MINUTES
Meeting was held at Perfect Paradise since Bieup was temporarily inaccessible.
Attending: Aphro, boxy, Bruce, Eliza, Eos, Sunshine, Wol, Cal
1. Checking in with wiki/tech issues:
- Logging problems with the auto-listener at the Pavilion
- Eliza Madrigal had checked with the logging list, and found there are no 1AM sessions for Tuesday or today but other sessions are there.
Action: Cal is doing some work to change the logging script a bit so that it auto-puts the saved log into the right page on the wiki.
Action: Eos will send an email with instructions for Mac users as to where to find the chat log file and to enable their computer to do so.
Calvino Rabeni reported that all the log files are safe... but the mailer didn't send the messages
Wol feared that he took a list of known email addresses before changing the script, but cannot swear that I reloaded that list. He reported that he did modify the email script to remove Fael's name from the text message, but thinks that was all he did but doesn’t know why the 1AMs didn't get recorded.
Action: Wol Euler agreed to investigate the situation once he can get in to Bieup.
Action: Eos has sent a message to the PaB group that Wol is on the case.
Action: Eliza will email the main group about it being normal to not be able to sign on.
2. Checking with Eos about Nova Scotia Windhorse RL retreat - July 17 - 23, 2011
Eos Amaterasu reported that we have 6 people attending, so far: Bruce, Eliza, Eos, Stim, Pema, andWol.
Action: Eos will send out a BIG REMINDER to the rest of the Guardians.
3. WG Retreat on Sunday, May 29th.
Eliza Madrigal has sent a list of options to get feedback from others on a preferred time and day
This retreat will be “more like a company picnic”
Action: Sun agreed to organize it with Eliza
Wol was invited to come to the picnic... he’s been at half our meetings now
4. New guardian candidates. None was suggested
5. Theme session ideas? Would anyone like to propose and organize one?
- Wol was going to do an "identity" theme but is too busy at the moment. Things are slowing down at work and he may have more time (lots of time) in late summer/autumn.
- Eos Amaterasu suggested we ask what's been bugging or puzzling or challenging people in order to develop a theme session on one of those issues. This would involve sending out an email to all Guardians to ask them.
- Eos also suggested asking “do you have a favorite(s) framing for 9 sec practice, or 90?”
and developing a theme session to ask the question....
