The Guardians for this meeting were Eliza and Mick.
plg72 Resident: Yes I did know Eiko before. She is a teacher of mine. Yes, it is PLG.
Eliza Madrigal: yes, thank you for fixing me
Agatha Macbeth throws a cushion at Liz
Eliza Madrigal laughs....
Eliza Madrigal: it has been quite a day, be forgiving please :))
plg72 Resident: Of course.
Eliza Madrigal: ^.^
Agatha Macbeth: I forgive you always, natch
Eliza Madrigal: would you like to ask anything about SL plg?
Eliza Madrigal: we have a few minutes before more arrive
Agatha Macbeth: You're new to SL?
Riddle Sideways: is Piet in RL still advertizing PaB?
plg72 Resident: Yes, quite new - how did you get started in SL?
(so sorry to miss this question I even asked for!)
plg72 Resident: He is still quite interested in it.
Agatha Macbeth: Wow
Agatha Macbeth: Shame we don't have Wol (our ex-mentor) here :(
Eliza Madrigal: yes it is Aggers
Eliza Madrigal: I think Bleu may be out of town right now also
Agatha Macbeth: Hope she's OK
Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Agatha Macbeth whistles Lady in red
Finding AOs
Eliza Madrigal: Agatha do you know where to find nice AOs
Eliza Madrigal: not expensive...
Agatha Macbeth: Not for guys no :P
Riddle Sideways: and Bruce has bad connections
Agatha Macbeth: The marketplace is probably the best bet
Eliza Madrigal: :) yes wll miss Bruce also... but Eden promised us a nice report today
Riddle Sideways: there are no good AOs for white males
Eliza Madrigal: I've seen a few but at first all of them feel unnatural
plg72 Resident: ah well. It's not a big problem.
Agatha Macbeth: OK, go to https://marketplace.secondlife.com
Agatha Macbeth: And under KEYWORDS
Agatha Macbeth: Type Male AO
Agatha Macbeth: Or somesuch
Eliza Madrigal: I didn't quite feel great in the spaces until I could move well
Agatha Macbeth: If you select 'low to high' on the right
Agatha Macbeth: You should find some inexpensive ones
plg72 Resident: I see some. Thank you.
Agatha Macbeth: They usually make you look like a gangsta or something, but then LL thinks all males in SL must be under 20 for some reason...
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Eden!
Eliza Madrigal: so pretty in pink
Agatha Macbeth: Go figure :p
plg72 Resident: haha
Agatha Macbeth: YW
Riddle Sideways: hi eden
--BELL--
Agatha Macbeth: And hello Edie :))
Eden Haiku: Hello everyone :)
Agatha Macbeth: Oh pink? I see her in white
Eden Haiku: It,s the glow I suppose?
Eliza Madrigal: it is a soft pink... or maybe my lighting?
Eliza Madrigal smiles
Eliza Madrigal: yes you glow
Eden Haiku: hehe
Agatha Macbeth: Oh wow, Makemake has a moon...
Eliza Madrigal: plg, we've been exploring the Time Space Knowledge book since the beginning of the year
Eliza Madrigal: https://wiki.playasbeing.org/Classes_and_Sessions/Time%2c_Space%2c_and_Knowledge
Agatha Macbeth: (Alledgedly)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Tura :))
Agatha Macbeth: http://phys.org/news/2016-04-hubble-...rf-planet.html
plg72 Resident: I'll take a look at it now
Agatha Macbeth: Oh, sorry Liz
Eden Haiku: Hello Tura :)
Agatha Macbeth: Hi Tura
Eliza Madrigal: no worries at all....the moon is a fine interruption, hah
Eden Haiku: And plg72:)
Eliza Madrigal: I just wanted to give links so that the session isn't too confusing
Tura Brezoianu: hi all
Eliza Madrigal: https://wiki.playasbeing.org/Classes_and_Sessions/Time%2c_Space%2c_and_Knowledge/Time%2c_Space%2c_and_Knowledge_-_Part_2_%5bTIME%5d/2016.04.28_-_The_Path_from_Ordinary_to_Great_Time%2c_Part_2
Meeting Patrick (plg72) :)
Agatha Macbeth: Dwarf planets with moons, what's the universe coming to?
plg72 Resident: hello.
