Adams Rubble: Good morning Riddle :)
    Riddle Sideways: Morning Adams ㋡
    Riddle Sideways: there, seated
Riddle Sideways: was delayed because a fav song was playing (on plot) by a strange group
    Riddle Sideways: now here
Riddle Sideways: have enjoyed reading your blogs
Adams Rubble: It is only 7:02
Riddle Sideways: seemed later than it was

Adams Rubble: I woke up remembering that love is not an exhaustible resource. The more love we have, the more love that arises
Adams Rubble: did not get that into the blog
Riddle Sideways: oh good, more to come
Riddle Sideways: there was something about the brain running 24/7
    Adams Rubble: yes, my devil

Riddle Sideways: got remembering that brain wave research said it runs at different frequencies
Adams Rubble: if we don't control it, it may send out lots of tweets at 3 in the morning
    Riddle Sideways: ㋡ yes
Adams Rubble: I did not know about the different frequencies
Adams Rubble: I know nothing about brain science
Riddle Sideways: read that stuff years ago and not remembering well
Adams Rubble: we know stuff about our minds that science does not have the capacity to know (yet)
Riddle Sideways: Alpha and Delta states/waves/rythems something like those
Adams Rubble: the mind is very clever and will lie to us
Riddle Sideways: And different sciences explain it differently
Adams Rubble: the mind will protect its false narratives with all its power
Riddle Sideways: mind is very clever at only hearing half, listening to half that and believing half of that
    Adams Rubble: sensory perception
    Riddle Sideways: and lack of
Adams Rubble: some people see police gang beating an innocent Black man and see a dangerous criminal getting what he deserves
Adams Rubble: because that is what the false narrative the brain is protecting
Adams Rubble: that was a poor sentence
    Adams Rubble: forget the "what"
Riddle Sideways: and some don't see it at all, because it is Somebody Else's Problem
       --BELL--

Adams Rubble: yesterday I heard the words of Phil Och's Links on a Chain for the first time although it has played many times for me
Adams Rubble: I was ready to hear it
Riddle Sideways: funny, yesterday heard the words in a familar song too that had never really heard
Riddle Sideways: Phil Ochs, partly remember many of his songe
    Riddle Sideways: *songs
Adams Rubble: the unions in the 1960s were just like the poor whites in the south during the Civil War. They belived that if the Blacks were not suppressed, they would be coming for their jobs
Adams Rubble: in both cases they lost what they had because of it
Riddle Sideways: how everything is strangely connected like links on a chain
Riddle Sideways: how simple it is to just Fix one thing
Riddle Sideways: that messes up other things
Adams Rubble: one false narrative can mess everything up
Riddle Sideways: blame those blacks because we can't face it being Our problem
Adams Rubble: unions lost power; people left w/o pensions
Riddle Sideways: one weak link of a chain

    Adams Rubble: Happy Bastille Day
Riddle Sideways: oh! did not realize
Riddle Sideways: calendar should have had that on it
    Riddle Sideways: brb
Adams Rubble: Bastille Day is not for the faint hearted
       --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: yet another up rising
Adams Rubble: a revolution taken over by the blood thirsty
Adams Rubble: like peaceful demonstrations taken over by people with other agendas
Riddle Sideways: those evil peaceful people
Riddle Sideways: Singing along: How many deaths will it take til they know, that too many people have died
Riddle Sideways: The answer my friend, is blowing your mind
Adams Rubble: the devil made them do it
Riddle Sideways: Covid-19 muted Bastille Day celebrations in Paris
    Riddle Sideways: great phrase
Riddle Sideways: that little devil brain made them do it
    Adams Rubble: of course
Adams Rubble: and everywhere the devil went, he was sure to take me
Adams Rubble: the devil metaphor works so beautifully; it is a pity so few realize it is a metaophor
    Riddle Sideways: yes,
Riddle Sideways: many religions extended that mataphor
Adams Rubble: the mind often appears an entitiy onto itself
Riddle Sideways: (hard to type witty things with face cat sitting on hand)
Adams Rubble: the cats are like the mind, always distracting
Adams Rubble: perhaps that is why they are associated with the devil
    Adams Rubble: like the mind
       --BELL--

Riddle Sideways: yet. In this dualistic way devil makes G-d appear too
Adams Rubble: Pema suggested I walk with my devil in Paradise
Riddle Sideways: distraction says that Phil Ochs wrote or recorded at least 238 songs
Riddle Sideways: or walk with G-d through the valley of
Adams Rubble: it's funny, Pema's advice did not make sense to me before, but this morning it does
    Riddle Sideways: funny, but understandable
Adams Rubble: we take our monkey mind with us weherever we go
Adams Rubble: Riddle, check Wikipedia and see how many songs Phil ochs wrote
Riddle Sideways: yep, where that came from
Adams Rubble glad you were not offended by my statement
    Riddle Sideways: nope
Adams Rubble: that's a lot of songs in a short life
Adams Rubble: some of them were brilliant
Riddle Sideways: almost all are funny.
    Adams Rubble: well some
Adams Rubble: my favorite ones aren't
Riddle Sideways: Studio recording: "All the News That's Fit to Sing (1964)"
Adams Rubble: I bought that album in the 60s
Adams Rubble: played it for my parents when came home from college
Adams Rubble: they were patient with me :)
    Riddle Sideways: ㋡

Adams Rubble: how is the construction going?
Adams Rubble: I am going to have to go soon
       --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: was going to see Phil Ochs once and the city canceled his show due to peaceful demonstrations
Riddle Sideways: that day, thought that he would incite riots
    Adams Rubble: :(
Riddle Sideways: construction is happening, so need to go too. boards are going to be delivered, so stuff has to move (yet again)
Adams Rubble: good luck with the project
Adams Rubble: see you in a couple of days :)
Riddle Sideways: yep, see ya then
    Riddle Sideways: by AQll]
    Adams Rubble: bye for now
    Riddle Sideways: All
