    Qt Core: Hi Korel
    Korel Laloix: Morning.
Korel Laloix: YOu scared them all away?.. smiles
    Qt Core: ;-)
Korel Laloix: I think there are usually more on for this session. Is that right?
Qt Core: one or two, usually but it seems i'm fond of void places in these days: yesterday i went to my amateur astronomer club but forgot we.they were at another place for yesterday meeting ;-)
Korel Laloix: I have done that before for my running club.. but luckily I don't mind running alone... smiles
    Korel Laloix: brb
Qt Core: whenever i'm exercising i'm quite grumpy so it surely would be an alone activity ;-)
Korel Laloix: Running is still probably my only addiction.
Korel Laloix: But slowly decreasing how much...
Korel Laloix: Already having join issues from over doing it.
Qt Core: if one has to choose addiction not one of the worst

    --BELL--

Korel Laloix: Oh I agree.. smiles... Sometimes I worry about the amount I drink as well. But I do need the calories...lol
Qt Core: never really considered/went to search for how much calories alchoolic beverages have
Korel Laloix: Sama and I both have ridiculous alcohol tolerances. but she quitting for the pregnant thing.
Korel Laloix: A glass of wine has 85 dietary calories I just read.
Qt Core: i never "followed" a pregnancy but i feel we italians are less obsessed wuth the absolutely no alchool during it
Korel Laloix: Sama is the same way, does not feel there is a 'need' to quit.
Qt Core: for a random website i'm reading now beer is quite worse than wine in this case
Korel Laloix: But she wants to make an effort.
Korel Laloix: neither of us are huge beer drinkers.
Korel Laloix: Wine is out main thing but Sama loves vodka, go figure.... lol
Qt Core: from same website half a glass a day is ok and wine in cooking too as alcohol evaporates
Korel Laloix: I am far more for tequila though.
Korel Laloix: We do cook with wine quite a bit.
Korel Laloix: Adds a nice color if nothing else to certain things.
Qt Core: then the articles ends telling that alchools do terrible things to the child in all stages of pregnancy... qyute the abrupt turnaround...
Korel Laloix: They consider me a Fetal Alcohol Syndrome baby.
Korel Laloix: When you look at the epidemiology of the issue, the research is inconclusive past two units per day if I recall. It has been a while since I read up on it.
Qt Core: yes, same number the article i read cited
Korel Laloix: But after two, the effects are decently documented.
Qt Core: and then is probably if you keep up to that level each day, not just a glass here and there
Korel Laloix: It is an intersting topic for sure.
Korel Laloix: I think Sama just wants an excuse to take some time off drinking, or is afraid of the all the possible weight gain.
Qt Core: i need a recipe with red wine in it, i opened a bottle a few days ago for another recipe and have to use it now ;-)
Korel Laloix: Doing modeling all these years has made her a bit more weight conscious than most I think.

    --BELL--

Qt Core: and all in all as i said to people insisting that i *have* to learn to drink wine and others alchools no one ordered it not even my doc ;-)
    Korel Laloix: http://www.realsimple.com/food-recip...l-stew-oranges
    Korel Laloix: This looks fun.
Qt Core: and the bottle i have is just a Pinot noir
Korel Laloix: I grew up drinking and smoking, sort of a hazard from living with my mother... frowns.
Qt Core: boyj my parents did both (they did quit smoking between my and my sister birth) but i never started neither, especially smoking, never ever tried
Korel Laloix: My mom got me started so I would help her shoplift cigarettes... sort of sick and sad really.
Qt Core: sometimes i get a little offended i my father stopped smoking for my little sister birth and not for me ;-)
Korel Laloix: lol.... It is very hard to quit. took me years.
Korel Laloix: My mom never really quit, and it killed her.
Korel Laloix: Not sure she wanted to quit though.
Qt Core: i'm told he just threw away the one he was smoking and never lighted another
    Korel Laloix: Very expensive habbit.
Korel Laloix: I wish it was that easy for me...
Korel Laloix: An everyday struggle for like three years.
Qt Core: you know, i think i'm really going to make that recipe per tomorrow lunch
    Korel Laloix: The lentil one?
    Qt Core: yes
Korel Laloix: It does look fun... I am looking at it as well.
Korel Laloix: I am the cook in teh family really... so I get to chose most of the time... smiles
Qt Core: i may have to substitute something easier to find around here for the chorizo, but i think i only lack it and the oranges
Korel Laloix: Should be a quick trip to the store.
Qt Core: yes, i have to do the weekly grocery shopping this afternoon (11am here)
Korel Laloix: I do love looking for new things and cooking.. And Sama appreciates it. We have a good thing, Sama does all of the fix-it things around the house and I do the cooking. It works.
Korel Laloix: Sounds like perfect timing.
Qt Core: and even with the sausage is less meaty than most sunday lunch options i was considering (had quite some meat in past day so a change is good)

    --BELL--

Korel Laloix: I eat a lot of meat, probably more than I should. But with the running, it is good to have.
Korel Laloix: My brother keep out freezer full of game, so I rarely buy any though.
Korel Laloix: So not getting all the additives from store bought stuff.
Qt Core: i was thinking that that way you only get pollution in it (that you get in store meat too) and that made me think about this news: http://www.nhs.uk/news/2016/05May/Pa...pollution.aspx
Qt Core: summary: the benefit of exercising are more than the damaga done by the pollution you breath when you do it (if you do it in a polluted area)
Korel Laloix: Luckily for me the air here is pretty good except during plowing and harvest seasons.
Qt Core: I really like how simple, clear and informative the article is
Korel Laloix: Preventative Medicine is actually a pretty good publication. They do some good work.
Qt Core: milan is quite polluted as most of the plains in northern italy, one of the worst areas in Europe
Korel Laloix: I can imagine, i have the impression it is very much heavey industry there.
Korel Laloix: Here is it more agriculture.
Korel Laloix: OK... going to try and get back to sleep.
Korel Laloix: Thanks for teh chat.
Qt Core: ok, ty Korel, sleep well
Korel Laloix: We will have to compare the lentil results.. I think I will make it as well.
    Korel Laloix: ciao bello