Eliza Madrigal: plg, would you like to introduce yourself now?
Riddle Sideways: what! Eliza confusing?
Eliza Madrigal puts you on the spot
Agatha Macbeth: Yes please do
Agatha Macbeth shuts up
Eliza Madrigal: :) Riddle
plg72 Resident: yes, thank you.
plg72 Resident: I'm happy to be here.
Eden Haiku: You are welcome :)
plg72 Resident: I'm a student of Eiko's - a sociology student at The New School.
plg72 Resident: Is there anything in particular you would like to know about me?
Eliza Madrigal: what are you most interested in?
Agatha Macbeth: The new school?
Eliza Madrigal: basically anything that comes up to share with us
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Agatha Macbeth: Yay Micko :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Mick :) plg is introducing himself to us
Eden Haiku: Hello Mick :)
plg72 Resident: Good question - in all honesty I am most interested in spiritual and religious experiences.
Mickorod Renard: Hi Folks
Riddle Sideways: s hi mick
Mickorod Renard: hi Pig
plg72 Resident: What they are like for people, how different they are, etc.
plg72 Resident: hello Mick.
Agatha Macbeth facepalms
Eliza Madrigal: me too plg!
Mickorod Renard: and me
Agatha Macbeth: I think you may need a new handle Plg :P
plg72 Resident: I can get one :)
Agatha Macbeth falls over laughing
Eliza Madrigal: we'll learn, we're good at that
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Agatha Macbeth: Some of are...
Eliza Madrigal: have you alwys been interested in spirituality?
plg72 Resident: :) for some time, yes, but not always. My background is not particularly religious, but I have gotten interested in that in the past 10 years or more.
Agatha Macbeth smiles
Eliza Madrigal: lovely, we're a really diverse group, so that makes discussions fun
plg72 Resident: I am looking forward to learning from and about you all as well.
Riddle Sideways: oh dear!
Reports!
Eliza Madrigal: So shall we begin reports? :) Eden..we've been looking forward...
Eden Haiku: Ah! The cliffhnager... yes...
Eden Haiku: Ok, I will open the circle then :)
Eliza Madrigal: wonderful, ty
Eden
Eden Haiku: TSK Musing around exercise 18 B: Having a Great Time
Agatha Macbeth: As long as you don't square it...
Agatha Macbeth shuts up
Eden Haiku: -Rewinding to the moment I encounter a 2 year old on the sidewalk.
Eden Haiku: Agathita :)
Agatha Macbeth: Sorry cherie
Eden Haiku: I'm listening to the novel ‘City on Fire’ on Audible: it takes place in New York circa 1977.
Eden Haiku: It's were my thoughts are on the space-time continuum when the diminutive toddler says something to me
Eden Haiku: I take the earplugs off and crouch to her level to listen to what she's saying.
Eden Haiku: -I recognize the sound ‘soi’
Eden Haiku: ‘Soie’? Does she mean the texture of grass? ( ‘soie’ means silk)
Eden Haiku: I saw her caressing the grass along the sidewalk as if she was petting an animal.
Eden Haiku: -It made me smile.
Eden Haiku: Which probably prompted her to walk toward me, wobbly on her little legs.
Eden Haiku: Her mom is just a few steps ahead, looking at us.
Eden Haiku: -I ask the baby what she is saying. She utters: "soi".
Eden Haiku: I repeat after her, not even sure she is speaking French.
Eden Haiku: Her mom provides a clue ‘balançoire’?
Eden Haiku: The swing? Oh, tiny creature is telling me about her adventures on the swing?
