Proposed Agenda for Wednesday: June 15, 12pm SLT
0 - Email Topics
1 - New Guardian Candidates
Are there regular attendees that anyone would like to propose as PaB guardians, or consider?
2 - Music Sessions
Let's discuss music sessions scheduling. Might there be a new structure (bi-weekly or at different times of day) that would better suit the whole group and Sunshine's overspilling schedule?
3 - Tech Topics
2a - Yaku has asked for a portable devise for the 90 second stops, during voice sessions when at the pub or elsewhere than the PaB pavilion. While the watch made years ago sounds a bell, it would be better to have an appropriate and friendly object with a 'gentle sounding' beginning and end bell. This might also be used in the Village Hall and Retreat Village.
[Note that I was having a discussion in another group recently when others suggested to take a 'pab style pause']
4 - Chronicles
Shall we have a way to regularly draw attention to the work being done in the Chronicles? The Guardian Meeting serves this function, but might it be a good idea for someone to compile a sort of email 'newsletter' once a month, reminding everyone to take a look at the Chronicles, and of any changes in times of Music or Prim sessions, etc.?
5 - Retreats and Forms
It would be nice to hear from the group, any thoughts or ideas concerning retreat scheduling and formats, and forms of RL and SL meetings and retreats in general.
Attending: Sun, Eliza, Bruce, Aggers, Calvino, Aphrodite
Eos will not be able to join us for weekday meetings anymore since he's had a change of employment
1. Guardian candidates: None were proposed
2. Eos sent Eliza an email saying that he does not have a beginning for the apps yet, so she removed that item from the original agenda
3. Music Sessions
Sunshine and Eliza were congratulated for their participation in the performance on Sunday
Action: Sun said that every because of her RL responsibilities, Tuesday at noon slt was more convenient for her to hold the both the music and theatre sessions rather than on both Wednesday mornings and noon on Sundays. She suggestred mixing the theater workshops with the music sessions and hold them in the larger molecule theater. Like in a spontaneous art class each participant could bring an instrument and play it on stage and she would rez different stages to play on with different lighting. The main thing is that it should be fun and no person should burn themselves out keeping it 'going'. To allow for unforeseen circumstances, the workshops won't always have to take place.
Action: Sun will also consult with Yaku to see whether he would sometimes like to have an overlap with his noon voice sessions on Fridays.
Prim workshops will continue to take place on Friday 8am slt in the Skybox.
This will all be put in the calendar.
4. WG Schedule
Action: Agreed to revert back to the old Working Group meeting days and provided there are no pressing topics, and begin 3 weeks from today – i.e. noon July 6. If some WG things come up they can be discussed by email.
5. Portable device for announcing 90 second stops, during voice sessions when at the pub or elsewhere than the PaB pavilion. Yakuzza has asked for it, mainly because he likes to have voice sessions in the pub.
Cal uses a portable device during the Original Face meetings but it needs a bit of script work and simplifications before he'd give it away. He said he could try and make it more workable as a customizable timer.
Action:We agreed that this issue be discussed in the upcoming Sunday Guardian session. Maybe others would have ideas and could make things too; it could be a PaB art project suggested Cal.
6. Chronicles
Sunshine has written about PAB’s birthday, will now write about the theater opening and will interview Bruce, while Aggers has been keeping up with w/g and guardian sessions. Thank you!!
Meeting adjourned.
