It got quiet for a bit and I realized people may be waiting for me to start, so I began...

Adams Rubble: It has been a whirlwind past few weeks
Adams Rubble: I don't have a prepared statement :)
Adams Rubble: I have found it interesting that I am coping better with my RL changes better than the PaB changes
Adams Rubble: and I have spent some time this week looking at myself to find out why
Adams Rubble: In RL I am very, very busy
Adams Rubble: and have a load of things to do before I leave my position
Adams Rubble: In fact I don't think I can get them all done
Adams Rubble: so I do not have time to think much about it
Adams Rubble: whereas in PaB I feel things are moving ahead and I am not
Eden Haiku: This must be difficult, feeling you won't be able to do everything...

Eden Haiku: At first. I felt a lot of anxiety about the change we had to go through...
Eden Haiku: A lot of new things, in a time when I was very busy, as everybody else is too I guess
Eden Haiku: But now that we have the land, a temporary pavillion, a neigborhood, I feel much better. Relaxed even :)

Adams Rubble: Easy to get angry when we feel things are not going are way
Riddle Sideways: Anger of why did this person die when I needed them
Riddle Sideways: to why do they make toothpicks that break

ShinjuJin Resident: there is a gap between what one knows and how one sees themself working that knowledge out into their way of being with the world and others
Riddle Sideways: Denial of that change happening
Eos Amaterasu: manual labor between insight and the earth of specific events knocking us back and forth< Shinju?
ShinjuJin Resident: great way to say it - manual labor, yes
Raffila Millgrove: change that is choice is easier to handle than forced changes where you had nothing to do and would not chose a particular change. I feel like frustration is more often my initial response than...denial.

Raffila Millgrove: if your house burns down or someone dies.. you don't really deny it.. you stand about in shock.

Adams Rubble: In PaB denial may have been earlier when we were getting a free ride that could not go on
Riddle Sideways: there is often a quick "this could not have happened ..."
Adams Rubble: we all knew in the back of our minds there would be change
Eden Haiku: I felt I was drifting away and this change shocked me back in :)
Raffila Millgrove: oh that is good to hear Eden.
ShinjuJin Resident: I have felt a little relieved by not having that feeling

Eden Haiku: I realized I valued the people I met here and was going to lose the connection we couldn,t find a way to go with this wave of changes...

Bruce Mowbray: I noted in a previous session that PaB seems to have experienced a "pruning" -- and the removal of old branches might have evoked new energies of growth.
Bruce Mowbray: I surely feels like that, for me.

Eden Haiku: RL is a parallel universe as welll
Raffila Millgrove: I subscribe to parallel realities .. giving the example of at the time the "reality" of our world was.. the world is flat, yet others, a tiny minority, had to keep their own reality quiet.. denied for a long time. I think that happens more than we realize.

Eden Haiku: Change, we never like change in a way. The reality of impermanence. Yet, we like change too don't we?
Adams Rubble: change helps us detach
Eden Haiku: It's the feeling we are losing something we don't like
Adams Rubble: and, as Eos reminded us, it helps us to remember the sun and water
ShinjuJin Resident: I've noticed that change makes me want to fortify and since I can't justify that directly I see myself start doing it less consciously, trying not to need things or people as much, etc. I don't like that feeling very much, seeing that. Especially since I think of myself as a person who adapts
ShinjuJin Resident: and strives to be open, loving, etc
Adams Rubble: Yes, interesting about the feeling that we adapt well

Eden Haiku: One of the things that saddened me the most in our big change, was the fact that noone could adopt Bella the cat...

ShinjuJin Resident: A dear friend had an unspeakable loss a few weeks ago, and it threw into question everything that we'd ever talked about before... made everything seem really trivial for a while

ShinjuJin Resident: but I watched this miraculous person ask for help
ShinjuJin Resident: and receive it... in big and open ways
ShinjuJin Resident: it really blew my mind that she could function at all
ShinjuJin Resident: but she included all her communities and friends...amazing