Eden Haiku: We part good friends and I keep walking, hearing the syllable tracing new neural pathways in my brain: ‘soi’ without the silent 'e' means the self. The sanskrit mantra ‘Soham’, " Am that I Am". The "atman": the essence.
Eden Haiku: - Later, at the drum circle, I experience very clearly the transition from ordinary reality to non-ordinary reality. Transition from ordinary time to Great Time?
Eden Haiku: Like in one of the diagrams of chapter 7?
Eden Haiku: As we merge with the spirit of Falcon in order to dance it, I feel self-conscious, gesturing with my rattle, dancing around the flame of a candle, chanting whatever sound comes up, along with a dozen fellow students of essential shamanism.
Eden Haiku: But I keep going, noticing my critical mind kicking in, surprised at its fierceness.
Eden Haiku: But then I see a leather chair like a throne glimmering in the shadows and I'm drawn to it, and I sit on it, still chanting and rattling.
Eden Haiku: -I'm gone, all self-consciousness wiped out.
Eden Haiku: - It's not me anymore.
Eden Haiku: It's a giant falcon.
Eden Haiku: It's Horus, the Egyptian sacred falcon.
Eden Haiku: The Healer.
Eden Haiku: Done.
Mickorod Renard: wonderful..and so rich and earthy
Eliza Madrigal: beautiful, Eden
Eden Haiku: Thank you Mick, Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: your pacing takes me right into the experience... one opening to another to openness
plg72 Resident: thank you.
Eden Haiku: Thanks Patrick :)
Mickorod Renard: yes, I was there with you,,stroking grass and so forth
Eliza Madrigal: (during these sessions we are not as good about the bell, since we have just a little time together for the reports)
Eliza Madrigal: so vivid, lovely... you are approachable :)
Agatha Macbeth: Wow Edie
Eden Haiku: Sorry I was so long, after a lot of editing, it was still too long :(
Agatha Macbeth: You never cease to amaze me
Eliza Madrigal: not at all
Eliza Madrigal: :) ty
Agatha Macbeth: It is as long as it needs to be :)
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Bowing to Agatha:)
Mickorod Renard: I would have happily listened for the hour
Agatha Macbeth: Merci
Eliza Madrigal: yes!
Agatha Macbeth: I could listen to Edie all night
Eden Haiku: Don't tempt me Mick :)
Eliza Madrigal giggles
Eliza Madrigal: would someone like to share next?
Mickorod Renard: he he
Eden Haiku: Riddle, we didn't hear from you for a while?
Eliza Madrigal: true
Riddle Sideways: what?
Riddle Sideways: oh, present
Eliza Madrigal: :P
Riddle Sideways: off the phone and caught up with reading
Agatha Macbeth: It's a gift, that's why it's called the present
Riddle Sideways: yep, got a report
Eden Haiku: Would be curious to hear your report Riddle? Or about your reading?
Mickorod Renard: I am very sad to admit to being so occupied by family issues at the mo..I have nothing to offer
Eden Haiku: **********Applause!!**********
Eden Haiku: **********Applause!!**********
Agatha Macbeth: We all need our family Mick, NW
Mickorod Renard: riddle riddle riddle
Riddle Sideways: one aside, first
Eden Haiku: patting Riddle's head :)
Riddle Aside
Riddle Sideways: speaking of an observance ...
Riddle Sideways: there is currently a repeating occurance
Riddle Sideways: that happens when the deepest of thoughts conflicts with everyday life
Riddle Sideways: many many times everyday life has tried to push an important thing out
Riddle Sideways: everyday life rudely interrupts, pleads, rangles, cagoles, steals attention away
Riddle Sideways: good thing that deep thoughts are patient
Riddle Sideways: .
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Mickorod Renard: :)
Riddle
Riddle Sideways: ex. 18a quiet personal = about equal amounts future and past often bouncing between the two
Agatha Macbeth: Still thoughts run deep
Riddle Sideways: e.g.
