Korel Laloix: With Sama in my life I am becoming more aware of it I guess. And I see how it can be good for impressions... but still, RL dressing well costs.

Korel Laloix: I have used Sl to look at RL styles and hair before... lol.. not sure if that is smart or sad or both.

Korel Laloix: Sama has a rediculous amount of clothes.... lol.. but from years of modeling, she got keep the clothes most of the time.

Wol Euler: good generally, not so good at the moment as my father is seriously ill

Wol Euler: mom has been with him the last two days, they set up a cot for her in his room

Korel Laloix: For me when I have a lot of bad things pile up I end up getting sick on top of that.. frowns... so stay healthy.
Wol Euler: yes, that happens to me too, I'm trying to watch myself
Qt Core: and it seems it will be for not so happy reasons
Korel Laloix: Especially in a hospital.

Wol Euler: I booked the holiday months ago to go to Washington with my mother, for an opera
Wol Euler: but my father is seriously ill
Wol Euler: so ... I don't know what will happen
Qt Core: (maybe being too sugary) i hope that just you being there may help

Wol Euler: I'm not sure what to hope for, frankly
Korel Laloix: Lots of mixed feelings with elderly ill relatives.
Qt Core: yes... sigh

Wol Euler: we should all be so lucky as to die in our sleep, in our own beds, in relatively good health
Wol Euler: but few of us are that lucky
Qt Core: the issue is not really the illnes, is when the illness/age rob them of their mind/personality
Wol Euler: right

Korel Laloix: Last year I lost my mom and grandma, huge mixed emotion sets, but a relief in some ways... but makes me feel guilty to say it.

Korel Laloix: Difficult times for many friends this month for some reason.
Qt Core: as they say "shit happens" and the most people you know the most someone is experiencing some at each moment

Qt Core: so, how is life going i'm enjoying a three days weekend with a couple friends: cold and cough ;-)
Korel Laloix: Just finishsing up the first half of our honeymoon cruise... smiles

Korel Laloix: Had our church wedding last Saturday...
Korel Laloix: So pulling back into port in a couple of hours then back on board to depart this evening again...
Korel Laloix: Lovely time.
Korel Laloix: Expensive but great for a once in a life time occasion I think.

Qt Core: yes, i've been on a cruise twice and even without the honeymoon part both were some of the best time i had ever
Korel Laloix: Great food, and meeting lots of fun people and contacts.
Korel Laloix: Great booze as well.. smiles
Korel Laloix: Oh, and we got third place in the big dance contest... lol

Qt Core: when there is no need to drive i found many like booze ;-)
Korel Laloix: Well, we had a dance worked up for the wedding reception, so we just did the same thing... smiles
Korel Laloix: Our room came with a stocked bar, and then there is room services.

Qt Core: being almost a non-drinker i found very fun all the groans i heard when the ship i was entered the port of a muslim country and was announced that untill the ship would exit it all the alchoolic drink would be shut and locked away ;-)

Korel Laloix: No issues on this cruise, just around the Caribbean.
Korel Laloix: I think a couple of tipsy lesbians would not have been welcome there... lol
Qt Core: you may even find an excursion to a Havn't had enough to allow that distillery around there
Korel Laloix: As bizarre as things for us are here, I am thankful not to live someplace like that.
Korel Laloix: We did do a rum tasting at one of the ports..... I came to the conclusion that I do not like it... ick.. lol
Qt Core: well there are a lot of other alcohol sources ;-)
Korel Laloix: OH I noticed... we decided to stay away from our standard while on this trip, so no tequila or vodka for two weeks...
Qt Core: that is a good idea to make it a truly unique experience (and discovering new things)
Korel Laloix: And finding new and interesting headaches...
Qt Core: (how i fought with some friends that when avcroad wanted to eat only pasta and pizza.... and they even were disappointed about how it wasn't good as here in italy)

Korel Laloix: Actaullty, I have been good, not overdone it yet... smiles
Korel Laloix: That does seem a bit silly... but I so love both, at least without cheese.
