The guardian at this meeting was Pema Pera and the comments are his.
That evening, I was able to attend the zazen session led by Dakini. I came in a bit late, so I quietly took one of the few remaining seats. After the 20-minute session, Dakini rung the bell and said in text:
Dakini Rhode: By this merit may all beings attain enlightenment
Everybody in turn thanked Dakini for having created this environment and leading the sessions.
Dakini Rhode: it was wonderful sitting here with you, and it helps all our practice immensely
Several participants said goodbye and went their way. Often some others would linger for a while and talk with each other, either about practice or about whatever would come up. This time, however, Dakini made another suggestion:
Dakini Rhode: anyone who has time is welcome to stay for tea
Pema Pera: I’d love some tea ;>)
Dakini Rhode: :-) you got it!
Ecstasy Dreamscape: sounds wonderful
Hotaru Myoo: that would be fantastic
Types Sideways: Im in
Pema Pera: green tea okay?
Dakini Rhode: the finest :-)
Ecstasy Dreamscape smiles and laughs softly..”an impromptu party”
Ecstasy Dreamscape: cool
Types Sideways: :)
Pema Pera: ice tea okay, Ecstasy
Dakini Rhode: yes, please come and see the teahouse, Ecstasy!
Ecstasy Dreamscape: sounds great
Pema Pera: very cool tea house!
Ecstasy Dreamscape: this is really nice
Dakini Rhode: :-)
Dakini Rhode: Hello, Ben!
Ben Weissberg: hello im ben
Pema Pera: hi Ben!
Pema Pera: nice to meet you!
Dakini Rhode: I put down a tiny cushion 4 u Types!
Pema Pera: there is a tiny’s mat here to my left, Types
Dakini Rhode: ah, I see you brought your own cushion
Types Sideways: LOL
Hotaru Myoo: nice work!
Types Sideways: want a chair Mongo?
Dakini Rhode: cool!
Mongo McGinnis: comfotable
Both Types and Mongo had arrived as tinies, and both settled in quickly with the rest of us.
Dakini Rhode: you guys look relaxed
Mongo McGinnis: nice hair pema
Types Sideways: :)
Dakini Rhode: Our tea ceremony tradition here is…
Dakini Rhode: everyone helps themselves
Types Sideways: :)
Dakini Rhode: You touch the tea service to get a cup of chawan - green tea :-)
Dakini Rhode: find the chawan in your inventory, and “wear” it
Dakini Rhode: talking tea
Ecstasy Dreamscape: what a lovely way place to be after a crazy hectic day
Thorberg Nordlicht: the tea doesn’t make me levitate any more; am I now immune to the effect? or has the tea changed :-)
Hotaru Myoo: haha
Hotaru Myoo: what is in this tea Dakini?
Pema Pera: just you wait Thor
Ecstasy Dreamscape chuckles
Dakini Rhode: this is the finest green tea :-)
Ecstasy Dreamscape: Ben would you like some tea?
Thorberg Nordlicht: ah, now it kicks in…
And yes, as I had expected, Thorberg started to float . . .
Dakini Rhode: there he goes haha
Mongo McGinnis: i have to take care of a beagle for a couple mins awk
Dakini Rhode: it’s uplifting :-)
Ecstasy Dreamscape: lol
Dakini Rhode: whatever the error is in that script, we’ve had so much fun with it
Thorberg Nordlicht: now i can’t stop typing…
Thorberg Nordlicht: ah, ok now
Dakini Rhode: writing a book?
Ecstasy Dreamscape: much profundity!
Ecstasy Dreamscape: lol
Thorberg Nordlicht: no, i wasn’t typing in the chat window; my avi’s hand just kept typing
Dakini Rhode: I just stand up and sit back down
Ecstasy Dreamscape: fly/stop fying gets me out of the “sl spell” usually
Dakini Rhode: that’s good to know - I’ll try next time
Dakini Rhode: people ask me… ” do you know what the other people are doing while their avatars sit in zazen? “
Dakini Rhode: I have no clue actually
Pema Pera: Ben, you were born today? I’m very impressed you already made it here to the tea house!
