    Adams Rubble: :)
    Adams Rubble: Hello Eliza :)
Eden Haiku: Snow powdered everything here. There is more light !
Riddle Sideways: Here it was a slow gentle rain all night
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Eliza
    Eden Haiku: Welcome Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Adams, Riddle, Eden :)
    Eliza Madrigal: thank you
Adams Rubble: snow is beautiful but I am content to wait :)
Adams Rubble: nice to have the long autumn
Riddle Sideways: nice to see rain
Eden Haiku: Yes, snow means boots :(
Eden Haiku: loves the sound of rain
    Riddle Sideways: uggs
Adams Rubble: snow means shoveling :(
    Riddle Sideways: oh fun
Eden Haiku: How is the weather in Miami Eliza?
    Riddle Sideways: :(
    Eliza Madrigal: not snowing :(
Eden Haiku: Our weather chit-chat is weathering down
    Adams Rubble: :)))
Eliza Madrigal: hot, a little breeze though... just in from a longer walk than usual because it is quite pleasant
Eden Haiku: Or is it watering down?
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

    Vishnu’s dream

    Adams Rubble: falling down
Eliza Madrigal turns up her complexity to see Eden
Eden Haiku: has a children song in her head
Riddle Sideways:has almost nothing in head
Eliza Madrigal: snow means never having to say you're sorry
    Eliza Madrigal grins
    Eliza Madrigal: oops kettle, brb
Eden Haiku: Row row row your boat, gently down the stream
Adams Rubble: unless you park in the place your neighbor just shoveled out
    Eden Haiku: Merrily merrily merrily
Riddle Sideways: Life is But a dream
    Adams Rubble: Vishnu
    Adams Rubble: s dream
Riddle Sideways: then says 'sorry' for finishing your song
Eden Haiku: Life is but a dream (imagining Adams's neighbor face when he realizes she parked in his shoveled place)
    Eden Haiku: giggles at Riddle
    Eliza Madrigal: back, laughing :)
    Eden Haiku: Vishnu?
    Riddle Sideways: the dream
    Eden Haiku: loves Vishnu
Eden Haiku: In his Rama's avatar especially
Eden Haiku: He incarnated to fight the demons :)
Eden Haiku: Embodies the essence of "dharma": doing one's duty...
Eliza Madrigal dreamed last week some time, that someone made a mural on my wall and wrote at the top "Nama Ramaya"... but I'm not so well versed so have been just keeping ears open
Eden Haiku: What a dream Eliza!
Eliza Madrigal: it was, have been thinking about it lightly since then

    --BELL--

    Eden Haiku: Hare Rama
    Eden Haiku: Hare Rama
Eden Haiku: Rama Rama, Hare Hare
Eliza Madrigal: namaj ust means 'name' ?
Eden Haiku: no no, nama is more, can't remember...
Eden Haiku: Ramaya sounds like "Ramayana" which is the main poem in sanskrit telling the story of Rama
Eden Haiku: Looking for my Indian civilization dictionnary. What else was on the wall Eliza, drawings?
Eden Haiku: Sorry for talking on the bell :(
Eliza Madrigal:a dancing figure, but not detailed...the person was decorating the simple drawing with swaths of paint, using a cape
    Eden Haiku: wow!
Riddle Sideways: painting with a cape, nice
Eden Haiku: Dictionnary is on my lap. Namah yes, "in the name of "
    Eliza Madrigal: ah, thank you
Eliza Madrigal: I listened to someone read the Ramayana in SL several years ago, but don't remember as much as I'd like
Eden Haiku: Like in "Om Namah Shivaya": adoration of Shiva
Eliza Madrigal: nice, and the performance artist/painter was in celebration, play
Eden Haiku: The whole storyline is based in a promise in the Ramayana.
Adams Rubble: If you haven't seen the video "Sita Sings the Blues", you should do so :)
Adams Rubble: It is on YouTube [here is the link to the movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzTg7YXuy34]

