The Guardian for this meeting was Yakuzza Lethecus. The comments are by Yakuzza Lethecus.

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey wol
    Wol Euler: hallo yaku
    Yakuzza Lethecus: and hey eos
Wol Euler: something of a disappointing turnout
    Wol Euler: hello eos!
Eos Amaterasu: Hi Wol and Yaku
    Yakuzza Lethecus: dissappointing turnout ?
Wol Euler: only you sitting here :)
    Wol Euler: schlechte besucherzahlen
Eos Amaterasu: this is probably a greater than average turnout
Yakuzza Lethecus: ah, actually i was on another sim and waited on the map for a green dot to appear on the mainmap since the session always has overtime there
Wol Euler: the mornings are mostly pretty lonely these days, I'll admit
    Eos Amaterasu: many evenings also
Eos Amaterasu: that's okay - this is a shareable special spot
    Wol Euler nods.
Yakuzza Lethecus: well and this session usually fills a bit over time till zen got to set up
    Wol Euler: also true
    --BELL--
    Eos Amaterasu: whew!
    Eos Amaterasu: awesome 90 seconds
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Wol Euler: what happened, Eos?
Eos Amaterasu: realized it was a time to finally "stop" after coming home from work
    Wol Euler: ah :)
Eos Amaterasu: and started into a wide-awake panic
    Eos Amaterasu: so to speak
    Wol Euler listens.
Eos Amaterasu: some internal dialogues, rehearsing talking
Eos Amaterasu: a bit of appreciating torrents of perception
    Wol Euler nods.
Eos Amaterasu: good to have such a place to come to :-)
Yakuzza Lethecus: 's current display-name is "Yaku".
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    Eos Amaterasu: wb, yaku
Wol Euler: these pauses are a great trigger for ... well, various good things actually
    Wol Euler: wb yaku
    Yakuzza Lethecus: thx
Eos Amaterasu: how were your 90 secs?
Wol Euler: for some reason, yaku, you make me think of Hamlet.
Eos Amaterasu: indeed for a while Yaku was not to be
    Wol Euler: hehehehehe
Eos Amaterasu: and the back to be
    Wol Euler: well done :)
    Eos Amaterasu: *then
Yakuzza Lethecus: i was thinking of the logfile and actually i can still post it and started my desktop in between and settled there since thats also where i have the logfiles
Wol Euler: yes, you'd still get the log - only if somebody else claimed it would it not go to you.
Eos Amaterasu wonders how Yaku makes Wol think of Hamlet
Wol Euler: Eos, my 90 seconds were also a bit of slowing-down, i remembered going with Lila and Aggers to the Zendo near Daikini's place after last night's session and sat for ten minutes
Wol Euler: and somehow just remembering that had some of the calming and centering effect of doing it
Eos Amaterasu: nice to have a Zendo so easily available :-)
Wol Euler: Lila was sad because the last group that regularly used it has been disbanded, not enough interest
    Eos Amaterasu: hmm...
Yakuzza Lethecus: a question that bother me a bit is if i get asked in what i would be particularly good and i actually don´t consider myself in anything really good, should or shouldn´t i say it
    Wol Euler: hmmmm, tricky :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: well actually i did say that :P
Eos Amaterasu tries to imagine when or why he would ask Yaku such a question
Wol Euler: sounds like a job interview question, or speed dating :)
Wol Euler: which is also a kind of job interview
    Eos Amaterasu: love interview
    Wol Euler: yeah
    Wol Euler smiles.
Eos Amaterasu: on the other hand I've recently realized that it is at each person's highest inspiration that we meet best
Bruce Mowbray: 's current display-name is "Bruce".
    Wol Euler: hello bruce
    Eos Amaterasu: hi Bruce
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey bruce
Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Yaky, Wol, Eos!
    Bruce Mowbray: Yaku*
    Bruce Mowbray: sry.
Wol Euler: eos, could you unpack your statement a little please?
Wol Euler: [13:26] Eos Amaterasu: on the other hand I've recently realized that it is at each person's highest inspiration that we meet best ((for bruce))
    Bruce Mowbray: TY.