Dakini Rhode: wow, Ben! how did you find us?
The door opened, and a new visitor appeared.
Dakini Rhode: hello, Maharshi!
Pema Pera: Hi Maha!
Maharshi Grun: Hello
Pema Pera: come join us!
Maharshi Grun: Am I interrupting anything, I just came to wander, really
Hotaru Myoo: Hiya Maha
Hotaru Myoo: Perfect timing
Dakini Rhode: we’re having a tea party
Pema Pera: you’re not interrupting, Maharshi!
Pema Pera: just sit down where you like
Dakini Rhode: you’re welcome to join us :-)
Maharshi Grun: I see, thank you
Dakini Rhode: please have some tea if you like
Maharshi Grun: Thank you for the offer
Dakini Rhode: we’ve been sitting in zazen, got thirsty :-!
I took the opportunity to ask for volunteers for the next day’s evening session. I would fly to Japan that day. And while I had a replacement for the afternoon session, in the form of Maxine in Guardian role for the very first Guardian session, I had not yet found anyone for the evening session.
Pema Pera: Types and Thorberg, btw, would either of you be able to come here at 7 pm SLT tomorrow evening?
Types Sideways: tomorow?
Pema Pera: for our PaB session, to hold the fort?
Pema Pera: I will be over Alaska
Pema Pera: close to Isen
Pema Pera: but without internet connection . . . . .
Pema Pera: on my way to Japan
Pema Pera: from NYC
Types Sideways: Im honored Pema
Pema Pera: we need someone to be here as greeter
Types Sideways: but not a teacher
Pema Pera: Thank you very much Types!
Pema Pera: oh no
Pema Pera: just greeter
Pema Pera: nobody here is a teacher
Pema Pera: (except perhaps Dakini)
Dakini Rhode: Least of all Dakini
Pema Pera: hahahah
Thorberg Nordlicht: Yes, I can plan to be here at 7 PM tomorrow night, also
Dakini Rhode: Not a teacher at all…
Pema Pera: wondering how you would react ;>)
Pema Pera: great, thank you both!
Pema Pera: Ben en Maharshi, we get together here four times a day, believe it or not, 1 am, 7 am, 1 pm, 7 pm . . . .
In my memory I went back to what seemed like a distant past by now, the day it all started here for our Play as Being program, four and a half weeks earlier.
Pema Pera: Ecstacy, you’ve been here on April 1, haven’t you?
Pema Pera: the first day we started?
Pema Pera: Do I remember that correctly?
Ecstasy Dreamscape: yes I was here
Ecstasy Dreamscape smiles
Maharshi Grun: Is this a retreat of sorts? Sesshin, I think it’s called in Japanese traditions?
Pema Pera: that was the very first PaB session, Play as Being
Dakini Rhode: yes Maha, this is a retreat of sorts
Hotaru Myoo: I want to Play!
Pema Pera: http://playasbeing.wordpress.com/
Ecstasy Dreamscape: I’m happy it has continued
Pema Pera: I remember, Ecstasy, because you came in the morning session, really the very first one
Pema Pera: I thought that was a great omen
Pema Pera: a truly ecstatic beginning!
Ecstasy Dreamscape smiles and laughs, “yes it was”
Dakini continued to answer Maharshi’s questions.
Dakini Rhode: we also have zazen - zen sitting meditation practice - here every day at 6PM SLT
Maharshi Grun: I see, Shikantaza or Koan practice?
Dakini Rhode: It’s nondenominational, everyone is welcome to sit together and do their own practice
Thorberg Nordlicht: Shikantaza at 6 PM
Dakini Rhode: We have Soto zen and Rinzai zen monks sitting with us
Dakini Rhode: sometimes we get a koan :-)
Maharshi Grun: Monks or priests?
Dakini Rhode: monks
Types Sideways: and no momk momks
Maharshi Grun: Genuine monks? What tradition by chance?