Riddle Sideways: moment 1: of this entire basket of raspberries, picking the ones that must be eaten now from the ones that can last to some future snack
Riddle Sideways: moment 2: popping this raspberry into mouth, triggers the same taste and transports time to a 6 year old picking a raspberry off the bush
Eden Haiku: lovely
Riddle Sideways: and popping it into the same mouth, the same taste, the same moment, the same time
Riddle Sideways: ex. 18b out and about
Riddle Sideways: in conversations = mostly past. retelling stories and relating past experiences to their stories
Riddle Sideways: BTW - last few weeks this house has had a lot of stories from NPR podcasts: the MOTH, snap judgement, Radio Lab
Riddle Sideways: in making decisions = about 2/3 future with an amount of reviewing past decisions, events, experiences, etc.
Riddle Sideways: e.g. planning how many tables and in what arrangement can 16 people eat together involes past arrangements
Riddle Sideways: ex. 19 each moment
Riddle Sideways: editing the metadata tags of every present moment
Riddle Sideways: "This moment, right now, is thinking about monkeys and is marked as past"
Riddle Sideways: applying one of 3 (future, past, present) values to the metatags of each moment.
Riddle Sideways: This exercise:
Riddle Sideways: 1. ruined sitting quietly :) the constant busy-ness of noticing and updating legers
Riddle Sideways: 2. tallied many more "presently thinking about thinking about the thinking about which PPF tag this moment should get"
Riddle Sideways: Ch. 7 timing drawings
Riddle Sideways: That higher-level timing drawing was almost always becoming a Project Planning Timeline
Riddle Sideways: with milestones along the timeline
Riddle Sideways: with workunits added and taken by agents
Riddle Sideways: take one down and pass it around then put the empty back :)
Riddle Sideways: It also often became a time chart of us'all doing the TSK studies
Riddle Sideways: Eliza did a great wordy explaination of it
Riddle Sideways: "This week we are lingering with the Chapter 8 exercises, with some moving into to Chapter 9. Our reading is Chapter 7."
Riddle Sideways: "That may sound a little confusing, but is just a wide field to explore various aspects, together."
Eden Haiku: :)
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Riddle Sideways: ah, report page stops
Riddle Sideways: knew there was more to say
Eden Haiku: Wow Riddle!
Riddle Sideways: but, not written
Riddle Sideways: =done
Eliza Madrigal: ::claps:::
Agatha Macbeth grins
Eden Haiku: So keenly observed Riddle :)
Eliza Madrigal: relate to so much of what you are saying, indeed
Mickorod Renard: lovely Riddle, thankyou..sort of put me back in the timeline
Agatha Macbeth: He's a keen observer
Eden Haiku: And yes, I also got the feeling one can burn out with TSK studies :) It ruins "quiet sitting"
Agatha Macbeth: Or burn in
Eliza Madrigal nods....quite a challenge sometimes to participate "lightly"
Eden Haiku: A marvelous report Riddle, thanks!
Riddle Sideways: oh, on the reading and re-reading on an elipical exercise machine
Agatha Macbeth throws Rid a blueberry
Eden Haiku: Throws him a raspberry :)
Riddle Sideways: the Kindle highlighters don't work right
Agatha Macbeth: Both work
Riddle Sideways: when the arm levers hit you
Eliza Madrigal grins
Eden Haiku: Picturing Riddle riding the elleptical machine with Kindle TSK balancing...
Eliza Madrigal: love it...thank you for efforts to squeeze TSK into time, lol
Agatha Macbeth: And space
Eliza Madrigal: :)) and movement
Agatha Macbeth: Indeed
Riddle Sideways: hope Knowledge comes in
Agatha Macbeth: Comes in somewhere
Eliza Madrigal: glimpse knowledge IN your report :)
Mick
Mickorod Renard: I must admit to a feeling of despair when the book suggests you go back to earlier chapters
Eden Haiku: And between 16 people sitting at a table :)
Agatha Macbeth: Aww Mick
Eliza Madrigal: Mick it is okay to give a report about those feelings too
Riddle Sideways: is that the start of a Mick report?
