    Agatha Macbeth: Wollie ♥
Wol Euler: greetings, o purply one
    Agatha Macbeth: Purple haze
    Wol Euler: how's life?
    Agatha Macbeth: Warm
    Wol Euler: heheh
Agatha Macbeth: And bloody wet yesterday
Wol Euler: same here, hot and humid, quite unpleasant
Agatha Macbeth: Thunder all day nearly
Wol Euler: we'll probably get that towards evening then, since it's in France now
Agatha Macbeth: Oh I thought it came our way from France
Agatha Macbeth: Has it turned back?
    Wol Euler: no idea :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Boomerang weather
    Agatha Macbeth: Hm, question....
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi QT
    Wol Euler: buongiorno, qt
    Qt Core: Hi Agatha, Wol

    --BELL--

Agatha Macbeth: What on earth are Lola's tangos?
    Wol Euler: prim boobs
Wol Euler: huge but well shaped
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh
Qt Core: Is that name because they dance ?
    Wol Euler: heheheheh
Wol Euler: I don't know whether avatar physics applies to worn prims
Qt Core: i don't know ias i turn physics off
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, that does make sense
Wol Euler: me too, I found it always unrealistic and annoying
Agatha Macbeth: Apparently you need something called 'appliers' to use them
Wol Euler: not as such, the boobs just attach. What the appliers do is to wrap the texture of your clothing over them
    Agatha Macbeth: Aha
    Agatha Macbeth: Interesting
Qt Core: and why one would do that ? ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: Well that's one question answered this morning
Wol Euler: because otherwise the clothing disappears under them and reappears on the other side. Not realistic.
Agatha Macbeth: Does mesh clothing work too?
Qt Core: realizing that skimpy clothing may even be harder to make than full covering clothing
Wol Euler: no, because mesh doesn't follow your body shape. If it did we wouldn't need these alphas
Agatha Macbeth: So they don't work with mesh?
Wol Euler: you'd need a specially made piece of mesh clothing which was large enough to accomodate them
    Agatha Macbeth: Hm
    Agatha Macbeth: Complicated
Wol Euler: or just use the texture wrapping effect, I suppose
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Agatha Macbeth: Is your friend stll going? Lorac?
Wol Euler: yes, she's still making skins and clothing, and eyes ...

Agatha Macbeth: Been around a long time now
    Wol Euler: as have we
Agatha Macbeth: But we're not a business ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: Unless it's monkey business
    Agatha Macbeth ponders 'PaB Ltd'
    Wol Euler: surely PaB UNlimited?
    Agatha Macbeth: Love Unlimited? :p
Agatha Macbeth: And the Barry White orchestra
Agatha Macbeth: He's dead now isn't he?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Agatha Macbeth: Had a great voice
    Wol Euler: mmhmm :)
Agatha Macbeth: And a big appetite :p
    Agatha Macbeth: Huge bloke

Agatha Macbeth: I often notice German companies have GMBH after their name
Qt Core: a tinier singer and voice, but still nice: http://www.wimp.com/singingcute/
Qt Core: (haven't understood a word, btw)
Agatha Macbeth: Not sure what that means
    Wol Euler: heheheh
    Wol Euler: sweet
    Agatha Macbeth: Schweet
Qt Core: Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, German for "company with limited liability", is a type of legal entity very common in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and other German-speaking Central European countries.
    Wol Euler: indeed
Agatha Macbeth: Ah so like Ltd here then
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Qt Core: and SRL i italy
Wol Euler: but more serious. A british Limited can be started with 50 Pounds capital, if I remember rightly
Wol Euler: a GmbH requires 50,000 euros
    Agatha Macbeth: Erk
Qt Core: basically the one steb lower than having stocks
Agatha Macbeth: They probably function better too :p
Wol Euler: I'd have to know and care more about accountancy law to tell you more than that about it

    --BELL--

Agatha Macbeth: 'It's sad isn't it, but this what accountancy does to people'
Qt Core: formally i have an accountant education (in its lower form it is an high school degree here, even if i toke the IT specialization and strongly tried to forgot the accountant part)
Agatha Macbeth: All done with books in those days
    Wol Euler: heheh
Wol Euler: so, there's an exhibition opening at the museum at noon today
Qt Core: it was funny, if not sad when in the last lesson our accountability teacher asked how many would be/want to be accountants... and zero was the answer
Agatha Macbeth: Yes! Adams is back
Wol Euler: sad for him, surely
    Agatha Macbeth: Adams?
    Wol Euler: Qt's teacher.
    Agatha Macbeth: Why sad?
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh I see
    Agatha Macbeth: Ha
Wol Euler: it's hard to teach something that nobody wants to know about
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Agatha Macbeth: 'Who here wants to be a sewage farm inspector?'
Qt Core: she was a very nice person, and knew that being the IT section most was interested in IT, not accountability per se
    Wol Euler nods.
    Agatha Macbeth: Yeh, makes sense
Qt Core: she evem let us slip almost jokes in our financial analysis when we often added that winning a lottery would solve most of the (fictional) firm issues
    Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: I took a sneak peek at the exhibition, big rock in the middle of the art museum
    Wol Euler: "mountain"
Agatha Macbeth: And there's a lego Abraham and Isaac on the wall :p
Agatha Macbeth: Lego have exceeded my expectations it seems
Agatha Macbeth: Looking forward to hear Adams talking about it
Wol Euler: it's going to be a workshop rather than a lecture ...
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh
Wol Euler: as per his e-mail
Agatha Macbeth: What does that involve then?

