The Guardian for this meeting was Riddle Sideways. The comments are by Riddle Sideways.

Reflection-Comentary: Below does not mention Playing or As or Being.  There is no direct mention of labs or experiments.  This is probably not a deep PaB session.
However, think about how food is so common and central to our lives, communities, health, culture, etc.  Then think on how much experimentation and using our bodies as labortories goes on daily.  Maybe chats about foods, food preparation, eating customs, mental health after certain food intake, etc. are still the reports and comparisions of our personal experimental results.

                   --BELL--
    Riddle Sideways: hi
Korel Laloix: Osiyo... smiles.. been a while.
Riddle Sideways: long time no seeing
Korel Laloix: Not in SL as much the last few months... but going to be back in it a bit more now I think.
    Riddle Sideways: everything ok?
    Riddle Sideways: good
Korel Laloix: Just some changes going on in my life... for the better though.
    Korel Laloix: How you been?
Riddle Sideways: life changes are always happening
Riddle Sideways: that aging process happening :)
Riddle Sideways: another day older and no wiser

Korel Laloix: I try to at least learn one new thing per day.
Korel Laloix: Even if I have to like check wiki before I head to bed.
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Riddle Sideways: remember using the line: "ok learned a new thing, can I go to bed now"
    Riddle Sideways: sometimes at 10am
Riddle Sideways: did that daily for some years

Riddle Sideways: what did you learn yesterday?
    Riddle Sideways: unless too private
Korel Laloix: I learned about using squid ink in cooking.
Korel Laloix: Not tried it, but it sounds intersting how it is used.
    Riddle Sideways: ah
Riddle Sideways: a quick look on the kitchen shelves does not find any
Korel Laloix: No idea where to get it here either... but will check some online places.
Riddle Sideways: what neat stuff does it do?
Korel Laloix: Evidently turns it black and puts a subtle seafood flavor in..
Riddle Sideways: living by this ocean, it might be available here
Korel Laloix: I get the impression that I might have had this befoe, but not sure.
Korel Laloix: Oh yes, some places to get it on line... but not fresh of course.
Riddle Sideways: freshness has a lot to do with many foods, but wondering about ink
                   --BELL--
Korel Laloix: Not sure... but going to be a doing a bit more cooking in the new few weeks, so looking forward to trying it.
Riddle Sideways: cooking with the heavy cast iron pots and pans turns food black, but not fishy/seafoody
Riddle Sideways: a combo slow cooker/rice cooker/steamer came in kitchen a couple weeks ago
Korel Laloix: True, and I do have a lot of castiron cookstuff here.
Riddle Sideways: been having adventures with it
Korel Laloix: Oh nice.. how does that work for you?
Riddle Sideways: makes rice and steamed carrots at the same time :)
Riddle Sideways: keeps stuff warm also, so the many meal times with different ppl works for hot meals
    Korel Laloix: Sounds lovly.
Korel Laloix: We are actually starting to get some carrots out of the garden now.
Riddle Sideways: the CSA box has lots of carrots the last few weeks
    Korel Laloix: CSA?
Riddle Sideways: hmmmm, forget the letters... it is a farm box of what they have each week
Riddle Sideways: we pay monthly and get weekly at a drop-off place
Riddle Sideways: lots of greens. tired of Kale recipes
Korel Laloix: Oh Ok.. sounds good though.. We have little farmer's markets around to get some things.
Korel Laloix: i like that more than going to a grocery store.
Riddle Sideways: So, yesterday's learning was that carrots do not really BBQ.
Riddle Sideways: burn marks on outside. raw in middle
Korel Laloix: Oh yes they do.. smiles... you just have to do them right.
Korel Laloix: Microwafe them first for a bit.
Riddle Sideways: we have farmer's market most days of the week nearby
    Korel Laloix: Nice..
    Riddle Sideways: or tin foil
Korel Laloix: Another way to do carrots is to run a metal kebab spike through them long ways so the spike heats the inside.
Riddle Sideways: yes, usually cut carrots in 1" rounds and spear them on metal kebab
Korel Laloix: They are a slow cook food fore sure.
Korel Laloix: I lovve them in a slow cooked pot roast, very spicy with potatoes and some other things.
Riddle Sideways: yep, all those root vegetables
Korel Laloix: Do you get fresh yucca there?
Riddle Sideways: no, use to get it when lived south west
Riddle Sideways: we now get a cactus (forget name)
Korel Laloix: The flap prickly pare?
                   --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: yes, that is it
Riddle Sideways: has another name also
Korel Laloix: Yes... anyway... have to get back to RL.. thanks for the chat.
    Riddle Sideways: ok, thanks
Korel Laloix: Have a great day R.
