Bleu Oleander: we've been pretty busy
Bleu Oleander: not enough time these days!
Bleu Oleander: but a great class

Adams Rubble: Online courses seem to need more time than the regular classes i remember taking

Bleu Oleander: especially all the reading

Adams Rubble: do you find yourself getting side tracked in your course by reading things not in the course but relating to the course?
Bleu Oleander: oh yes
Bleu Oleander: but that is a fun aspect of it
Adams Rubble: yes
Bleu Oleander: the tangents are fun too
Adams Rubble: yes but then can't get everything else read :)
Bleu Oleander: I know, I know :)

Adams Rubble: The poetry course has me focused on modern poets. I most recently got side ie tracked with Jack Kerouac's Dharma Bums

Adams Rubble: I did not know much about the beat poets
Bleu Oleander: oh yes interesting
Adams Rubble: I am taking a Modern Poetry online class
Bleu Oleander: nice
Adams Rubble: Halfway through William carlos Williams' Patterson
Adams Rubble: I am swamped :)

Adams Rubble: I just received an email that week 4 has begun and I am only halfway through week 3 :)
Adams Rubble: the instructor says there are 10,000 people enrolled in the course

Bleu Oleander: its amazing isn't it?

Adams Rubble: it is good we are not all in the same lecture hall :)

Bleu Oleander: the new one will be announced Oct 15 I think
Bleu Oleander: and then will be installed