Types Sideways: no monk monks
Hotaru Myoo: a few monk(eys)
Hotaru Myoo raises hand
Pema Pera: hahaha
Dakini Rhode: RL monks
Maharshi Grun: I was under the impression that monks were few and far between in Japan, due to the Meiji laws allowing them to marry
Dakini Rhode: All I know really is that Isen is Soto zen and Bunan is Rinzai
Dakini Rhode: Everyone is welcome to do their own meditation practice, we meet here to support each other
Maharshi Grun: So then, are those of you assembled here now, are you all Buddhists, or interested meditators?
Dakini Rhode: I provide the space and time
Dakini Rhode: very diverse group
Maharshi Grun: I see, thank you for the clarification
Dakini Rhode: i guess the common tie is - we like to be here together
Types Sideways: even advaita
Ecstasy Dreamscape: i am not strictly any particular practice, just eastern spiritual generally speaking, a traveler on the path best describes me
Hotaru Myoo: that’s a nice way of thinking Ecstasy
Ecstasy Dreamscape: me smiles and nods
Pema Pera: Yes, Ecstasy, and it is so nice to have people walking just in here passing by on their path!
Pema Pera: so fitting
In turn I asked Maharshi about his angle.
Pema Pera: what is your main interest in meditation, Maharshi?
Maharshi Grun: My main interest as to why I meditate, or my method of meditation?
Pema Pera: either or both :>)
Maharshi Grun: I meditate to attain the results of no-results, my method is endlessly questioning, ‘Who?’
Pema Pera: like a koan?
Maharshi Grun: Yes, the Chinese refer to it as a ‘hua tou’, or ‘word head’
While I was waiting for Maharshi’s next answer, in true texting style I started another thread announcing our forestry plans.
Pema Pera: Actually, Ecstasy and Hotaru, have you heard about our plans to make real paths here in a large forest?
Maharshi Grun: What ever arises, ask who it is happening to
Pema Pera: do you happen to know the chinese characters for that, Maharshi?
Types Sideways: is there an answer as to who?
Ecstasy Dreamscape: mm, no hadn’t heard
Ecstasy Dreamscape: sounds wonderful
Maharshi Grun: So, when hugry, ask ‘Who is getting hungry’ and silently hold onto the sense of ‘who’
Hotaru Myoo: me either
Hotaru Myoo: to paths or characters
Hotaru Myoo: :)
Pema Pera: wonderful practice Maharshi!
Pema Pera: as to the forest, somehow I started to buy land
Pema Pera: and more land
Pema Pera: and more land
Pema Pera: and Storm asked me why
Pema Pera: and I said I don’t know
Hotaru Myoo: wow
Pema Pera: felt right
Hotaru Myoo: parallel lives
Pema Pera: and then I suddenly found the answer
Pema Pera: aha!
Dakini Rhode: /chuckles
Pema Pera: creating a forest
Pema Pera: after all Storm is a great landscaper
Hotaru Myoo: oh I want to help!
Ecstasy Dreamscape: wow I love that idea
Pema Pera: so we now have a whole sim’s worth of land
Pema Pera: please do Hotaru
Hotaru Myoo: ty
Pema Pera: spread out over at least six sims
Hotaru Myoo: woot
Pema Pera: with tentacles in all directions
Ecstasy Dreamscape: omgosh
I summarized our vision.
Pema Pera: when it’s done, you can walk for hours
Pema Pera: and we want to make little retreat huts
Pema Pera: for anyone interested
Pema Pera: a tree house or cave
Pema Pera: or near a waterfall
Pema Pera: whatever
Pema Pera: and this morning
Pema Pera: I got an even wilder idea . . . .
