Bleu Oleander: art in the park is looking great
Bleu Oleander: yes, I will put artist names
    Bleu Oleander: notecards are optional
Bleu Oleander: I should get busy and do that :)
    Riddle Sideways: no rush :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Riddle Sideways: when is the 'oh dear, I am late' date?
Bleu Oleander: july 17 is party and review
Riddle Sideways: ok, still time to procastinate
    Bleu Oleander: yep :)
    Adams Rubble: July 18th?
Bleu Oleander: I thought 17 but will check Eliza's email
Adams Rubble: I was suggesting the late date
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: yep, that would be late date
Bleu Oleander: oh yes sorry :)
Riddle Sideways: need a SL dog to eat the assignment
    Bleu Oleander: hehe
Bleu Oleander: very hot here, brain going slowly
Riddle Sideways: what's the most creative excuse you have heard?
    Bleu Oleander: ever?
    Riddle Sideways: sure
Bleu Oleander: dog ate my pixels ... uh I don't know, you?
                   --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, never caught anybody with an outragious excuse

Riddle Sideways: just got back from a small music festival that was very hot and dusty
Riddle Sideways: their slogan is "Peace, Love, Dirt"
Riddle Sideways: got a nice new cap with that on it
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Riddle Sideways: went with a bunch of friends (that are of a particular sexual avenue)
Riddle Sideways: and were chatting about how the world has changed
Bleu Oleander: world changes every day!
Riddle Sideways: the current LGBTQ situation
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Riddle Sideways: and here are 70+ year old people
Riddle Sideways: who were in closets most of their livies
Bleu Oleander: in many ways we all have some closet aspects of our lives, don't we?
Riddle Sideways: that can now finally get married
    Riddle Sideways: yep
    Bleu Oleander: and divorced :)
    Riddle Sideways: yep
Adams Rubble: Nice to have a closet built by oneself and not by society
Riddle Sideways: and are looking for the nursing homes, assisted living arrangements
Bleu Oleander: society has had a strong hand with all of us

Bleu Oleander: interesting to see SL following many of the same patterns!
    Riddle Sideways: how so?
Bleu Oleander: I see so many of the same patterns, don't you?
Bleu Oleander: how we design our avatars for example
    Bleu Oleander: what we build
Bleu Oleander: how we organize into groups
Bleu Oleander: how we buy and sell land
    Bleu Oleander: consumer culture
Bleu Oleander: better question might be how different?
Bleu Oleander: oops spoke right thru pause ... sorry
    Adams Rubble: hmmm
Riddle Sideways: well, SL was purposely started with a $L economy
    Riddle Sideways: as with experiment
                   --BELL--
Adams Rubble: I have learned to be more understanding in SL
Riddle Sideways: and most build usual homes
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: and people put up walls
    Bleu Oleander: yep
Riddle Sideways: and sell to their group/clubs
Adams Rubble: I have learned about closets but have not felt like I was in one for the most part
Bleu Oleander: this is mine ... this is my group
Adams Rubble: Going out of PaB, people care more about how I dress in SL than in RL :)
Bleu Oleander: oh no questions we can learn different things using this technology but that is true in rl too
    Bleu Oleander: interesting Adams!
Riddle Sideways: yes, the several Alts (from a Bleu art project) are still active
Bleu Oleander: maybe people feel freer to comment on dress in sl than in rl
Riddle Sideways: and dress/look very different
    Bleu Oleander: fun Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: and go to places that are ummm, inappropriate for their look
Bleu Oleander: I'm not likely to use my alts these days
Riddle Sideways: actually am them much more these days
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Adams Rubble: I only use one alt nowdays
Bleu Oleander: hard to share L$'s with them all hehe
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Riddle Sideways: they don't buy much
Bleu Oleander: they tip tho :)
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Riddle Sideways: lately they have shared landmarks
Riddle Sideways: and go to the same places
Riddle Sideways: and see how they are recieved
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Bleu Oleander: btw, there are some new places to frequent in PaB now ... in Mieum and on my plots too
Bleu Oleander: all should feel free to use them
    Riddle Sideways: oh?
Adams Rubble: thank you; I haven't gotten out much lately
Bleu Oleander: San has added some lovely places
Riddle Sideways: will have to look about
    Adams Rubble: yes me too
    Bleu Oleander: take a stroll
Bleu Oleander: yes, thank you Adams

Riddle Sideways: did stroll the musium
    Bleu Oleander: lovely addition!
Riddle Sideways: missed the opening party by a couple hours
Bleu Oleander: we should add a sign somewhere with landmark TP?
Adams Rubble: that would be nice
Riddle Sideways: need to go back and read the notes in the other building
Bleu Oleander: I'll add one to the main sign
    Adams Rubble: TY
Bleu Oleander: can you give me the LM you want to use?
Riddle Sideways: that would be good

Adams Rubble: I am taking a course on the Talmud on Coursera
    Bleu Oleander: interesting Adams
    Riddle Sideways: oh wow
Adams Rubble: it just started and is eight weeks
Riddle Sideways: you are both the perpetual students
    Bleu Oleander: yes!
Adams Rubble: nice that one can be a student in one's closet nowdays :)
Bleu Oleander: why not be? so many interesting things to be curious about
Adams Rubble: as long as it has a computer
    Adams Rubble: and WIFI
Riddle Sideways: the Talmud is interesting in that they reprinted a book with notes in the borders :)
    Adams Rubble: yes Bleu :)
Adams Rubble: Horatio's head is spinning
                   --BELL--
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Riddle Sideways: we (RL home) decided to study each other's books
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: started over TSK together
    Bleu Oleander: fun!
Riddle Sideways: and the book on 'Mussar' (Jewish spiritual path)
Riddle Sideways: comment on the Foreword of TSK was "why are the sentences so run on, complicated, twisted and using words that need a dictionary beside you"
    Adams Rubble: :)

Adams Rubble: sometimes I think that words with elusive meanings allow us to talk to each other without fighting
Bleu Oleander: words are more fluid in meaning than we realize
    Riddle Sideways: hmmmm, yes
Adams Rubble: on the other hand some words get tagged with negative connotations that hide the other meanings
Riddle Sideways: we spent a whole glass of wine time on a 41 word sentence
Bleu Oleander: for example "spiritual" ... so many meanings and none of them seem static
Adams Rubble: yes and "faith" is one of the words that creates antagonism in some people
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Riddle Sideways: even "Peace" gets reactions
Riddle Sideways: "Love" is almost usually good
Bleu Oleander: yes many concepts of those words

Adams Rubble: Recently I contemplated that what St.Paul meant by faith could be related to what Buddhists mean by emptiness
    Bleu Oleander listens
Adams Rubble: It is more than just believing
    Adams Rubble: deeper meaning
Adams Rubble: to what connects all of us
                   --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: ah, reverse of what we were just saying
Adams Rubble: the energy comes from the connections
Bleu Oleander: on that thought ... a nice one to start the day Adams ... I must get going
Riddle Sideways: many words that goes to the same meaning
    Adams Rubble: bye Bleu :)
Bleu Oleander: thanks for a nice conversation
Adams Rubble: have a good first day of summer
Riddle Sideways: thanks Bleu and have your best day
Bleu Oleander: you both enjoy your day too
Adams Rubble: I wish you well in your studying together in RL
    Riddle Sideways: thanks
Adams Rubble: bye for now Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: and go have the best day
    Adams Rubble: thank you :)
