.........................................................................................................................................
Sama was possibly at her computer watching (on like a webcam) me and the actress that played Hermione Granger from Harry Potter (Emma Watson) while we were on a hike and pressed for time. (Sama said she felt a little jealous as we both have a thing for her.) She was frustrated because her mother was following us, but holding us up... stopping all the time and just refusing to catch up with us. But we got to where we were going eventually, which was an office just out in the bushes in a big park.
Sama was at first panicked as she saw that the park ranger was not there for our appointment. But then Emma said she could act the part of the park ranger and get us taken care of. So she disappeared into a changing booth and came back out dressed as a park ranger. So as the park ranger, Emma sat down at the desk and started going through our forms and asked us for the pictures.... which then made Sama panic again because she forgot to give us the pictures we needed for the appointment.
Just then, her mom shows up with her camera and saves the day as she was lagging behind to take the flower pictures that we needed for the forms. So Sama felt guilty about complaining about her mom being so slow.
So ranger Emma checked off the pictures from the camera on the forms and told us we were good so we could pick the flowers now. Just then the actual park ranger showed up and thanked Emma for taking care of it while she had to step out. We all got the feeling that she stepped out on purpose to avoid doing the forms. And after some pressing she admitted she was afraid of flowers and was relived that Emma took care of it.
That lead into a big discussion about how you can be afraid of flowers... and even more importantly, if you are afraid of flowers, why would you be a park ranger? So we discussed how you could get that phobia... allergies, falling in a rose bush, bees, etc. Sama's mother gave the suggestion that it could have been because of color blindness. None of us thought about that and wondered how that would produce fear. But Sama realized her mother was just being sarcastic and hateful because the ranger was dressed like she was color blind with obvious badly clashing uniform parts and different colored shoes.
So Emma changed back out of ranger outfit and we headed back down the trail to pick the flowers. But every place that Sama's mom had taken flower pictures, the flowers were gone... replaced by a black square like they had been cut out of the picture. So she was frustrated watching this as we needed the flowers. So we got down to the bottom of the mountain empty handed and there we met an environmental police ranger how asked us if we had been taking illegal pictures of the flowers with an intent to pick them? So Sama's mom said yes and was presented with ticket for thinking about picking flowers.
The environmental ranger then showed us that she picked the flowers so we would not. We were just speechless at how stupid this was and Sama was angry. But then Emma said she would take care of this, so she disappeared again and came back in her park ranger outfit and arrested the environmental ranger for picking flowers without a permit. Arresting involved placing this large magnetic sign on the environmental ranger that said "Arrested" in Russian. But it would not stick to her as she had no metal on her.
So I had an idea on how to make it stick. There was evidently a bee hive near there with a coin slot where you could get fresh honey. So I put in a quarter and poured the honey on the back of the sign and then stuck it to the environmental ranger.
So Emma confiscated the flowers and we caught one of those sky tram cable car things up to another mountain where there was a warehouse. A Vietnamese lady met us there and took the flowers and hooked them up to these hoses that gave them water and fertilizer and they started growing slowly, but fast enough to see.
So while we were waiting for the Vietnamese lady to grow the flowers more to make bouquets (for what Sama did not know, she just knew she needed them badly), we started looking around the empty warehouse. Emma disappeared again to change out of her ranger outfit; and while she was gone, we noticed chalk outlines and stains on the floor like you see in crime movies of the markings they make around murdered bodies. When Emma came back she apologized and said she would love to help by acting like a police officer vs a park ranger as she had already spent 29 mins acting in other roles today and if she hit 30 mins, she would have to report the day to the actors union and it would complicate things.
So we started looking suspiciously at the Vietnamese lady but she seemed harmless. However, Sama watching all of this on her computer had a “bad bad bad” feeling about it and wanted to get us out of there as fast as possible.
At this point she realized she really was (in the dream at least) watching all of this through her computer on skype or the like and figured out the quickest way to get us out of there was to order us through Amazon.com. So she got on there and put us in the shopping cart noting that if she ordered us as a set we would be cheaper; but might take longer to get us delivered. So she opted to join the Amazon Prime thing and selected next day delivery. And as an added touch she ordered me gift-wrapped (lol).
So we disappeared from the warehouse and then the doorbell range at the house. When Sama opened the door, we were there and very annoyed as we were all wearing what could best be described as bubble-wrap dresses, and I had a large pink gift-wrap bow in my hair.