Eden Haiku: It does Mick? Not there yet but already despaired :)
Agatha Macbeth: Just picture a French woman guiding you through them :p
Mickorod Renard: I have only a story of madness and a house full of crazy kids
Agatha Macbeth: Works for me
Riddle Sideways: lovely
Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: lucky kids
Eden Haiku: We love your crazy kids:)
Agatha Macbeth: Lucky Mick
Mickorod Renard: but I am practicing a sort of detachment
Agatha Macbeth: 9 seconds?
Mickorod Renard: yes, but for longer
Agatha Macbeth: Hm...
Eden Haiku: is interested in the 'story of madness'
Agatha Macbeth: Lot of chapters in that
Eden Haiku: :)
Riddle Sideways: does it start with "Once upon a Great Time"
Eden Haiku: LOL
Agatha Macbeth: Or at the top of a rabbit hole?
Eden Haiku: A new kind of fairy tale :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) ah what a great idea...write the story of stories from a greater time perspective
Agatha Macbeth ponders the story of stories
Eliza Madrigal: but no worries Mick, if you wish to give a report just signal :)
Riddle Sideways: and read it aloud at bed Time
Mickorod Renard: well, for some reason i now would have to read that several time Eliza
Agatha Macbeth: Yeh or get Morg to do it for you
Eliza Madrigal: Tura, how is your week? reading/exercises?
Mickorod Renard: She is away next week..no help there
Agatha Macbeth: Ah
Tura
Tura Brezoianu: I haven't done much, beyond now and then remember ing to do one of the exercises
Tura Brezoianu: not enough to have had any interesting experiences
Eliza Madrigal: still paying attention to pings?
Agatha Macbeth: That's the trick
Tura Brezoianu: yes, I do a few pings every day
Agatha Macbeth does pongs too
Tura Brezoianu: and ask "is that how I wanted to spend that 15 minutes?"
Eliza Madrigal: potent question
Eliza Madrigal: kind of looking forward and back at the same time
Agatha Macbeth: Janus time
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Indeed
Tura Brezoianu: yes, and thinking "how shall I spend the next 15?"
Eden Haiku: Ah!
Eliza Madrigal: excellent, thank you :))
Agatha Macbeth: Time is one hell of a subject when ya think about it
Eliza Madrigal: Agatha? notes today?
Eden Haiku: Thank you Tura :)
Agatha
Agatha Macbeth: Hm, nothing special
Agatha Macbeth: Seem to be too busy ATM
Mickorod Renard: thank you Tura
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe the Doors of perception need some oil
Eliza Madrigal: hm, make sure you take good care and get rest
Eden Haiku: hehe
Eliza Madrigal: WD40 for perception, laughs
Agatha Macbeth: Rest is what I *don't* need! :P
Eden Haiku: LOL
Agatha Macbeth: Squeak squeak
Eliza Madrigal grins
Eden Haiku: You need dancing?
Agatha Macbeth: Oh always
Agatha Macbeth: Where's Sunji?
Eden Haiku: Good!
Mick
Mickorod Renard: i could mention I have been able to escape on my motorbike recently and noticed that it is one activity that does focus you on the present
Agatha Macbeth: Yay
Eliza Madrigal: nice
Agatha Macbeth: Mick and the art of motorcycle maintainence
Eden Haiku: onigokko
Eliza Madrigal grins
Agatha Macbeth: Born to be wild
Eliza Madrigal: I was just trying to give one to Patrick...so took it off, but it didn't work...
Eden Haiku: stop
Agatha Macbeth wonders if Mick still has his tail
Riddle Sideways: 2 wild and crazys and 5 moppy sad people
Eden Haiku: That is our PaB kind-of-yoga practice Patrick :)
Eliza Madrigal: not sure why it won't share
Mickorod Renard: I thought it was on,,but when I did the fancy dress the other week I lost lots
plg72 Resident: I see! I was wondering for a moment... :)
Eliza Madrigal: can someone else try?