Pema Pera: haha
Pema Pera: to extend the growing forest tentacles
Pema Pera: all the way to
Hotaru Myoo: like Basho
Pema Pera: the Western sea
Ecstasy Dreamscape laughs “it has legs”
Pema Pera: hahaha
Hotaru Myoo: like Aspens
Ecstasy Dreamscape: nice Hotaru
Hotaru Myoo: :)
Ecstasy Dreamscape: I was looking for Aspens the other day
Pema Pera: after we talked I bought another chunk of 7,000 sqm in Solbim
Hotaru Myoo: rl or sl?
Pema Pera: only one sim away from the coast
Ecstasy Dreamscape: sl
Pema Pera: sl
Hotaru Myoo: so kewl
Ecstasy Dreamscape: neat o
Hotaru Myoo: Do you have a lm?
Dakini Rhode: isn’t that amazing that we so often ask the question RL or SL?
Yes, it is, and we keep getting a feeling of surprise, whenever we reflect on it.
Pema Pera: Solbim is like a horse’s jump away from Rieul where we are (like a chess piece move):
Pema Pera: two west one north
Thorberg Nordlicht: If you’re paying for a whole sim’s worth of land, have you consider just buying an Island?
Hotaru Myoo: yes
Pema Pera: yes and rejectd, Thor
Pema Pera: my roots are here
Pema Pera: in Rieul
Dakini Rhode: this is near the welcome center, near the spiritual nexus of Mieum and Rieul
Thorberg Nordlicht: I understand “my roots are here”; I keep my original lot just for sentimental reasons :-)
I returned to what Maharshi had been speaking about.
Pema Pera: Maharshi, I really like your approach
Pema Pera: have you been doing this for a long time?
Maharshi Grun: About a year
Pema Pera: Mieum and Rieul have years of spiritual practice history
Dakini Rhode: Newbies ought to be welcomed by something wonderful in SL
Pema Pera: in SL that is like a millenium in RL
Pema Pera: For example,
Pema Pera: when I vivited Assisi
Hotaru Myoo: and oldies too
Hotaru Myoo: :)
Pema Pera: I was amazed at what you could feel there
Types Sideways: :))
Dakini Rhode: yes indeed, Hotaru
Pema Pera: and other such places as well
Ecstasy Dreamscape: lol
Hotaru Myoo: yes…back to the sl/rl
Hotaru Myoo: which presents the actual?
Hotaru Myoo: can it be separated
Pema Pera: Maharshi, do you find it easy to constantly focus on your practice throughout the day?
Ecstasy Dreamscape: well…
Pema Pera: no separation probably, Hotaru
Pema Pera: almost none
Dakini Rhode: regarding that Hotaru, it is a complex and interesting question
Ecstasy Dreamscape: i saw in a profile and put it in my profile “rl, sl , it’s all life”
Types Sideways: cant keep up, bye all
Maharshi Grun: Distractions arise, but whenever they do, they are simply quelled by that sense of ‘Who’
Dakini Rhode: SL gives an extra dimension to the qustion of what is real?
Maharshi Grun: It all passes as if on auto-pilot
Ecstasy Dreamscape: bye TS
Pema Pera: beautiful, Ecstasy!
Mongo McGinnis: hi i am back
Mongo McGinnis: bye types
Pema Pera: bye Types!
Types Sideways: bye
Dakini Rhode: wb Mongo
Hotaru Myoo: bye Types!
Just when Types was leaving, Mongo returned after his afk spell.
Ecstasy Dreamscape: HI M
Mongo McGinnis: i think icaught up
Hotaru Myoo: Hi Mongo!
Mongo McGinnis: I was told that Mongo means protector of children bye a few people named Mongo not the blazing saddles Mongo
Dakini Rhode: If the SL experience becomes a memory, it seems it would be no different from a “RL” memory
Hotaru Myoo: exactly!
Pema Pera: Maharshi, on our web site http://playasbeing.wordpress.com/ you will see what we are doing here, in between our SL sessions, in RL: we focus on integration more than meditation, inviting meditation to be invoked by integration, rather than the other way around — a rather novel if not radical approach ;>)
Ecstasy Dreamscape: hmmm, well sl stirs my emotions as deeply at times as rl
Hotaru Myoo: Love that
Pema Pera: yes, Dakini, my memories of RL and SL are virtually identical
Hotaru Myoo: thank you Pema
Hotaru Myoo: yes!