At this point Sama said she woke up giggling.
.......................................................................................................................................
Korel Laloix: Did everyone get it?
Agatha Macbeth: I did
Bleu Oleander: yes I did
Korel Laloix: Anyone not?
Catrinamonblue Resident: got it :) thanks
arabella Ella: Mick just sent his apologies he is trying to log in but got stuck with some update so he should be here soon!
Agatha Macbeth: Tell him to get a move on! :p
arabella Ella: he he
Korel Laloix: The girl has way too active of an imagination I think... lol
Bleu Oleander: indeed
Agatha Macbeth: Seems like it
Bleu Oleander: she should write for sitcoms
Bleu Oleander: would be better than what's out there!
Korel Laloix: Too much vodka I think.
Korel Laloix smiles
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Aphrodite Macbain thinks, I wish I could meet Sama
Korel Laloix: I am trying to drag her in some day.
Korel Laloix: I will make it happen eventually...
Aphrodite Macbain: does she have an avatar?
Agatha Macbeth: This is positively Kafkaesque
Korel Laloix: She is very very very anti-video game.. so never been in here.
Mickorod Renard: Hi
Bleu Oleander: hi Mick
arabella Ella: Hiya Mick
Korel Laloix: lol.. I think she might like that term...
Agatha Macbeth: Tell her it's not a game ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: Yay Micko
Korel Laloix: Heya
Mickorod Renard: sorry i am late,,i got stuck in an sl upload
Agatha Macbeth: Well that is pretty amazing
Agatha Macbeth: What does she eat before bed?
Korel Laloix: Oh I have told her... and I would not have met her without SL.. in a very round about way.
Aphrodite Macbain pinches herself. I dont feel like a video game.
Korel Laloix: She has a vodka something some nights.. not sure if there is a connect to her dreams though.. will start paying attention to that though.
Korel Laloix: True. but that is what she considers it...
--BELL--
Aphrodite Macbain: she may get Russian dreams...
arabella Ella: I love the way the honey was used instead of something metallic - brilliant!
Korel Laloix: The thing is...
arabella Ella: and the end
Mickorod Renard: still reading
Korel Laloix: Happy dreams tend to be in Russian for her.
Korel Laloix: Stress dreams tend to be in English.
Korel Laloix: And fear dreams tend to be in Spanish.
Agatha Macbeth: Good grief
Bleu Oleander: amazing
Agatha Macbeth: What happens if she dreams in Polish?
Korel Laloix: lol
Korel Laloix: I don't think she knows Polish..
Korel Laloix: And afraid to ask...
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe just as well
Agatha Macbeth: I'm glad she got you next day delivery anyway
Korel Laloix: The other dream is a happy dream and is in Russian.
Korel Laloix: SO am I. being dressed like that for longer would have had me really annoyed.
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe I missed something, but why was this stressful?
Mickorod Renard: well,,that was some dream,,its huge
Korel Laloix: For her, the stress of being late .
arabella Ella nods
Korel Laloix: And us being in danger I guess.
Korel Laloix: More has to do with how the dreams starts maybe? Not sure.. I will ask her that though.
Bleu Oleander: brb
arabella Ella: At least she woke up giggling :)
Agatha Macbeth: Hm
Agatha Macbeth: Well that's what I thought
arabella Ella: and she remembered quite a lot of the dream, amazing
Mickorod Renard: I am impressed sama remembered so much..but then I guess it followed on nicely
Mickorod Renard: I have found that its like pulling on a long string and it keeps coming out more and more in thes etype of ones
Korel Laloix: I never remember beyond little glimpses.. so anytime some can remember much, that is just odd to me.
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, same here
arabella Ella: yes me too
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Mickorod Renard: recently i havnt had any to recalla
Korel Laloix: And the other question I have.. is how do you not know your brain is not just inventing it right then, vs remembering it?
Korel Laloix: Or maybe filling in the blanks.
Agatha Macbeth: True
Korel Laloix: Can you tell if you were making it up in your sleep or some deep part of your brain right then.. and it just appears as memory.
Aphrodite Macbain: I am trying to figure out why she talks about a fear of flowers
Mickorod Renard: I am sure there must be some intervention by the mind to join up missing bits
Korel Laloix: Curious about that.
Bleu Oleander: interesting question Kori
arabella Ella: I guess the mind does fill in some of the blanks to make it all more coherent somehow
Korel Laloix: Yes, the fear of flowers thing is probably the most interesting thing to me in it.
