I like Calvino's interpretation of "dimension of being"
Calvino Rabeni: But my personal feeling is, there are so many dimensions of being that activity can inhabit - I mean, "I" in activity, that during the pause I get a sense of those possibilities. It feels like having "room to move" I suppose, meaning I feel it physically.

Wester's comment made me think of antimatter, two opposites collapsing into each other and turning into energy
Wester Kiranov: I think so it's one of the things I notice in any 'spiritual' experience, opposites collapse into one another

Eos has an interesting concept--silence is the medium for listening as light is the medium for seeing...
Eos Amaterasu: perhaps silence as listening, like light for seeing?
Act 3 Scene 1
http://playasbeing.wik.is/Chat_Logs/2009/11/2009.11.18_01%3a00_-_Meeting_a_syncretist
I learn a new word, and idea..syncretist...
Calvino Rabeni: A syncretist - as I meant it - is someone who kind of synthesizes many philosophies into a larger system. Earlier in the history of religion that may have been regarded as a bad thing - a sign of ideological impurity. But in these post-modern times I don't think it necessarily has that sense.