Thorberg Nordlicht: “virtually” identical; was that a pun?
Pema Pera: no
Pema Pera: wish it had been
Pema Pera: haha
Pema Pera: really no pun
Thorberg Nordlicht: an unintended pun
Maharshi Grun: How do you define ‘integration’, Pema?
Pema Pera: many times a day being reminded, basically — as opposed to sitting for half an hour a day and forgetting for the rest
Pema Pera: very simple
Pema Pera: so the practice we are experimenting with is like a 1% time tax:
Pema Pera: every fifteen minutes 9 seconds;.)
Pema Pera: details on the web site I mentioned
We discussed the complementarity of various approaches.
Dakini Rhode: I think both are valuable Pema, no opposition
Pema Pera: yes, Dakini, definitely
Pema Pera: but for modern people who complain “I have no time”
Pema Pera: integration gives them no excuse, haha
Dakini Rhode: longer sitting and short practice may be different, but no opposition
Maharshi Grun: I see, that’s very commendable
Pema Pera: I agree Dakini
Pema Pera: doing either one well invites the other
Pema Pera: like a table cloth, you can start pulling at either end
Pema Pera: and in due time everything will fall on the ground
Dakini Rhode: or both :-)
Dakini Rhode: stretchy tablecloth
Pema Pera: and the table will be liberated
Maharshi Grun: My only complaint is that time is more or less an illusion caused by memory. There’s no need to remind one’s self every so many seconds. As refinement sets in, all will be ever-present.
Hotaru Myoo: yes
Hotaru Myoo: that is a nice approach
Ecstasy Dreamscape: hmmm
Hotaru Myoo: to the continuum
Dakini Rhode: Pema, many of today’s teachers are recommending something very like your approach
Dakini Rhode: Meditation practice for the modern human :-)
Pema Pera: probably driven by the fact that traditional methods don’t work very well, by and large, in the modern world . . .
Ecstasy Dreamscape: evolution
Dakini Rhode: We can’t sit in a cave and meditate for years, at least not often :-)
Pema Pera: any practice is ultimately a trick . . . to let us see what we already are
Maharshi Grun: What is the difference between the modern and ancient world? So far as I can tell, desires are timeless, ignorance is the same then as it is now. The variables change, but the forumla remains the same.
Pema Pera: ultimately yes, but in practice there is the question of skillful means of how to get traction
Dakini Rhode: Take the old Tibet for example, where the society supported the 10% or so who were practitioners
Dakini Rhode: In today’s society we all work
Dakini Rhode: Also in the societies of the past only the minority was literate - now the majority is educated and can read!
Dakini Rhode: More people can practice now, not just the lucky 10%
We continued comparing different angles, all of them valid. Maharshi stressed the important point that deep down nothing has changed in human nature in the last few millennia. And I stressed how different time may need different ways to bring out those same sharable insights.
Maharshi Grun: The Buddha taught meditation to the untouchables as well as the nobles, the workers and the workless. Why is it that his means don’t work amongst the workers now, and did amongst the workers then?
Pema Pera: yes, Dakini, we just have to adapt the old methods qua technique even though the core stays the same as Maharshi stresses
Dakini Rhode: yes
Pema Pera: the workers then did not have cell phones and emails
Dakini Rhode: I’m agreeing not debating
Hotaru Myoo: haha
Pema Pera: clarifying
Pema Pera: playing jostling honing
Pema Pera: questioning
Pema Pera: wondering
Hotaru Myoo: sifting
Pema Pera: drifting
Pema Pera: cloudless
Pema Pera: starless
When I later asked Hotaru she indeed recognized my implicit Frank Zappa reference.
Dakini Rhode: I’m pointing out what may be different about our circumstances, not the core
Hotaru Myoo: poofing
Maharshi Grun: I have heard some say that the rebirth is outdated, and that it isn’t critical to Buddhism. What do you all think?
