Riddle Sideways: growing up the Amish were just these people, ya'know

Mickorod Renard: I remember I went in around 92...My mum wanted to visit the all year round xmas shop

Bleu Oleander: 3 art projects are installed so far
Mickorod Renard: I was the next flight on the helicopter before two helicopters collided killing most on board
Bleu Oleander: oh my!

Mickorod Renard: yes, because we are having a sort of break from traditional tsk as Eliza is away,,we will give time to art

Mickorod Renard: but yes riddle, there is some background practice we need to do on tsk

Riddle Sideways: Background = catch up reading and exercises and thinking and beginner minds and and and
Mickorod Renard: and it will also give folks that have been away chance to catch up
Mickorod Renard: yehhh,,thats it

Mickorod Renard: its a great thing to contemplate..I find being not away is too intense at home,,and dificult to keep up
Bleu Oleander: hard to be away from either space time or knowledge (although seems like some have been away from knowledge hehe)

Mickorod Renard: I am hoping whilst I am away I may be able to think a little more and maybe understand the tsk better

Riddle Sideways: funny, was doing the slow walking exercise at in-laws house and got caught

Mickorod Renard: Its funny, my doctor, whom I rarely see..is sending me to the gym as I said I was fatigued. Surely that will exhaust me out even more

Riddle Sideways: (tried to) had to sprint from S.F. gate 90 to gate 71B last night

Mickorod Renard: i seem to recall sf airport as being hot and a little confusing

Mickorod Renard: erk, I am now pinned down by a 2 year old

Riddle Sideways: visited sister, who now has 2 more great-grand kids and 1 grandchild.
Riddle Sideways: all 9 months old
Qt Core: relatively cold and rainy, thunderstorms too
Riddle Sideways: within 6 weeks of each other
Mickorod Renard: great grand kids,,wow
Mickorod Renard: we may get an odd storm tomorrow
Riddle Sideways: has 7 great grand kids now

Mickorod Renard: It will be at least another 10 years before I get to be a great great grand parent

Qt Core: a cousin of mine, just 12 years older than me has grandkids... it sounds scary and almost absurd to mer

Mickorod Renard: its was funny, I sometimes pass a pub in the countryside that had lots of hanging clocks like your art piece...but when I passed the other day they had all been removed
Korel Laloix: We have a lot of underage multi-generational mothers on the reservations... so 30ish year old grandmothers are not unheard of.

Mickorod Renard: I have been trying to get back into oil painting but its impossible with so many kids around
Bleu Oleander: better to use water based paints with kids around :)

Mickorod Renard: yes, its trick to get the skin right with water based..I feel
Riddle Sideways: finger paints might be best

Riddle Sideways: skin can take on many colors
Mickorod Renard: usually,,during this last few years
Mickorod Renard: yes! they can reflect the surroundings

Mickorod Renard: they start with brushes and end up using all parts of the body
Riddle Sideways: foot painting is the best... then they walk thru house to the wash off place
Mickorod Renard: the 2 year old tho, he has a lovely brush stroke
