Wol Euler was guardian for this session.
Qt Core: Good morning Wol
Wol Euler: good morning, qt!
Wol Euler: back in your winter plumage, I see :)
Qt Core: ;-) i really could trim my inventory to a few dozen items
--BELL--
Qt Core: your outfit had a very interesting alien feeling during rendition
Qt Core: now it is "just" cute ;-)
Wol Euler: I bet it did, all the sculpties would have looked quite odd
Qt Core: yesterday i rediscovered a web page that feel very pab friendly and remind me of the slight absurd zen aphorism: http://www.ufunk.net/en/photos/giuseppe-colarusso/
Wol Euler looks
Qt Core: (i love the glasses, the hammer and the last one)
Wol Euler: oh yes
Wol Euler: I laughed out loud a few times
Wol Euler: wonderful images
Qt Core: i find the sink one pretty scary, it make me think about depression/despair
Wol Euler: hmh
Wol Euler: let me look at that again
--BELL--
Wol Euler: I can see what you mean, it does have a strangely unhappy look to it
Wol Euler: whereas the rest are more simply funny
Qt Core: (noticing it is the darkest one too)While the last two ones make me think about all this datagate stuff and our effort to protect privacy ;-)
Wol Euler: thre are actually some really good ideas in there
Wol Euler: the spray can with RGB sliders is superb
Qt Core: they are very realistic
Wol Euler: and the little can of coffee exists in Japan already :) you can buy them hot from vendor machines on the sidewalks
Wol Euler: I never tried one when I was there, which I now regret :)
Qt Core: they sell something like that around here too, both in the cold and hot variant, but not in a cofee-cup shape
Wol Euler: no, not in a cup. that is true :)
Wol Euler: mind you, the metal edge would cut your lips harshly
Qt Core: if you go to the photographer homepage you'll understand why he see the wrrld in a strange way: http://www.giuseppecolarusso.it ;-)
Wol Euler: heheheh
Wol Euler: ah, such fun on a Sunday morning. thank you!
Qt Core: yw (and at the Improbabilita' link there are more weird pics too!)
--BELL--
Wol Euler: *laughing*
Wol Euler: the balloon carrying the rose (with thorns) is like a metaphor for life, isn't it?
Qt Core: i don't get it, sorry
Wol Euler: well, the risk is part of the joy :)
Wol Euler: sooner or later, the stem will hit the balloon and it will pop
Qt Core: then the ballon dog and the cactus
Wol Euler: mmhmm
Wol Euler: dangerous attraction
Wol Euler: those are great!
Qt Core: who would be hurt more, the dog that would die or the surviving cactus ?
Wol Euler: the cactus would be sadder longer
Wol Euler: and probably feel a lot of guilt :)
Qt Core: wondering if after taking the shot and not needing the dog ballon anymore he popped it with the cactus ;-)
Wol Euler: hmmmmmm
Wol Euler grins.
Wol Euler: it's a good question
--BELL--
Wol Euler: perhaps he did and photographed the result, but found it too shocking
Qt Core: today i woke already tired... as i had a dream about having trouble during my daily canoe commute to work!
Wol Euler: hahahahaah
Wol Euler: that would be a treat
Qt Core: the issue being that there were no more canoe to rent at the beach (why i don't have my own one is a mystery)... in the end i used the tube (obviously bringing my own paddle with my (oblviously even if didn't own a canoe i had my own paddle...)
Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: (tube = subway? like in London?)
Qt Core: yes, forget the word subway and don't like "underground"
Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: good :)
Wol Euler: and it's clear that you would take the paddle with you!
Wol Euler: you might be able to get a canoe back home after all :)
Wol Euler smiles.
Qt Core: as usual i awoke when the absurdity of managing a paddle in a crowded subway car become too much
Wol Euler nods.
Qt Core: strangely there were some wonderful scenery (my dreams usually have a very limited "drawing distance"
--BELL--
Qt Core: Ok, time to go... checking where i left the paddle
Qt Core: bye Wol, have a nice sunday
Wol Euler: you too, qt
Wol Euler: take care, paddle well