Dakini Rhode: what do you think, Maharshi?
Maharshi Grun: I think that existence is all-pervading and ever-present, what exists cannot cease to exist. There is no question, ‘to be or not to be’ because there must be a questioner.
Pema Pera: that is a very interesting way to put it, Maharshi — I like to say “drop what you have and see what is left over, which is what is”
Dakini Rhode: I like to say “nothing happens”
Pema Pera: no time (pity that Types ain’t here ;>)
Maharshi Grun: Those are both excellent replies. Nothing happens because everything happens. Once you drop all, you gain all. Both are the same.
Hotaru Myoo: poofing again
Dakini Rhode: :-) different ways to try to say the same thing
Dakini Rhode: Hotaru, was it the tea?
Hotaru Myoo: lol
Dakini Rhode: :-)
By now Hotaru wanted to know what was really going on here, and I was more than happy to zoom in on that question.
Hotaru Myoo: So guys..
Hotaru Myoo: tell me more about the Palying as Being
Hotaru Myoo: Playing
Pema Pera: directness
Hotaru Myoo: (it’s the tea)
Dakini Rhode: I like Pal- y - ing
Pema Pera: philosophical terms are nice
Pema Pera: to get in perhaps
Pema Pera: but direct doing is what counts
Hotaru Myoo: yes!
Pema Pera: if you really can stop every quarter of an hour
Hotaru Myoo: gotta have the action part
Pema Pera: even if you have NO CLUE as to what you are doing
Pema Pera: don’t know Heidegger from a hole in the ground
Pema Pera: but just stop
Pema Pera: that will shoot holes in your idea of reality
Hotaru Myoo: I tie a little string
Pema Pera: even if you have no idea what ideas you had
Hotaru Myoo: something similar
Pema Pera: I prefer not to talk too much about ideas
Dakini Rhode: some insight is bound to creep in :-)
Pema Pera: just do
Pema Pera: see what happens
Pema Pera: yes!
Hotaru Myoo: kewl
Pema Pera: The reports that all of us have given on the blog I mentioned are amazing too me
Pema Pera: much more effective that I could have thought
Pema Pera: in cutting through descriptions
Pema Pera: just do it!
Hotaru Myoo: k
Pema Pera: seems to be a recipe that works
Pema Pera: then, once we have material
Hotaru Myoo: will report the findings soon
Pema Pera: experimental notes
Pema Pera: then THAT can be the basis
Pema Pera: the manure
Pema Pera: out of which to let grow further insight
Hotaru Myoo: detritus
Hotaru Myoo: my favorite topic
Pema Pera: and THEN can we compare with great philosophical summaries of the ancients
Hotaru Myoo: yat ta hey
Pema Pera: again, no disagreement, clarification ;>) of how I see this
Hotaru Myoo: speaking from a man who watches the cosmos
Pema Pera: yes, please report Hataru, in due time
Hotaru Myoo: k
Pema Pera: Hotaru
I corrected my misspelled a into an o, but that was not immediately clear at first.
Hotaru Myoo: with that…I make my departure
Hotaru Myoo: ?
Hotaru Myoo: k
Hotaru Myoo: hehe
Pema Pera: good travels Hotaru!
Hotaru Myoo: Hata
Dakini Rhode: Hotaru, different topic - have you thought of scultping in SL?
Pema Pera: haha
Hotaru Myoo: instead of Hota
But the fire fly caught on quickly.
Pema Pera: yes
Dakini Rhode: maybe ask another time
Pema Pera: gotcha hota
Hotaru Myoo: yes
Dakini Rhode: need scuplture for a garden I want to make
Hotaru Myoo: but I’m having too much fun discovering many other things
Ecstasy Dreamscape: take care H
Dakini Rhode: :-)
Hotaru Myoo: so my building has taken a back seat
Hotaru Myoo: I have started a painting series
Hotaru Myoo: I’ll tell you about it sometime
Hotaru Myoo: sorry to run..
