    --BELL--1330
Qt Core: today i thought i somewhat should tech-detox me a little: while speaking with the docs it take me a while to remember that i have a retina in my eyes, not only apple products owner (in front of theirs) ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe doctors are not into that kind of thing
Agatha Macbeth: 'Doctor the invisible man is here'
Qt Core: well, they should, with a tabled nearby they could always have all the info/tests results/texts they ever need
Agatha Macbeth: 'Tell him I can't see him'
    Qt Core: ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: Oldie but goodie
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe we all should be cyborgs like Steve Austin
Qt Core: loved thhat series (and Jeamie Sommers too
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, I preferred her to be honest ;-)
Qt Core: Always tought that Oscar was a little evil (and now i'm thinking Bill from Kill Bill remind me a little about him)
Agatha Macbeth: Bet they would cost a lot more than six million these days
Agatha Macbeth: Hm, don't know Bill I'm afraid
Agatha Macbeth: Did they kill him or does he escape?
Qt Core: that would spoil the two movie wouldn't it ? ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: They didn't make it yet?
Qt Core: both of them are out, the first just celebrated ten years these days
    Agatha Macbeth: Wow
Agatha Macbeth: Doesn't seem that long
Agatha Macbeth: Wonder if Tarantino will ever make a comedy film?
Qt Core: i saw the second one on tv two days ago, tyhat's why i have it ready in my mind
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
Agatha Macbeth: Is Uma in the second one too?
Qt Core: yes, same cast, it is just a story split in two movie, not a standard sequel (like the lord of the ring trilogy)
Agatha Macbeth: Bit like Back to the future
    --BELL--1345
Agatha Macbeth: I have those on DVD
Qt Core: haven't seen them since a few years
Agatha Macbeth: Oh I think they are great heh
    Agatha Macbeth: Hey McFly
Qt Core: yes, and Doc is just great
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh yes
Agatha Macbeth: Christopher Lloyd is it?
    Qt Core: yes
Agatha Macbeth: Yes he's wonderfully manic
Agatha Macbeth: Remember him in Taxi
Qt Core: one of the few actor that whatever character is playing is always the same... and good
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Agatha Macbeth: Is there still new Star Trek stuff coming out?
Agatha Macbeth: Oh wow Wollie is on
Qt Core: beside the movie from a couple months ago ? yes, they are talking about a new series, with Worf as captain
    Agatha Macbeth: Good lord
    Agatha Macbeth: Wollie ♥
    Wol Euler: a
    Qt Core: Hi Wol

Wol Euler: just got in from work
    Agatha Macbeth: Of course
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh my
Wol Euler: hardly worth going to bed now, so much to do before I fly tomorrow
    Agatha Macbeth: What time?
Wol Euler: well, train actually for the first leg, I have to be at the station at 10:30 or so
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh Mr Porter
    Agatha Macbeth: All packed?
    Wol Euler: of course not
    Wol Euler: not even started
    Agatha Macbeth: Tut tut
Wol Euler: I have to get my shirts from the laundry tomorrow morning still
    Agatha Macbeth: >.<
Agatha Macbeth: Think you need a maid
    Wol Euler: it's true
Agatha Macbeth: Ah the joys of travel- how I don't miss them
    Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: back in a sec
Agatha Macbeth: She's gone to start packing...
    Wol Euler: ha
Qt Core: just read the wiki page about Lloyd... how it is possible he not only never won an oscar but was never nominated!
    --BELL--1400
Wol Euler: gone to get a drink and a sleeping tablet
    Agatha Macbeth: Really?
Agatha Macbeth: Look on the bright side you can always sleep on the plane
    Wol Euler: true
Agatha Macbeth: Just as long as the pilot doesn't follow your example
Wol Euler: oh they do :)
Wol Euler: it's all computer-controlled anyway
Qt Core: there always is the inflating autopilot ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: Hmm
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes!
Agatha Macbeth: Don't call me Shirley
    Wol Euler chuckles.
Agatha Macbeth: God that film is hilarious
Qt Core: one of my all times favorites
    Agatha Macbeth: Me too
Qt Core: side by side with top secret
Agatha Macbeth: One to put on when you're feeling down
Agatha Macbeth: The second one too
    Agatha Macbeth: With Kirk
    Wol Euler: captain?
    Agatha Macbeth: Yep
    Wol Euler: oh
    Agatha Macbeth: Not Douglas
Agatha Macbeth: How long is the flight?
Wol Euler: six hours or so, not bad
    Agatha Macbeth: Wow
Wol Euler: no, wait, must be 7
Wol Euler: new york is six
Agatha Macbeth: Good job you're not going to australia
    Wol Euler: heh
Agatha Macbeth: Wonder if it's snowing there yet?