Bleu Oleander: could ask the same about our past experiences too
Mickorod Renard: well, that too Bleu
Mickorod Renard: I would think
Bleu Oleander: memories are tricky
Bleu Oleander: fuzzy
Agatha Macbeth: Mine certainly is
Bleu Oleander: mine too
Mickorod Renard: but often in rl we can refer to other peoples memories of the same events
Agatha Macbeth: To see how different they are?
Korel Laloix: In my counseling classes.. there was discussion about what the client remembers and what happened.. for treatment, both are important.
Korel Laloix: But often you only have the memory to work with.
Catrinamonblue Resident: nods
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, I can see that
Bleu Oleander: yes
Mickorod Renard: and also we can rationalize on the basis that rl is generaly more regular
Bleu Oleander: not my RL lately :)
arabella Ella: whenever I am forgetful I say my memory is kind as I tend to forget bad things
Aphrodite Macbain thinks about the flowers painted by Georgia O'Keefe
Mickorod Renard: erk..he he
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Bleu Oleander: love Georgia's flowers :)
Agatha Macbeth: Erk indeed
Korel Laloix looks up O'Keefe
Mickorod Renard: there is interpretation too,,to consider..as in one persons view can be diferent to anothers
Aphrodite Macbain: grins at Mick
arabella Ella: yes perception differs from one person to another
Korel Laloix: Oh.. her.. I know the paintings, just not the name.
Mickorod Renard: but with a dream there is only one recipient
Bleu Oleander: only one recipient?
Mickorod Renard: recipient of the dream experience
Bleu Oleander: are you counting the dreamer as one?
Mickorod Renard: always
Bleu Oleander: which self is having the dream?
arabella Ella: Is Sama often frustrated with what her Mum does or does not do?
--BELL--
Korel Laloix: They are having their worst conflict she can remember right now.
arabella Ella: I think that emerges through the dream somehow too
Korel Laloix: That was the first thing she picked up on.
arabella Ella: She seems to want her Mum to get things right and when she does not Sama is frustrated
Mickorod Renard: how many selfs do we have? or are we talking about the minds processing facility being split? I wonder
Aphrodite Macbain: good question
Korel Laloix: Right now Sama wants her mom's support, but she is being so difficult and critical, she more wants her mom out of our business.
arabella Ella nods
Catrinamonblue Resident: moms are hard to get along with
arabella Ella: understandable
Agatha Macbeth: What else are mothers for? :p
Korel Laloix: Another odd question.. do you feel violated when someone dreams about you? Or any other emotion?.. Honored?
Bleu Oleander: I think different "selves" react to RL in different ways, why not dreams too?
Aphrodite Macbain loves the concept of a black square instead of a flower! I wonder if black is significant.
Korel Laloix: Or depends on the topic?
Agatha Macbeth: Nonplussed
Aphrodite Macbain: erk we talked thru the bell
arabella Ella: I think the general feeling is likely to be 'honoured' if someone dreams about you in a good way
Agatha Macbeth: What bell?
Mickorod Renard: what bell?
Mickorod Renard: he he
Agatha Macbeth: Snap
Agatha Macbeth muted it ages ago
Bleu Oleander: depends on what the dream was :)
arabella Ella: I find the introduction of the Vietnamese lady rather strange, is there any relevance there I wonder?
Agatha Macbeth: It wasn't that one with the green face was it?
Mickorod Renard: I still have to stay attached to the idea that all the workings of a dream are from the mind of the dreamer
Korel Laloix: She actually felt bad about that she was dreaming negatively about a specific ethinicty... that disturbed her. BUt she could not figure out any reason why.
arabella Ella: Another strange aspect is the chalk markings on the floor when Emma walked out of the room at one stage
Aphrodite Macbain: she was obviously someone important- handling the flowers and attaching them to the horse
arabella Ella: why Vietnamese though I wonder? Although she sounds like a nurturing person
Bleu Oleander: and I feel attached to that too Mick ... except when thinking about whether or not a mind is a singular kinda thing ... it certainly feels like one mind, mine, is the dreamer, but wonder ...
arabella Ella: Not sure what you mean Bleu, Jungian archetypes, previous lives?
Bleu Oleander: well, the idea that the mind is not singular, but rather a collection of different responses, feelings, memories perhaps?
Mickorod Renard: I have a theory Bleu, but its not based on anything scientific. i suspect as a process of elimination,,as aform of logic, there has to be a duel thought system
arabella Ella: mmmm
Aphrodite Macbain: oh?