Dakini Rhode: bye
Hotaru Myoo: be well
Pema Pera: a running fire fly ? ? ?
Hotaru Myoo: cu you soon!
Hotaru Myoo: lmao
Pema Pera: c u !
Pema Pera: an a-less fire fly
Hotaru Myoo: g’nite all!
Hotaru Myoo: wait!
Hotaru Myoo: If you would like to join me…
Hotaru Myoo: I am ging to a dance party for angels
Hotaru Myoo: (themed)
Now THAT was an invitation! How could one possibly turn down an invitation to join a dance party for angles? I was way behind in writing my blog but what could I do?
Ecstasy Dreamscape: oh cool
Hotaru Myoo: you all are welcome to join me
Pema Pera: but for those wingless among us . . .
Mongo McGinnis: have a good night
Hotaru Myoo: I have halos for all!
Dakini Rhode: do angels need wings?
Ecstasy Dreamscape: i’m in
Hotaru Myoo: no
Hotaru Myoo: just halos
Dakini Rhode: anybody need wings?
Pema Pera: oooo, very tempting Hotaru . . . . . but alas, I have to finish my astro homework for my SL astrophysics organization before I leave tomorrow early for Japan . . . . I wish I could come!!! — hmmmmm, would it be rude to come for only five or ten minutes???
Hotaru Myoo gave you Dance - White Halo.
Angel Wings v0.4.8 whispers: Psykes FastFly Script v0.4.8 - use “wings off” and “wings on”
Angel Wings v0.4.8 whispers: Detached from avatar
Hotaru Myoo: k
Ecstasy Dreamscape: sorry i was interrupted by an im. i need to go home in a moment for a sec and then to the party. Pema you should go even only for a few
Well, clearly I had no choice.
Hotaru Myoo: who is coming?
Ecstasy Dreamscape: me
Hotaru Myoo: Ecstasy,,
Hotaru Myoo: I can’t get your profile up
Dakini Rhode: do you have a LM?
Pema Pera: thanks, Ecstasy and Hotaru!
Ecstasy Dreamscape: hmm
Ecstasy Dreamscape: i need to run for a sec
Hotaru Myoo: ah
Ecstasy Dreamscape: ty Pema
Pema Pera: I can tp you ecstasy
Ecstasy Dreamscape: oh cool ty
Dakini Rhode: will someone tp me please?
Pema Pera: sure
Pema Pera: as long as I get there :.)
Hotaru Myoo: I tell you what
Hotaru Myoo: I’ll go …tp
Ecstasy Dreamscape: see you in a couple, i will let you know when ready
Pema Pera: please do!
Ecstasy Dreamscape: bye for now
Pema Pera: c u soon
Pema Pera: nice to meet you here Maharshi!
Dakini Rhode: Namaste
Mongo McGinnis: cu
Pema Pera: Please come back whenever you feel like!
Maharshi Grun: Nice to meet you as well, thank you for the offer.
The tp offer from Hotaru came in and I quickly found myself amidst the angles. And to make a long story short, I stayed for more than an hour, after all. So far I haven’t had much exposure to events like that, and I enjoyed myself tremendously. All of us angles were making the most wild yet graceful dance movements, with elements of break dance and ballet combined in a completely synchronized way no less . . . . In addition the atmosphere was fun, light hearted and cheerful yet leaving room for more thoughtful remarks intertwined with the fun. In many ways, the mood reminded me of our PaB encounters — with the main difference being the incomparably better dance machine, compared with our simple chocolate disco repertoire . . .
Finally, before logging out, I went over to Storm’s Quan Yin oracle. Something told me that I might be tempted to start from the Western Sea end, the following morning, in scouting for property . . . and the poem I drew was both inspiring and esthetic in itself:
The rain stops and the air clears.
Taking a deep breath, everything smells good!
Everything feels good - time to journey onward.
And onward I would journey, the next morning :-)
