The Cheshire Cat
Eden Haiku: A bit difficult for a 8 year old butshe loves to read so muchand her Mom will help along I'm sure,,,
Riddle Sideways: is the Cheshire cat French?
Eden Haiku: Yes and I felt a bit sad about that: he doesn't smile, he "makes a face" and has a name that means that, I prefer a vanishing smile :)
Eden Haiku: Cheshire cat was always my favorite, even though I didn't even know Cheshire was the name of a place...
Riddle Sideways: had a Cheshire Cat in a tree on the old plot here
Eden Haiku: The sound "Chech" is quite similar to the word for cat in French: "chat".
Riddle Sideways: the cat vanished and the smile remained
Eden Haiku: Oh yes, Riddle, that was so much fun!
Eden Haiku: It's like when you almost forgot someone but their smile remains with you somehow :)
Riddle Sideways: yes, there are people forgotten except one attribute
Eden Haiku: True
Riddle Sideways: Then there are originals that Disney remade and replaced images in our memories