Eden Haiku: Yes, trying...
Eliza Madrigal: ty :)
Eliza Madrigal: it may have to do with permissions and our Bleuji isn't here so can't find out yet :)
Eliza Madrigal: I'll go fetch my report n the meantime....
Agatha Macbeth: I think I gave Patrick one
Agatha Macbeth: Need to copy it 1st
Eden Haiku: I think it worked too :)
Mickorod Renard: I gave one
Eliza Madrigal: so just 'wear' that Patrick
Eliza Madrigal: you won't see it :)
Agatha Macbeth: I always liked the tail one best
Eliza Madrigal: unless it is Mick's tail kind...hhaha
Eden Haiku: onigokko
Agatha Macbeth: A trick of the tail
Eliza Madrigal: Tura did we give you one of these last time??
Eden Haiku: stop
Agatha Macbeth: onigokko
Riddle Sideways: timing is everything
Tura Brezoianu: yes, I have one
Agatha Macbeth: And spacing
Eden Haiku: Hehe, readying us for Eliza's report :)
Mickorod Renard: yayyyyyy
Eliza Madrigal laughs
Eliza Madrigal: energizing us
Agatha Macbeth: Oh she has one?
Tura Brezoianu: but I think you have to wear it in a script-enabled place before coming here
Agatha Macbeth: Oh pooee
Eden Haiku: stop
Agatha Macbeth: Boring old SL
Eliza Madrigal: wonder why mine doesn't share... but will figure it out at some point :)
Eden Haiku: Liz, Liz, Liz!!!!
Mickorod Renard: patricck must have fixed it on here
Agatha Macbeth: You probably need to detatch and copy it Liz
Agatha Macbeth: Then paste
Eliza Madrigal: okay..I just looked at my report and it isn't so interesting... but I'll add to it improvisationally
Riddle Sideways: what?
Agatha Macbeth: When are you ever not interesting?
Riddle Sideways: we had to share
Eden Haiku: Sure :) I'm sure it,s interesting!
Eliza Madrigal: ...here goes...
Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: Past-future, hope-fear, self-other, inside-outside, regret-pride…come not to feel as necessary for functioning … first, acknowledging contrivance, but also stepping into allowing contrivance as unnecessary.
Eliza Madrigal: Heard an exchange.
Eliza Madrigal: One person says, “What others think about you is not your concern.” Another answers, “You are not only what you think you are, but also what others think you are.” A third chimes in, “Much of time you are what you think others think you are.”
Eliza Madrigal: It was about what we project and think we project, what we see and what we think can be seen. And also, the extent to which there is room for surprise.
Eliza Madrigal: More and more surprise, week by week, it feels.
Eliza Madrigal: Room for surprise.
Eliza Madrigal: Made a list of what makes me happy - common element in 15 items - surprise
Eliza Madrigal: but not surprise parties
Eden Haiku: :)
Eliza Madrigal: This may have parallels to what Bleu noticed when visiting Riddle’s giant body, when Riddle arrived. A ‘me’, a ‘them’, and a third entity ‘us’. The 3 levels the book works with, in a relationship context becomes something like, level 1: acquaintance, level 2: exchange/reciprocity, level 3: friend.
Eliza Madrigal: but nothing fixed... more like the zig zag chart of the chapter
Eliza Madrigal: that shows more and more room between, more and more overlap
Eliza Madrigal: Attended a meditation with others this week, meditating eyes open, with a painting
Eliza Madrigal: the painting was simple...like a spiral, that turned to eye, that revealed in the middle a tiny pearl
Eliza Madrigal: but became fire and then I did
Eliza Madrigal: done
Riddle Sideways: see you were right about it being interesting
Eliza Madrigal: choppy... needed finesse
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: You turned into fire like the pearl Eliza?