    --BELL--

Agatha Macbeth: Still going with the gym QT? Or not?
Qt Core: this week i favored my bycicle, but yes i'm still going
    Agatha Macbeth: Good
Agatha Macbeth: Glad to hear it
Qt Core: i just come home from a bycicle ride before logging in
    Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: You could put a laptop on the handlebars
Wol Euler: I'm glad you are sticking with it
Qt Core: i still have to remember how to do it without hands, i was able to and liked it a lot then a smartphone with voice reading and recognition bay be lighter ;-)
    Qt Core: *may
    Wol Euler: hehehehheh
Wol Euler: if even more dangerous than before
    Agatha Macbeth: Yeh
Qt Core: or even better the google glass
Qt Core: i'd llike the idea of still "living" but being able to take a pic in less than a sec
Qt Core: don't know if/how google glasses do it
    Agatha Macbeth: Google glasses?
    Wol Euler raises an eyebrow.
    Wol Euler: really?
    Agatha Macbeth: Or virtually even
Wol Euler: no, you. You've *really* never heard of google glass?
Agatha Macbeth: Glass yes, not glasses
    Wol Euler: oh, I see
    Wol Euler: fair enough
Agatha Macbeth: Thought it's something you have to wear
    Agatha Macbeth: Or drink
Qt Core: sorry, in italian the glass you wear is plural
    Agatha Macbeth scratches her head

    --BELL--

Agatha Macbeth: Maybe I'm having an Aph moment
Wol Euler: yes, you are :) it's the same thing.
    Agatha Macbeth: Hm
    Agatha Macbeth: Anyway
Agatha Macbeth: I'll go and park myself ready for later
Agatha Macbeth: See you at the rock...sorry mountain
    Wol Euler: have fun
    Qt Core: Bye Agatha :-)
Qt Core: ok, i only need 1550 $ for them + 225 for a decent compatible frame and a few hundreds more for lenses with my prescription... again nothing winning a lottery could help with
    Qt Core: *couldn't
    Wol Euler: heheheh
    Wol Euler: quite cheap actually
Qt Core: maybe if some of its function would be done by a regular smartphone it may be cheaper (and more powerful too)
Qt Core: unless you plan to use it naked you'll always have a socket or a purse on you
Wol Euler: the only ways that it wins (to me) are the possibility of tracking what you are looking at, which a phone cannot, and that you don't need to use your hands
Qt Core: yes, but i'll leave on the glass only the display/filming/shooting pic and audio function (maybe the gyroscopic part too) and the processing in my pants
Wol Euler: yes, good point, it might be able to "outsource" the processing via bluetooth

    --BELL--

Wol Euler: nobody's talked about battery life on the google glass (that I have heard) but I imagine it is a problem
Qt Core: Avoiding these more intensive features, I found my Google Glass battery to last between three and five hours depending on how many hands-free photos I was taking in that time span. Recording a video wiped the battery out in less than an hour after continuously shooting.
Wol Euler: because of the weight issue
    Qt Core: Fron a review
    Wol Euler: hmmm
Wol Euler: better tahn I expected
Qt Core: if they are replaceable small as they are you can bring a couple with you
Qt Core: and you can hook it to an external battery via usb (and look like a Borg even more
    Wol Euler: /las
    Wol Euler laughs.
    Qt Core: then there is the usual usa/europe price issue: amazon.com: 1897 $ amazon.co.uk 1499 pounds amazon.de 2499 euros
    Wol Euler: bah
Qt Core: an 2499 euros i want Brinn to deliver them in person
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: you could fly to new york, have a day in the city, and fly back for that price differencwe
Qt Core: aat current rates 1897 doillars are 1402 euros
    Qt Core: (and 1110 pounds)
Qt Core: ok, i need to go start the day (and buy a new piggy-bank to label Google Glass)
    Wol Euler: indeed )
    Wol Euler: take care, qt
    Wol Euler: enjoy the day
    Qt Core: :-) bye