Eos Amaterasu: where you're most highly motivated and inspired is where there is also lots of openness and energy
Bruce Mowbray: What does it mean to "meet best."
Eos Amaterasu: but lots of unkown
    Bruce Mowbray: oh, thanks.
    Eos Amaterasu: so not owned
    Eos Amaterasu: so open space
    --BELL--
Wol Euler: oh, I misread taht :) I thought you said "highest ASPiration", related to self-presentation and speed dating :)
    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
    Bruce Mowbray: :0
Yakuzza Lethecus: Well a job interview is a form of speed dating too.
Wol Euler: meeting somebody in full "flow" of ability is probably unfair to them, as they'll never live up to it in normal life :)
Eos Amaterasu: we catch the little moments of 'full "flow" of ability' ....
Wol Euler muses on buried cultural assumptions.
Zen Arado: 's current display-name is "Zen".
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey zen
    Zen Arado: Hi all
    Eos Amaterasu: heizen
Wol Euler: being asked to state what you are especially good at (Yaku's subject earlier on) is difficult for people brought up in the Protestant tradition to answer, because it feels like boasting
Wol Euler: which is beaten out of us on an hourly basis from age 0 onwards
    Wol Euler: hello zen!
    Bruce Mowbray: Good point, Zen....
    Bruce Mowbray: Yo, Zen-ji!
    Zen Arado: I didn't say anything :)
    Wol Euler smiles.
Eos Amaterasu: Bruce has caught the pointless point
    Bruce Mowbray: ha ha!
    Wol Euler nods.
    Wol Euler: the zeitgeist spoke.
Zen Arado: but agree with protestant putting dwon
    Bruce Mowbray listens keenly....
Yakuzza Lethecus: well before i just put this into the chat: [13:24] Yaku (yakuzza.lethecus): a question that bother me a bit is if i get asked in what i would be particularly good and i actually don´t consider myself in anything really good, should or shouldn´t i say it
Zen Arado: woest thing is to have a big head
    Zen Arado: worst
great visitor: 's current display-name is "al pacino".
Eos Amaterasu: probably context of that question matters a lot
    Wol Euler nods.
Eos Amaterasu: like if you were kids playing a game
    Eos Amaterasu: and picking roles
    great visitor: hi
    Eos Amaterasu: hi al
    Wol Euler: hello al
Wol Euler: have you been here before?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hello al pacino
    great visitor: no
    Wol Euler: okay, I
Bruce Mowbray cannot POSSIBLY imagine Yaku with a "big head" (ego).
    Zen Arado: Hi al
Yakuzza Lethecus: i give you a pm
    Wol Euler nods.
Zen Arado: think I saw you in a film?
    great visitor: nods :)
    Zen Arado: :)
    great visitor: HEAT?
    Bruce Mowbray: Welcome, al!
    Zen Arado: heheh
    great visitor: thank you
Zen Arado: talents are all relative
Zen Arado: I just do the best I can
Zen Arado: that's all we can do
Wol Euler: I suspect that much of the time the interview doesn't actually care a toss what you say, they want to see how you react to being questioned.
Bruce Mowbray: and all ANYONE (including prospective employers) can ever do.
Bruce Mowbray: another good point, Wol.
Bruce Mowbray: Simply "being present" is a big plus.
Wol Euler: "how much stress and almost-rudeness can I put on her before she cracks?"
Zen Arado: hmm yes could be
Zen Arado: used to be a saying where I live 'if your face fits'
Wol Euler: another one lost to Mara
    Zen Arado: mmm
Bruce Mowbray: How about trying out a statement like, "I can tell from the shape of your adam's apple that you've always been female. I'm glad for that. (?)
    Wol Euler laughs.
    Zen Arado: smiles
Wol Euler: you'd get punched for that in some circles.
Bruce Mowbray: you know, just a sort of ice-breaker?
    Bruce Mowbray: or JAW breaker!
    Zen Arado: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: well al pacino never agreed to the logging and disappeared i guess that´s an answer too
Zen Arado: they say people judge you in about 30 seconds
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I think that might be called "non-verbal."
    Zen Arado: being tall helps
Zen Arado: (if you are a man)
Eos Amaterasu: here we willingly walk into a kind of NSA field
Bruce Mowbray gets self-conscious about possibly offending al....
