Paradise Tennant: yes it has been a while !
stevenaia Michinaga: things have been slow here
Lucinda Lavender: seems so...
stevenaia Michinaga: late winter... sluggishness all around

Paradise Tennant: nods and smiles - last throes of winter - without the promise of spring yet :)
Lucinda Lavender: takes some trust:) I guess
Lucinda Lavender: ah! well great to see you!

Paradise Tennant: yes !!!!
Paradise Tennant: how have you been luci ?
Lucinda Lavender: ok..some issues around health
Paradise Tennant: listens
Lucinda Lavender: but a good ultrasound

Lucinda Lavender: so am just watching
Lucinda Lavender: I find sitting too much is not so good
Lucinda Lavender: especially at the computer
Lucinda Lavender: so I try to vary my time
stevenaia Michinaga: I think I have an 8 hour chair, very comfortable
stevenaia Michinaga: but always go for walks around town and climb the 5 flights of stairs to my office 3-4 times a day
Lucinda Lavender: good for you!
Paradise Tennant: claps!!!
stevenaia Michinaga: I''m still out of breath by the time I get to 4 1/2
stevenaia Michinaga: even after 9 month of this
Paradise Tennant: hmmm takes a while to condition your body
Lucinda Lavender: how about the both of you?

Lucinda Lavender: well I hope
stevenaia Michinaga: I think this may be the first time I've had too much winter
stevenaia Michinaga: usually it never grows old
Lucinda Lavender: I can understand that!
stevenaia Michinaga: my local RL daoist group is getting together this saturday to learn Maj Jong and my Mother volunteered to teach, it should be a trip

Paradise Tennant: hmm I was at a really swish xmas party
Paradise Tennant: the hostess had made these really usually party favors
Paradise Tennant: each person was given a hand made pair of shoes
Paradise Tennant: in the shoes wrapped in cellophane were these really yummy marshmellow like cookies
Paradise Tennant: we all ate the cookies and then put on our shoes
Paradise Tennant: mine were bright pink pumps with high heels that were clear
Paradise Tennant: loved them
Paradise Tennant: but there were so many different kinds of shoes
Paradise Tennant: some of the men had very fancy brogues
Paradise Tennant: others boots
Paradise Tennant: the women had sandals - jewelled slippers - thigh boots - all manner of foot wear

Paradise Tennant: after a while I decided it was time to go home and one of the guests volunteered to walk me to my car.. so off we went .. as we were walking down a street that looked like Manhattan we walked by an open antique store - remember thinking it odd because it was quite late .. in we go and we are browsing through this store that is just jammed with things .. he was looking at a really old carved bed .. so remember sitting down and we must of fallen off asleep .. because it went into another dream ..
Paradise Tennant: we are walking barefoot .. on a beach somewhere and there is a torrential downpour .. remember looking over and thinking how did I get here
Paradise Tennant: odd thing is I can remember the dream really well - all the details
Lucinda Lavender: did you write it down?
Paradise Tennant: I had the feeling if I kept dreaming it would just go from dream to dream
Paradise Tennant: no
Paradise Tennant: but remember it really clearly
Lucinda Lavender: is there more?

Paradise Tennant: hmm no I think I woke up as we were walking along in the rain
stevenaia Michinaga: then the other dream continued?
Paradise Tennant: yes one moment I was in somewhere like Manhatten ... sitting down on a bed .. then the feeling of getting sleeping and falling asleep in my dream and then having another dream but with the same person in it ..
Paradise Tennant: not someone I know
Lucinda Lavender: The shoes...lovely..the pink of love and the heels clear/clarity. The dream within a dream suggests listening to more information or healing...
Lucinda Lavender: perhaps to do with the numbers
Lucinda Lavender: when did you have the dream?
Paradise Tennant: hmm a few weeks back
Lucinda Lavender: :)

Lucinda Lavender: vividness seems to wake us up to my mind
Paradise Tennant: hmm yep it was vivid can still see the shoes and the person's face .. the bed head board ... the room where the party was - all decorated for Xmas though there was no snow on the street .. it was a  bit wet  and the street was brightly lit  with the colours of the lights mirrored on the wet pavement
Paradise Tennant: the sand on the beach was black sand and the sky was very dark
Lucinda Lavender: the shoes feel as they are handmade a particular gift
Lucinda Lavender: The black sand like the void
Paradise Tennant: yes they were all made to order .. she had someone measure our feet - so they were really comfortable – very  unusual
Lucinda Lavender: perhaps a resting place rejuvenation dream
Paradise Tennant: yes
Lucinda Lavender: the white marshmallows...ecstasy
Paradise Tennant: lol

Paradise Tennant: partial to pink shoes too  - maybe I just dream about things I like

Paradise Tennant: Have you had any dreams luci ?
Lucinda Lavender: I had one this morning....setting up an elaborate display of crystals and water flowing through it
Lucinda Lavender: then using a phone to access a fast paced display of history!
Paradise Tennant: smiles and listens sounds like important energy was being flowed
Lucinda Lavender: going backwards...and seeing a hike down a trail....
Lucinda Lavender: yes I do think so
Lucinda Lavender: appreciate the flow of water on stone
Lucinda Lavender: and the light that catches as it does so
Lucinda Lavender: soothing
Lucinda Lavender: invigorating
Lucinda Lavender: stone is history too
Lucinda Lavender: stone being so old
Lucinda Lavender: here we are living briefly on this old stone
Paradise Tennant: nods smiles yes
Paradise Tennant: when I was very young was persistent in my belief that inanimate objects were alive no matter how many times my parents would explain it – somehow - just never really believed them
Lucinda Lavender: i put my computer up on the kitchen cart:)
Lucinda Lavender: so I am not sitting
Paradise Tennant: hmm yes have been thinking of doing that at work
Paradise Tennant: standing in front of my desk
Lucinda Lavender: yes! i think that there have been some studies spoken of recently about putting out feelings on to objects
Lucinda Lavender: our feelings...
Lucinda Lavender: attributing personality to objects...which would be important for people designing robots
Lucinda Lavender: when I was doing the dream school we spoke about listening to rocks:)
Lucinda Lavender: an idea I sort of could understand...what thoughts come to mind as you study this rock
Lucinda Lavender: for example
Paradise Tennant: hmm
Paradise Tennant: I always thought of them just living in a different time stream
Paradise Tennant: a slower one
Lucinda Lavender: ah! that makes sense how does the object speak to you
Paradise Tennant: with us more like high speed flashes of light
Paradise Tennant: just not around long enough