Qt Core: i've read it snowed a little in New York yesterday
    Agatha Macbeth: Erk
    Wol Euler: wow
Qt Core: or the day before
Wol Euler: I'd better check that, I was planning to take shoes and an autumn coat
Wol Euler: rather tahn winter gear
    Agatha Macbeth: 5C here atm
Agatha Macbeth: Man I hate winter
    Wol Euler: awww
Wol Euler: I dislike this half-and-half that we get here
Wol Euler: too humid still and not cold enough
    Agatha Macbeth: Half and half?
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh
Wol Euler: neither winter nor not
    Agatha Macbeth: Transition
Wol Euler: except taht it never transits
    Agatha Macbeth: 0.0
Qt Core: rain and 12C today, very sunny and 19 yesterday. around here
Wol Euler: it gets halfway, says "eh what the hell" then stays there for a few months
    Agatha Macbeth: Hmm
Wol Euler: the humidity in the air makes it very unpleasant, the chill cuts right through your clothes
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh dear
Qt Core: snow above 700 meters announced for tomorrow
Agatha Macbeth: Are you near the Alps QT, or am I thinking of Turin?
Qt Core: a little furthewr awaym but from milan you see them and you could be there in a couple hours
Agatha Macbeth: That must be wonderful
Qt Core: and 700 are just the hills before the "real" alps.
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Agatha Macbeth: Any mountains near you Wollie?
    --BELL--1415
Qt Core: yes, they are and monday we had a very clear and sunny day with a wonderful sight of the Alps
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
    Wol Euler: lovely
Agatha Macbeth: None by me at all :(
Wol Euler: mountains, no. But some pretty good hills
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh yes
Wol Euler: the nearest real mountains are the alps, in Zurich
Wol Euler: which is about 90 minutes by train, closer than Munich
Agatha Macbeth: Can you see them from where you are?
Wol Euler: um, that's 90 minutes in ICE :) fast train. About 500km away
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh
Agatha Macbeth: Need good eyesight then
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: you can see them from Munich thouigh
Agatha Macbeth: Anyway, hope everything goes well when you arrive
    Wol Euler: thank you
Wol Euler: it'll be stressful for the first few days, getting Dad into his nursing home
    Agatha Macbeth sighs
Wol Euler: (he got a place, and we have to jump to it. They decide the timetable)
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Agatha Macbeth: At least it will be pressure off your mother
Wol Euler: yes, I'm very glad
Agatha Macbeth: I just hope she doesn't replace it with worry about him not being there
Wol Euler: she will, of course
    Agatha Macbeth sighs
Wol Euler: plus the guilt of having sent him away
Agatha Macbeth: It's a no win situation
Wol Euler: instead of dying in his service as the marriage vows said
Qt Core: is it far from where she lives ?
Wol Euler: quite close, a half hour in the car
Wol Euler: so she could (and will) see him every day
    Agatha Macbeth: That's good
Qt Core: she could see him without the stress of "managing" him, then
Wol Euler: yes, we were lucky, it was his (our) first choice of place too
    Wol Euler: right
    Wol Euler: well
Wol Euler: how are you both?
    Agatha Macbeth: Well
    Agatha Macbeth: Well
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
Qt Core: almost good and tired
    Agatha Macbeth smiles
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe we had better let Wol get on with packing then?
    Wol Euler: :)
Agatha Macbeth: You have eaten I hope?
Wol Euler: yes, while we were talking
    Agatha Macbeth: Good
Agatha Macbeth: Priorities must be maintained
    Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: You won't be at PP tomorrow then?
Wol Euler: no, I'll either be still travelling or fulfilling family duties
    Agatha Macbeth: Ok
    --BELL--1430
Wol Euler: I'll try to get to a few 1pm's
Qt Core: renounced to triangulate 1pm pacific time to european tome back to east coast time...
Agatha Macbeth: That will be 4PM there?
    Wol Euler: it'll be 4pm , yes
Agatha Macbeth: Not too bad then
Wol Euler: yes, but that is teatime.
Agatha Macbeth: You could do the 7PMs too
    Wol Euler: O.O
    Wol Euler: can't miss teatime
Agatha Macbeth: That would be 10
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Wol Euler: that wold be possible, yes. mum is usually in bed at that time
    Wol Euler: or shortly thereafter
    Agatha Macbeth smiles
Wol Euler: anyway, I must go
Agatha Macbeth: Take care, pack well
Wol Euler: lovely to see you both, and hope that we meet again soonishly
    Agatha Macbeth: Me too
    Wol Euler: ♥
    Agatha Macbeth: Safe journey
    Wol Euler: bye for now
    Wol Euler: thank you
    Qt Core: :-)