Zen Arado: yeh maybe I did
    --BELL--
Zen Arado: with al pacino film question
    Bruce Mowbray: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000199/
Eos Amaterasu: just realized about willing to be logged: it's a kind of bearing witness
    Wol Euler nods.
    Zen Arado: a Miranda?
Yakuzza Lethecus: well i wonder about display names vs proper sl names
Zen Arado: everything you say will be taen down etc
    Zen Arado: taken
Yakuzza Lethecus: if someone actually uses the name of an popular actor does he still have to be deleted ?
Yakuzza Lethecus: or just the sl name
Zen Arado: maybe it really was Al Pacino
Wol Euler: as far as I know any name is okay as long as it isn't obscene or "xyz Linden"
Zen Arado: it's a nuisance having to delete
Wol Euler: you might get into trouble if you called yourself "coca-cola" and started a business in SL
Zen Arado: and it's so easy to miss a reference
Wol Euler: deleted from the log, you mean?
    Zen Arado: yeh
Wol Euler: it won't happen :) apart from once stating his display name when he first arrives, the log uses his "real" SL name
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good point
Zen Arado: I used to have to replace name with 'visitor'
    Zen Arado: took ages
Wol Euler: no, I see no problem with quoting people's display names, even if they are the name of some allegedly real person
Zen Arado: if they didn't agree with their comments beiglogged
    Wol Euler nods.
Zen Arado: well I better go get set up
Eos Amaterasu: it's just metadata :-)
    Yakuzza Lethecus smiles
Zen Arado: playing prog rock tonight
Wol Euler: bye zen, see you later
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye zen
    Eos Amaterasu: ciao!
    Zen Arado: great byee
Eos Amaterasu: ha ha , here's an answer to what am I good at
    Wol Euler: oh?
    Eos Amaterasu: I'm just good
    Wol Euler: ah!
    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
    Wol Euler makes a note.
Eos Amaterasu: actually, interesting, you don't have to be good "at anything" to be good inherently
    Wol Euler nods.
    Eos Amaterasu: "Im just good"
Eos Amaterasu wonders if that's a good pickup line
Yakuzza Lethecus: i would actually think so
Wol Euler: it would be an amusing experiment to give a moral-and-ethical-goodness based answer to that question!
Bruce Mowbray: GOOD people, my typist is fried today. I'm going to check out so he can rest a bit.
Bruce Mowbray: Have a FINE weekend, folks.
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Eos Amaterasu: rest well, Bruce!
Yakuzza Lethecus: ok bruce, take care
Wol Euler: godnight, bruce, take care
    Bruce Mowbray: TY!
Wol Euler: and then there were three.
    --BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: i was just drifting into thinking that i spend hours to figure our something but i just get stuck everytime i look on it without making a fresh start or allowing myself a solution
    Wol Euler listens.
Yakuzza Lethecus: ah, i tried to update a year old arduino sketch of mine
Yakuzza Lethecus: don´t undstand just get stuck, and getting stuck is something i am good at :P
Yakuzza Lethecus: and that i already spend more time with it then propably other would need to write much larger projects
Yakuzza Lethecus: another thing that i think is interesting but i am not good at
    Wol Euler: heheheh
Eos Amaterasu: what you enjoy or would like to be working on is probably more future oriented
Wol Euler: (laughing at "getting stuck is something I am good at"
    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
    Eos Amaterasu: finally!
Eos Amaterasu: to be or not to be, indeed :-)
    Wol Euler smiles.
Yakuzza Lethecus: gosh, i am smiling atm so i better log out at this point :)
    Eos Amaterasu: hah aha hah
Wol Euler: ending on a happy note?
Eos Amaterasu: cool - me go too, actually
Wol Euler: I'll go to dance with Zen and the bunch for a while, then
Yakuzza Lethecus: good night you two, sooner or later
Wol Euler: goodnight all, enjoy the weekend
Eos Amaterasu: was wonderful to share this time with the two of you, who look so lovely together :-)
    Wol Euler: indeed!
Wol Euler: a nice surprise to see you, eos
