Bruce Mowbray: 's current display-name is "Bruce".
    Zon Kwan: Hi Bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Zon.
Bruce Mowbray: Ever since they took down the schedule, I'm having trouble remembering whose session is whose....
Bruce Mowbray: I think this one is supposed to be agger's?
    Bruce Mowbray: not sure, though.
Zon Kwan: why was it taken down?
    Bruce Mowbray: I'm not sure.....
Bruce Mowbray: perhaps because too many guardians were not making it to their sessions!
Bruce Mowbray: or perhaps no one was showing up, anyway.
Bruce Mowbray: I went to go ahead and claim this session.
Bruce Mowbray: going to go ahead*
Bruce Mowbray: (My Dragon is not fully trained yet, sorry.)
Bruce Mowbray: Also, my ISP seems to be very slow today....
    Zon Kwan: ISP?
    Bruce Mowbray: Internet Service Provider....
    Zon Kwan: hi Agatha
Agatha Macbeth: Hello Brucie and Zon
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, aggers!
Agatha Macbeth: Have I missed anything?
Bruce Mowbray: It is sometimes taking more than 30 seconds for what I type in the chat box to appear....
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh dear
    Agatha Macbeth: Maybe sunday syndrome
    Bruce Mowbray: not really, aggers.
Zon Kwan: is it easy to link dragon to sl?
Agatha Macbeth: These things are always worse on Sunday
Bruce Mowbray: All right... there it is: the last thing I typed took more than 30 seconds....
Bruce Mowbray: . . . and it will probably be posted in the chat box out of order....
Bruce Mowbray: nope, at least it got in the right order this time.
    Agatha Macbeth: Yay
    Agatha Macbeth: How's the dragon?
Bruce Mowbray: ( although it took about 15 seconds to be posted...)
Bruce Mowbray: The Dragon is excellent!
Bruce Mowbray: thank you for asking!
Zon Kwan: how do you link it to sl?
    Bruce Mowbray: Very easily..
    Agatha Macbeth: By the tail?
    Zon Kwan: lol
Agatha Macbeth: Plug him in and watch him go...
Bruce Mowbray: [ Two words! and it took 15 seconds to posted in the chat box!!!]
Agatha Macbeth: And here comes Wollie :)
    Zon Kwan: hi Wol
    Agatha Macbeth: Yay
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Wol!
    Wol Euler: greetings and salutations
    Bruce Mowbray: Happy Holiday!
Agatha Macbeth: Wocher o AVid-y one
Wol Euler: not yet :) one more week
Bruce Mowbray: (or, perhaps you say, "Vacation."
    Bruce Mowbray: In which case,
    Bruce Mowbray: HAPPY Vacation!
Agatha Macbeth: Oh where are you off to?
Wol Euler: London, for a long week
    Agatha Macbeth: Good lord
    --BELL--1315
Agatha Macbeth: A long week as opposed to...?
Wol Euler: a short one, of course
Bruce Mowbray: (again, SL reversed the order of my chat entries, alas.)
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, but what's the difference?
    Wol Euler: an extra weekend
Wol Euler: a week plus a weekend
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh I see
    Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: 9 days instead of 7?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    Agatha Macbeth: I'll be blowed
Wol Euler blows in your ear.
    Agatha Macbeth: Eek
    Bruce Mowbray: {I am not even able to stop Blub from swimming during the breaks..... the response time is too slow.}
Agatha Macbeth: He stopped now :p
    Wol Euler: thank you, bruce
Agatha Macbeth: What's your frame rate Bruce?
Bruce Mowbray: Yeah, about 90 secs after I stopped him.
Wol Euler: (for the wishes, not for stopping Blub)
    Bruce Mowbray: yw, Wol.
Bruce Mowbray: How do I find my frame rate?
    Agatha Macbeth: Shift-Ctrl-1
    Bruce Mowbray: fps = 12.0
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh
Agatha Macbeth: Well that's not too bad
Bruce Mowbray: I think it's more like the ping rate, rather than the frame per second rate.
    Agatha Macbeth: Could be
Bruce Mowbray: my ping is constantly showing red . . . which is probably a function of my ISP.
    Agatha Macbeth: Yeh
Agatha Macbeth: My lag meter is green all the way
Bruce Mowbray: I shouldn't even be in world, perhaps.
Bruce Mowbray: Where can I find like meter same place?
Agatha Macbeth: Aww, I'm glad you are!
    Agatha Macbeth: Um, in firestorm?
    Bruce Mowbray: lag meter*
    Agatha Macbeth: Or LL?
Agatha Macbeth: Firestorm is Avatar>Avatar Health