Mickorod Renard: he he ,,yes, I was fixed on your words eliza
Eliza Madrigal: felt that way
Agatha Macbeth: Eye eye
Eliza Madrigal: like a boldness and burning... was really interesting to mediate with a group like this one
Mickorod Renard: Hi Kori
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe sauron is looking for you ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: while also keeping (in mind the exercise of) the past/present/future
Korel Laloix: heya
Eliza Madrigal: bracketed
Agatha Macbeth: Osiyo K
Eden Haiku: A wonderful trailer for chapters still unread. You seem to be much further in the book Eliza. Much room for surprise there:)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Kori :))
Mickorod Renard: Eliza on fire...imagines
Agatha Macbeth: She's hot stuff
Eliza Madrigal giggles
Agatha Macbeth: Come on baby light my fire
Riddle Sideways: hehehe nice
Eden Haiku: Wow!
Agatha Macbeth: Joan is back
Eliza Madrigal: anyway.... I love the reading we are doing
Eliza Madrigal: next week we'll bring back the charts :)
Agatha Macbeth: Yes i wondered
Eliza Madrigal: It has been hard to sign on Mondays, and I apologize about that...
Riddle Sideways: o goodie
Agatha Macbeth: To rez or not to rez
Eden Haiku: Yes, the charts!
Eliza Madrigal: the one we should look at is on the outline page for this week
Eden Haiku: Ok
Eliza Madrigal: and that leads into the zig zaggy ones. I would suggest just becoming more familiar with them and seeing if they open a bit
Eliza Madrigal: I didn't see them clearly the first two times I read the book :)
Agatha Macbeth: Ooh zig zaggy
Mickorod Renard: hopefully I may get chance to focus more soon
Eden Haiku: Not sure if I will be able to sign in next week. And the next weeks. I will be traveling in France (mostly Paris) in May and June.
Eliza Madrigal: oh, yes :(
Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Eliza Madrigal: but you will return with reports :)))
Riddle Sideways: thought Paris now had internet
Agatha Macbeth: Bang goes our star turn
Eden Haiku: But I will bring my laptop so maybe will be signing in a few times when I'm setttled in
Agatha Macbeth: Yay
Mickorod Renard: great
Eliza Madrigal: okay, as you can :) ty
Agatha Macbeth: Does the Eiffel tower have wifi?
Mickorod Renard: I have it on my phone too
Eden Haiku: Internet yes but many activities competing with TSK I'm afraid :)
Mickorod Renard: lumya or something
Eliza Madrigal: but no pressure...am taking the current chapters slowly, for us, but also since others are away too
Eden Haiku: Which **********Applause!!********** Mick?
Eden Haiku: **********Applause!!**********
Mickorod Renard: lumiya
Eliza Madrigal: there is a fun exercise of slow walking coming up soon..can do anywhere you don't feel silly
Eden Haiku: Tried to find this application Riddle poibted to but couldN,t find one for Ipad.
Agatha Macbeth: Sounds like a Russian stripper
Mickorod Renard: it works well
Eden Haiku: Ok, will download on iPhone then, tahnks Mick:)
Riddle Sideways: no preassure! just do the readings, exercises and write beautiful story reports :D
Eliza Madrigal: yes :))
Eliza Madrigal: no pressure
Mickorod Renard: I have it on an android phone but i guess its works on others
Eden Haiku: Easy to say Riddle :)
Agatha Macbeth: It's for you-hoo
Mickorod Renard: you can walk around too ..tp places
Eliza Madrigal: ooh
Eliza Madrigal: that would be an improvement
Agatha Macbeth: In RL?
Mickorod Renard: he he
Eliza Madrigal splashes Agatha
Agatha Macbeth: Nya
Mickorod Renard: shhhh..secreet that
Patrick's impressions
Eliza Madrigal: Patrick, have you enjoyed session? have any first impressions?
Agatha Macbeth pictures a teleporting Mick
plg72 Resident: Very much, thank you for asking.
plg72 Resident: Good to listen to your experiences.
Agatha Macbeth: Weird tho they may be
Eden Haiku: hey!
