    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Lucinda Lavender: I have not seen you or anyone in quite a while!

    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Lucinda Lavender: good to see you too
Lucinda Lavender: I found there was hardly anyone here during my friday session so I had asked to stop that hosting time
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
Lucinda Lavender: I would sit by myself and found I felt not quite up to conversing...
stevenaia Michinaga: Since the discussion about the muffet video I posted took on a life of its own, I somehow found a link to an introduction to Phenomonology online that I began reading (578 pages) don;t know if I will ever finish but I never know where this place will take me
    Lucinda Lavender: quite phenomenal!
stevenaia Michinaga: lol, we shall see, only on page 56
stevenaia Michinaga: and am reading it on my iPhone, was great when I was traveling this past week
Lucinda Lavender: where did you go?
Lucinda Lavender: most likely a place that was warm...
stevenaia Michinaga: was visiting my old roommate in Chicago for a day then off to Minneapolis to work on a relative's addition to their home. It was not too warm
stevenaia Michinaga: very warm when I returned home
    Lucinda Lavender: ah!
Lucinda Lavender: someone came to my door...sorry was gone for a second
stevenaia Michinaga: NP, have have you been spending your summer?
    --BELL--

Lucinda Lavender: having a daily meditation time
    Lucinda Lavender: yes!
stevenaia Michinaga: I have had a total lapse of my practice :(
Lucinda Lavender: I have to say the interview about our participation in PaB caught me at a stressfull time so my communication got kind of goofy
Lucinda Lavender: and i was somewhat challenged to express what I needed to say
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
Lucinda Lavender: well you will get back to it I imagine
stevenaia Michinaga: in time I hope
Lucinda Lavender: I get back into things like that when I feel they call to me
stevenaia Michinaga: strange to be avoiding things that feel so good
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes
Lucinda Lavender: I have a book I have been using with a thought for the day...called Ocean of Dharma...
stevenaia Michinaga: perhaps I feel good about other things
Lucinda Lavender: we just passed the center of the year
    Lucinda Lavender: recently
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, it was light past 10:00 in Minnesota, that was nice
Lucinda Lavender: yes! perhaps each in it's own season
Lucinda Lavender: light late here too
Lucinda Lavender: it feels like the world calls when there is a lot of light
Lucinda Lavender: then when the days are short the opposite
stevenaia Michinaga: the strangeness of how time presents itself
    Lucinda Lavender: fast, slow, etc
    Lucinda Lavender: full empry
    Lucinda Lavender: empty
stevenaia Michinaga: tonight there was a wonderful rainbow
    Lucinda Lavender: nice!
Lucinda Lavender: was it off in the east?
stevenaia Michinaga: the south, just a bright piece of it, it really didn;t photgraph well
    Lucinda Lavender: nods
Lucinda Lavender: thinking about how there are different challenges at different ages.
Lucinda Lavender: another aspect of time
    Lucinda Lavender: perhaps.
Lucinda Lavender: read an article about how teens are quite prone to anxiety
Lucinda Lavender: brin pickings I think
    Lucinda Lavender: brain
Lucinda Lavender: they cannot process their fear as well
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, so little of what wieghed on me in the past matters now
    Lucinda Lavender: me too!
stevenaia Michinaga: rather relaxing these days :)
Lucinda Lavender: they can experience ptsd because of this
    stevenaia Michinaga: wow
    --BELL--

    Lucinda Lavender: http://mobile.nytimes.com/2014/06/29...?referrer&_r=1
    Lucinda Lavender: ny times
Lucinda Lavender: it just explained a few memories
    Lucinda Lavender: for me
Lucinda Lavender: I could claim and post our conversation if you feel ok about that
    stevenaia Michinaga: I already have
stevenaia Michinaga: , well claimed it
    Lucinda Lavender: ok great!
Lucinda Lavender: seems like there are many reasons for charge we can put on what we experience
Lucinda Lavender: I was happy to see the front steps of the Met this week in a tv program:)

    stevenaia Michinaga: *go
Lucinda Lavender: And I was happy to hear parts of the Brahms Requiem in a myster program soundtrack
Lucinda Lavender: so just thinking about how happiness of the past replays in the present...
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, I carry happy memories with me a very long time
    Lucinda Lavender: nice:)
Lucinda Lavender: me too I think ...
Lucinda Lavender: I was wondering if you had seen any good movies lately
stevenaia Michinaga: we saw the Grand Budapest Hotel, highly recommended
Lucinda Lavender: that was what I wanted to ask about!!
Lucinda Lavender: because I saw I could rent it now...
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes, do
    Lucinda Lavender: seemed potentially interesting!
    Lucinda Lavender: ok:)
stevenaia Michinaga: you will enjoy it

    --BELL--
stevenaia Michinaga: we saw another ercently but I can't remember (like a dream)
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Lucinda Lavender: well I have not watched a movie in a while. But I thought maybe over the weekend
Lucinda Lavender: memory is an interesting thing...I had a dream recently about it...that I was with a group of people getting ready to go off from each other and remember something "of beauty, connection...or perhaps something difficult" and then bring it back to the group to share.
    stevenaia Michinaga: nice
Lucinda Lavender: it felt useful in some way
stevenaia Michinaga: you remember dreams so well
Lucinda Lavender: well I am not sure...but I had a week in june that was a week of dreams
Lucinda Lavender: then I can go for monthes