Adams Rubble: nd in other places
    Eliza Madrigal: makes note
Eden Haiku: Yes, I saw it thanks to you Adams. Lovely video!
Eden Haiku: You have vivid dreams Eliza!
    Adams Rubble: yes
Eliza Madrigal: lately again, probably due to the dream sessions, immersing
Adams Rubble: Sita would like to join Rama there :)
Eden Haiku: The cape reminds me of Harry Potter's invisibilty cape.
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Riddle Sideways: have watched it several times and versions. thanks to Adams
Eliza Madrigal: more than one version?
Eliza Madrigal: which should I see?
    Riddle Sideways: not really
    Riddle Sideways: parts
Adams Rubble: just one version but there are clips of parts
Riddle Sideways: put shorter parts on youtube
    Eliza Madrigal: ok, thanks
Adams Rubble: try to see the full version--I think it takes about a half hour but it is worth it
Eden Haiku: It could highlight parts of your dream Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) it felt unusualbecause I've been reading Paradise Lost, one would think I'd be dreaming of angels
Eden Haiku: Would have liked to see the SL version of the Ramayana;)
Eden Haiku: There are angels in hindu tradition too. Dakinis :)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Adams Rubble: there are some scenes from the Ramayana in the Ellora exhibit at cave 17
Eliza Madrigal: Still up Adams? maybe I will do more exploring
Eden Haiku: Ah yes, Ellora could inspire your dream deciphering Eliza :)

    Surviving Thanksgiving

Eden Haiku: You all survived Thanskgiving, than God!
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    Eden Haiku: giggles
Adams Rubble: spoiler alert; it was the monkeys over the demons
Eliza Madrigal grins and notes spoiler
Eden Haiku: loves Hanuman, the great white monkey :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving :) I stayed with George while kids were with family
Eliza Madrigal: we ate noodles and watched The Big Sick :)
    Riddle Sideways: ate toooooo much
    Eden Haiku: smiles at Riddle
Eliza Madrigal: sounds lovely... that's what you're supposed to do
Riddle Sideways:watched "Get Out" , which almost nobody liked, until discussed afterword
Eliza Madrigal: wondering about that one

    --BELL--

    Zing Zing Zoom Zoom

Riddle Sideways: spoiler... the racial remarks are maybe not... when looked at them from the end
Eliza Madrigal: it seems a film that needs discussion... confusion about what category it belongs in
Eden Haiku: Oh, a horror movie? Can't watch these. I scream too much...
Riddle Sideways: yes, there were several screams during
Riddle Sideways: funny. daughter put it on, would not turn it off, forced us, then lead discussion
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eden Haiku: Oh my!
Eliza Madrigal:your daughter is helping us keep with current important awarenesses, remembering the list I first saw when you posted it here in PaB, have seen or read several items by now
    Eden Haiku: Nice:)
Riddle Sideways: list? a list? not remembering
Eliza Madrigal: let me see... I think it was in comments or in a Tuesday chat... had things like the documentary '13th' on it
    Riddle Sideways: oh ok
Riddle Sideways: just need a bump to get the needle unstuck
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Riddle's daughter is an up to date young artist! And Eliza do read our chat logs as Adams was suspecting last week :)
Eliza Madrigal: I hesitate to come to sessions sometimes because I enjoy reading the chats
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: We love having you here Eliza :))
Eliza Madrigal: you guys are very musical
    Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Eden Haiku: Yes, sometimes Riddle turns the chat into a rap :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
Eden Haiku:And we go with the flow
Eliza Madrigal: me too, I catch the tide and sway in my seat
Riddle Sideways: many times things Adams says need to be answered with lyrics from the songs
Eden Haiku: swaying tro the rythms

    Eliza Madrigal: yes
    Eden Haiku: True :)
Eden Haiku: We all bring our own sounds to sessions :)
Eden Haiku: Rain and shoveling snow. a dream with Rama and a cape
Riddle Sideways: "I go with the flow, wherever it goes, and right now it is right out of here"
    Eliza Madrigal: blendings and harmonies
    Riddle Sideways: nez
    Eden Haiku: giggles
Eden Haiku: Sometimes I sit laughing at my laptop, delighted by the chat going silly places

    Eden Haiku: Yes, skipping!
Eden Haiku: I thought getting in the shower and singing for an hour was Adam's project for the day:)
Riddle Sideways: the backup singers sound just like a Disney chorus
    Eden Haiku: They do!
    Eliza Madrigal: a good practice
Adams Rubble wonders "What have I done?"
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
Eliza Madrigal: this is the song I first thought of when hearing 'zoom'... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uU0vdBGRXns

Eden Haiku: Yes, Sunshine must have appreciated the African flavor of Jain's "Makeba" song :)
Riddle Sideways: the Jain referral gave a hour of very nice youtubing
Eliza Madrigal: me too, kept listening!
Eden Haiku: Music, art and devotion endure through centuries of desintegration
Riddle Sideways: now the Como and Ella with take up a couple hours

Why would the US block Perry Como?

Eliza Madrigal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jefI8T4lnwg (the earlier link didn't play in US, so here is another Perry Christmas one for log readers)

Eden Haiku: Dreaming of a White Christmas now :)
Eden Haiku: Is Perry Como some spy?