Bleu Oleander: many different ways to react to the environment ... for example how we are with our families vs how we are at work?
Aphrodite Macbain: Jungian archetypes- horses, flowers...
Mickorod Renard: one side accepting all posibilities and another filtering in rationality
arabella Ella: May I ask - was Sama in the dream both at her computer and on the monitor within the dream itself?
Korel Laloix: Not sure.
Korel Laloix: But she never appeared on the computer screan I don't think.
Mickorod Renard: In my opinion, all the items including the characters are part of the minds own stage play and props etc
arabella Ella: it is interesting to see she may have been in two places at the same time
Agatha Macbeth: All the world's a stage
Korel Laloix: COuld be.. I will ask.
arabella Ella: She was walking too and she was involved with the flowers and cable car etc.
arabella Ella: So when she ordered you and Emma to be delivered she seems to either not have been there within the dream but only a spectator somehow - which means at some stage she moved back to her original position behind the keyboard, maybe
Korel Laloix: The impression I got was she was watching the walk.. not sure though.. but never clarified that... will definitely ask her
arabella Ella nods
Korel Laloix: Odd to think of it that way.
arabella Ella: although we do sometimes dream about ourselves with (sort of) out of body experiences
arabella Ella: watching ourselves
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
--BELL--
Agatha Macbeth: OOBEs
Korel Laloix: Just emailed Sama that question.. will see if she responds.
Aphrodite Macbain: OOBES?
arabella Ella: thanks K
Agatha Macbeth: Out of Body Experiences
arabella Ella: in dreams yes
Aphrodite Macbain: ah right :-)
Mickorod Renard: what I love about dreams is that they seem to show things that one doesnt always see in woken state
Agatha Macbeth nods @ Mick
Mickorod Renard: yes, interesting..as although dreams are not reality as such they are very much part of our reality
Bleu Oleander: conclusions are rare, but the conversations are fun!
arabella Ella: in an attempt to become more sure about what we don't know about reality
Korel Laloix: OK.. Sama laughed at "Kafkaesque" but says "thank you". And she does no think she was in the dream until the Amazon stuff as she was jealous that I was spending time with Emma and she was not.
Agatha Macbeth: Awww
arabella Ella: Oh thanks for the clarification K
Korel Laloix: An interesting thought for sure though.
arabella Ella nods
arabella Ella: so there were three of you including Mum, then the actual ranger and the Vietnamese lady
Agatha Macbeth: This sounds like the beginning of a joke
arabella Ella smiles
Korel Laloix: Yes. me, her mom, Emma, the real ranger, and the Vietnamese lady.
Agatha Macbeth: Where's the Irishman?
Korel Laloix: Then Sama.
arabella Ella nods
Korel Laloix: And the enviro ranger.
Agatha Macbeth: Certainly an interesting cast
arabella Ella: and interesting inclusion of technology too
Agatha Macbeth: Did they find out who had been murdered?
Mickorod Renard: I am glad you are bringing in dreams Korel. I am struggling to remember mine at the moment
Bleu Oleander: must slip out
Korel Laloix: I will let Sama know.. she did not want to bother you with hers.
Bleu Oleander: thanks all ... and thanks Sama :)
Mickorod Renard: bye Bleu, nice to see ya
Agatha Macbeth: Slip well Bleuji
arabella Ella: I love the way the technology comes into the picture and I suspect the black patches which replaced the flowers were similar to when something is erased and replaced with a black square on a monitor
Catrinamonblue Resident: Bye Bleu :)
Korel Laloix: Take care.
Bleu Oleander: byeee
Korel Laloix: Yes.. that is how she described them.
arabella Ella: bye Bleu!
Agatha Macbeth: I always associate black patches with pirates
Korel Laloix: LIke there were digiatlly covered.
arabella Ella: exactly!
Aphrodite Macbain: byee Bleu
Korel Laloix: Take care.
arabella Ella: like you cover peoples faces in the news if you want them to remain anonymous
Korel Laloix: I think that is what she meant.
Aphrodite Macbain: these black patches were rectangularsquare!
arabella Ella: yes
Agatha Macbeth: Hm
Agatha Macbeth: Mr X
arabella Ella: 'blanked out'
Mickorod Renard: I wonder...whether that was the thing that gave clarity to which characters were the ones who were actors?
