am reminded by others) should be taken seriously, detailed and obsessed, but can't do it
Eden Haiku: Good quote: "no matter how humble I become, I remain ridiculous".
Eliza Madrigal grins
Riddle Sideways: then there is little things (like the silverware drawer) that are obsessive
Eliza Madrigal pictures Riddle fidgeting with spoon stacks
Riddle Sideways: yes :)
Eden Haiku: Siilverware drawer obsessive is the worst case scenario...
Riddle Sideways: yes, the worst
Riddle Sideways: kids wearing jackets ... who cares
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: well, kids thwart all efforts to be dignified and orderly
Riddle Sideways: to spite you
Eliza Madrigal: exactly
--BELL-
-
Eden Haiku: Silverware drawer in the 24 square meters studio in Paris would have driven you crazy Riddle. There were at least 100 knifes and spoons and forks...Who give such a big party in such a small space?
Eliza Madrigal: party with an overflow!
Eden Haiku: hehe
Eliza Madrigal: chasing people down the street to retrieve forks back....
Eden Haiku: and now we are stomping upon the bell....Poor thing...
Eliza Madrigal: sorry :::hangs head::::
Riddle Sideways: bell is a serious thing to pay attention to and obey
Eden Haiku: Well, I guess we will soon have to return to our obsessive-compulsive disorders ....
Riddle Sideways: but can't manage it
Eliza Madrigal: hahah
Riddle Sideways: part-time
Eliza Madrigal: just a parent trying to keep order
Eliza Madrigal: keep us mindful
Eden Haiku: hehe... at least, we feel guilty....As if it was an accomplishment!!!
Eliza Madrigal laughs hard
Eliza Madrigal: Okay but yes, time to walk puppy
Riddle Sideways: back to Being the parent of puppy
Eden Haiku: is waving to Wol's crazy calculations...
Eliza Madrigal: thanks for this wide-ranging discussion time, and your excellent company
Eden Haiku: Say hello the the puppy Eliza :)
Riddle Sideways: thank you,
Riddle Sideways: bye
Eliza Madrigal: see you at the skating party I hope ((((( )))))
Riddle Sideways: hope to be there
Eden Haiku: Have to back to Christmas tree. See you both at the skating party!
