It had been a while since Autumn had visited us, and it was great to see her dropping in again. I was wondering about the fluid motions with which we moved around, but then I realized she had a skating AO enabled.

Storm stopped by, and commented on my hair. After a few days I had exchanged my mohawk punk version to an older hippy version with long copper colored hair down to my waste. The prim hair had quite an elegantly flowing motion, if I dare say so myself :-).

We continued to talk about various topics, and the conversation came
to the way in which it seems easier and faster to fall for someone in
SL than in RL. Storm recounted some of his earlier experiences.
Storm Nordwind remembers having this problem on SL.
Storm Nordwind: That is one reason for keeping my head shaved now!

Storm Nordwind: There was a phase here on SL 18 months ago when I had a whole string of people falling in love with me.
Storm Nordwind: This was real stuff too

Storm Nordwind: People sening me RL photos and addresses
Storm Nordwind: And all because I give myself to everyone whom I talk too
Storm Nordwind: People are just not used to someone who likes to get to know them
Storm Nordwind: It is like the person who just listens to someone
Storm Nordwind: And then that person says they are a great conversationalist!
Storm Nordwind: I helped people to discover themselves
Storm Nordwind: and they felt really good
Storm Nordwind: BUT…
Storm Nordwind: what happened was…
Storm Nordwind: they associated that feeling good whith me
Storm Nordwind: just because I had helped them to rediscover their true potential
Storm Nordwind: What do you do when this happens?
Storm Nordwind: Well…
Storm Nordwind: It is difficult
Storm Nordwind: But most of all…
Storm Nordwind: You have to continue to be true to yourself
Storm Nordwind: And perhaps you can help people see that too
Storm Nordwind: I have something I believe in with any relationship…
Storm Nordwind: and that is complete openness and complete honesty
Storm Nordwind: in other words:
Storm Nordwind: no lies and no secrets
Storm Nordwind: very hard to do
Storm Nordwind: most people say No Lies is ok
Storm Nordwind: But they stop when I suggest No secrets!
Storm Nordwind: The things is that you cannot - CANNOT - steal someone’s time
Storm Nordwind: If someone stole money from me, I could get more
Storm Nordwind: If someone stole possessions from me, I could get more
Storm Nordwind: But if someone steals time from me, I can NEVER get it back
Storm Nordwind: And they cnnot give it back to me either.
Storm Nordwind: So you must be firm and honest with these people
Storm Nordwind: Because it will waste their time
Storm Nordwind: and if you let them believe that you are interested even in a very small way
Storm Nordwind: they will waste their time
Storm Nordwind: and you will be stealing it from them