Korel Laloix: Yes... if I understood her correctly
arabella Ella: Emma was the only actor the way I see it
arabella Ella: she could change roles
arabella Ella: but she could not go over her limited time :)
Korel Laloix: I think so.. but Sama is an actor as well.
arabella Ella: oh
Mickorod Renard: but some were electronicdigital too?
Mickorod Renard: would have to read through again
Mickorod Renard: erk
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Korel Laloix: From what I understand, the flower blackouts were digital.
arabella Ella: a bit like 'through the looking glass' or 'down the rabbit hole' but here it is through tech
Agatha Macbeth: Or via the whirlwind
arabella Ella: what's that?
Agatha Macbeth: Tornado, a la Dorothy
Aphrodite Macbain: Off to Oz
arabella Ella: Ah yes!
Agatha Macbeth: And Toto of course
Mickorod Renard: wonderfully complex though.......in such a way it deserves a good looking at
Korel Laloix: Sama emailed again said she is going to write "Was compared to Kafka today." in her journal... lol.. Under the positive category I guess.
arabella Ella: cool
Agatha Macbeth: Glad I made her day :)
Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Aphrodite Macbain: a nightmarish comparison!
--BELL--
Korel Laloix: I have another one of her dreams for next time if needed as well.
Agatha Macbeth: Look forward to that!
arabella Ella: That's great I hope I can make it!
Korel Laloix: Want it now?
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Agatha Macbeth: Unless Mick starts having his French dreams again
Agatha Macbeth: Do we have time?
Agatha Macbeth: It's after 2
Mickorod Renard: he he, almost the other day ags
Korel Laloix: I am at work and going no where for a bit.
Agatha Macbeth: Well OK then
Mickorod Renard: i have to slip away now
Korel Laloix: Take care.
Aphrodite Macbain: French dreams? Russian dreams? Vietnamese dreams.
arabella Ella: I'm afraid I have to be off
Aphrodite Macbain: Byee Ella
Mickorod Renard: but would love to see it next week
arabella Ella: lovely to see you all and thanks K and please thank S on our behalf!
Agatha Macbeth: Behave yourselves you two
Korel Laloix: So wait until next time.. OK
Korel Laloix: Ciao
Korel Laloix: Will do.
Mickorod Renard: great,,thankyou Kori
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Korel Laloix: Sama sends this video...
Korel Laloix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AywPBEQEJfY
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Aphrodite Macbain: Waves at S through K
Agatha Macbeth: If I open it I'll probably crash, so will save it
Mickorod Renard: thankyou everyone,,lovely to see you all
Korel Laloix: Ciao
Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Catrinamonblue Resident: Bye Mick :)
Aphrodite Macbain: lol Metamorphose
Aphrodite Macbain: waves
Catrinamonblue Resident: I should head out too RL calling :)
Agatha Macbeth: Bye Cat ^.^
Korel Laloix: Take care...
Catrinamonblue Resident: to see you all :)
Aphrodite Macbain: Bye Cat

Agatha Macbeth: Looks like you scared them all off again K :p
Aphrodite Macbain: he he
Korel Laloix: Or Sama did this time.. smiles
Agatha Macbeth: Yeh
Aphrodite Macbain: Good convo tho
Korel Laloix: It is actually fun to hear people discuss things...
Agatha Macbeth: That's a BlakOpal outfit isn't it?
Korel Laloix: Very different sort of thinking for me.
Korel Laloix: It is.
Aphrodite Macbain: very handsome
Agatha Macbeth: So is mine
Agatha Macbeth: Coincidence
Aphrodite Macbain feels a little scuffy
Aphrodite Macbain: also scruffy
Agatha Macbeth: You scruffy?
Aphrodite Macbain: compared to u 2
Agatha Macbeth: You're just not used to modern dress ;-)
Korel Laloix: I like it... a touch of butch... smiles
Aphrodite Macbain: I suppose I should head off. Feel free to visit my plot any time. :-)
Agatha Macbeth ponders a butch Aph
Agatha Macbeth: TC Aphie
Aphrodite Macbain: me? butch?
Korel Laloix: No.. me.. smiles
Agatha Macbeth: It's the natural leader in you that does it
Korel Laloix: I hope so.. grins.
Korel Laloix: Work.. back in a bit...
Agatha Macbeth: Hehe
Korel Laloix: Thanks for the chat.
Agatha Macbeth: MP
Agatha Macbeth: Look forward to part 2 next week