    Bruce poofs

    Agatha Macbeth: Awwww
    Agatha Macbeth: Poo
    Wol Euler: oops
Agatha Macbeth: Hope that wasn't my fault
Bruce Mowbray: 's current display-name is still "Bruce".
    Agatha Macbeth: Yay WB
Agatha Macbeth: I'd say it's certainly your connection
Bruce Mowbray: Curious, to hear aggers welcoming and orange cloud.
Agatha Macbeth: Oh I can see you perfectly
    Bruce Mowbray: an*
    Wol Euler: me too
Agatha Macbeth: (And there's Berti's notice)
Agatha Macbeth: You and Blub :)
Bruce Mowbray: But I am still in orange cloud....
Agatha Macbeth: Come hell or high water the fish swims on
Bruce Mowbray: yes, I just received Bert's notice, too. Perhaps that's a good sign.
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, to you you are orange, but the rest of us see you normally
Agatha Macbeth: It's just a funny SL thing
Bruce Mowbray: or the cloud..... lofts on.
Agatha Macbeth: Something to do with SSA (or SSB, whatever)
Bruce Mowbray: [Then it seems to be a problem of my ISP.... always slow out here in the country.]
    Zon Kwan: waves
Agatha Macbeth: Sadly it seems so
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye Zon
Bruce Mowbray: ALT - CTRL - R seems to have no effect.
Bruce Mowbray: no, actually, I think it's a local ISP thing . . . not a SL thing.
Agatha Macbeth: No it doesn't any more...
Agatha Macbeth: Baking is server side now, but you can r-click on yourself and tax refresh
    Bruce Mowbray: bye, Zon.
    Bruce Mowbray: "TAX refresh"?
Agatha Macbeth: Wait a minute, has your shape loaded?
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, it's a new thing
Bruce Mowbray: I r-clicked but didn't find that option.
Agatha Macbeth: Don't ask me why they call it that
Agatha Macbeth: Oh r-click then appearance
Bruce Mowbray: NOTHING has loaded except an orange cloud.
    --BELL--1330
Agatha Macbeth: Oddly mine is greyed out
Bruce Mowbray: (once again, my entries arrive in the chat box in reverse order. THIS IS FRUSTRATING!)

And so saying he poofs again

    Agatha Macbeth: Sigh
    Agatha Macbeth: Poor Brucie
    Wol Euler nods.
Agatha Macbeth: What will you be doing in London then? Family?
    Wol Euler: mostly yes
    Wol Euler: well, tourism generally
    Agatha Macbeth: Yay, nice
Wol Euler: meeting my mother and niece there
Bruce Mowbray: 's current display-name continues to be "Bruce".
    Agatha Macbeth: Great
Wol Euler: they have an extensive program arranged
    Agatha Macbeth: I'll bet
Agatha Macbeth: WB yet again Brucie
Agatha Macbeth: Can still see you clearly
Bruce Mowbray: Thank you. I spend it $80 a month on the Internet.... and all I see is an orange cloud.
    Agatha Macbeth: Isn't it frustrating?
    Wol Euler nods.
Bruce Mowbray: Finally! I can see myself and Blub!
    Wol Euler cheers!
    Agatha Macbeth: Woo hoo
    Bruce Mowbray: Go figure!
Agatha Macbeth: I'm inclined to think you're right, it must be the connection
Bruce Mowbray: There is still an enormous lag. . . between the time that I enter the typed chat and the time that it actually appears.
Bruce Mowbray: Well, at least I'll be in one piece for Berti's meditation.
Agatha Macbeth: At least it won't matter while you're meditating
Agatha Macbeth: Unless you do a laggy ommm of course
Bruce Mowbray: I hope you'll be able to visit friends in London, Wol.
Bruce Mowbray: 000000000000000000000000000000010(took over 30 secs for that to appear....)
Wol Euler: some but not all, there isn'T enough spare time in the program for much visiting
    Wol Euler: I'll see Gaya
Wol Euler: and a few college buddies
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh great
    Agatha Macbeth: Hope she's alright
    Bruce Mowbray listens.
    Bruce Mowbray: miss her.
Agatha Macbeth: Haven't seen her for sooo long
Wol Euler: we meet in WoW regularly :)
Agatha Macbeth: Is she an orc? :p
    Bruce Mowbray: Wow!
Wol Euler: no, a blood elf (usually)
Agatha Macbeth: A bloody elf eh
Agatha Macbeth: Are there any wizards?
    Wol Euler: mages
    Wol Euler: or warlocks
    Agatha Macbeth: Same to you
Wol Euler: depending on how you draw the line
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Agatha Macbeth: All comes down to the spells I guess
    Wol Euler nods.
Agatha Macbeth: Hope the weather will be good for you
    Wol Euler: thanks
Wol Euler: and if not, it'll still be good enough
    --BELL--1345
Agatha Macbeth: Wonder what was here before the pavilion?
Agatha Macbeth: I remember Storm's observatory was somewhere nearby
Agatha Macbeth: And the museum hadn't been built when I came
Wol Euler: I htink the observatory is still around, near the village
    Agatha Macbeth: Is it?
Agatha Macbeth: Thought it had gone
Agatha Macbeth: I was trying to remember where it used to be

    Wollie poofs

Agatha Macbeth: Oh now Wol's gone :(
Agatha Macbeth: Man what a day
Agatha Macbeth: Shall we call it a day and head over to Bert?
Agatha Macbeth: Are you there Bruce?
    Agatha Macbeth sighs
    Agatha Macbeth: WB
    Wol Euler: ty
Agatha Macbeth: I was just suggesting we head off to PP, but Bruce seems AFK
    Wol Euler: ah yes
Wol Euler: well he will figure it out when he returns
Agatha Macbeth: He can follow us anyway
    Agatha Macbeth: Yeh