Agatha Macbeth: Mm?
Eliza Madrigal: Mrawwwww...
Agatha Macbeth: Meep Meep ;P :p:P :p :P
Eliza Madrigal: feel free to chime in too, patrick, would be interested to hear what comes up for you if anything, even if not reading the book with us
plg72 Resident: Thank you.
Agatha Macbeth: Patrick, if you need help on the basics of SL, this is a good place: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlif...dge/148/196/30
plg72 Resident: I hope to be back again. NOt sure when yet, but...
Agatha Macbeth grins
plg72 Resident: Oh good, that will be helpful, Agatha.
Agatha Macbeth: Did we scare him off?
Agatha Macbeth: YW
Eliza Madrigal: playasbeing.org <---front page has a calendar with session times
Eliza Madrigal: also links to chat logs from the last 8 years
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Yes, come back when you can Patrick :) Loved your presence.
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, which I *never* look at :p
Agatha Macbeth: Any meetings this weekend Liz?
plg72 Resident: Thank you, Eden. Likewise.
Riddle Sideways: yes, thank you pLg
Mickorod Renard: yes, nice to meet you Patrick
Riddle Sideways: Time to go
Eliza Madrigal: this weekend there is a guardian meeting but I'm not sure if I can host yet
Agatha Macbeth: GM or WG?
Eliza Madrigal: Okay thanks Riddle!!
Agatha Macbeth: Oh OK
Eliza Madrigal: onigokko
Agatha Macbeth: Sat at 2 right?
Eliza Madrigal: stop
Eden Haiku: Bye bye Riddle!
Agatha Macbeth: I can be there
Eliza Madrigal: yes :) Sat 2pm slt
Agatha Macbeth: OK
Eliza Madrigal: thank you!
Tura Brezoianu: what do guardians do?
Mickorod Renard: I may be away..but I may also make it
plg72 Resident: Ha - bye Riddle and thanks Mick.
Agatha Macbeth: At least this time I'll know hehe
Eliza Madrigal: guardians host sessions if they like, and have access to wiki and emails...
Eliza Madrigal: there is a larger guardian group than attends sessions...
Eliza Madrigal: and a little process that goes through the working group...
Agatha Macbeth: Some who we never see :(
Eden Haiku: We are still around 60 or so aren't we?
Eliza Madrigal: yes
Agatha Macbeth nods
Eliza Madrigal: some never come in but if you try to clean up the list they protest :))
Eden Haiku: Some are almost mythical :)
Agatha Macbeth: I was amazed when Caledonia turned up at the party
Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: that was lovely
Agatha Macbeth: Also pleased
Eden Haiku: What was the name of the woman from Australia?
Eliza Madrigal: she still does things with the space station in SL, until recently I think
Agatha Macbeth: Tarmel?
Eliza Madrigal: Tarmel?
Agatha Macbeth: Snap
Eden Haiku: Tarmel right! And Pila from Hawaiii
Agatha Macbeth: Aloha
Eliza Madrigal: miss Pila... so many lovely friends
Mickorod Renard: and of course some follow the emails
Eden Haiku: Aloha Pila:)
Eliza Madrigal waves
Agatha Macbeth: Hope his volcano is behaving
Eden Haiku: Where are you in RL Patrick?
Eliza Madrigal: for a while we were having RL retreats
plg72 Resident: New York City
Agatha Macbeth: Nice
Eden Haiku: Ah! Great. I'm in Montreal.
plg72 Resident: Yes. It's been lovely here lately. Spring = beautiful.
Eliza Madrigal: hot like Summer already in Miami
Agatha Macbeth: Well Patrick, if you can survive crazy people like us, SL will hold no fears
Eliza Madrigal: Agatha, don't you think we're a little less scary than some of SL? haha
plg72 Resident: Ha! Well this was a good SL intro for me. Hopefully more to come, but I'd better get going now.
Agatha Macbeth considers
plg72 Resident: Thanks much for the time.
