    stevenaia Michinaga: welcome
Paradise Tennant: hello stev how are are you :)
stevenaia Michinaga: doing good, thanks, jsut returned from my neice's 2nd BD in Philly
Paradise Tennant: smiles that must have been a very big day
stevenaia Michinaga: fund day with little children and relatives
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, about 90 minute drive
    stevenaia Michinaga: drive
stevenaia Michinaga: how is your weekend going?
Paradise Tennant: good thanks went to a client's mall ... they were hosting a moon festival lots of people .. entertainers politicians .. was interesting
stevenaia Michinaga: lots of harvest moon fests going on these days
Paradise Tennant: yes the moon was amazing last night
Paradise Tennant: will go for a walk later and look for it was rainy here so may not see it for the clouds
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, caught it rising on a facebook post pic
    stevenaia Michinaga: so bright
Paradise Tennant: have you been well ?
stevenaia Michinaga: the moon shadows are always interesting on my back yard
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, I have, work has been entertaining and clients have been patience testing, typical
Paradise Tennant: yes really love moonlight like walking in it particularly like falling asleep in it .. my bedroom window as a child had a great view of the moon often

Paradise Tennant: hmm I found a very helpful an article in lion's roar that makes worklife easier let me dig it out for you
stevenaia Michinaga: I don't have many memories of the night from my youth
    stevenaia Michinaga: helpful? how so?
    Paradise Tennant: http://www.lionsroar.com/5-buddhist-slogans-office/
Paradise Tennant: this helps bolster patience I find
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: I usually see them (clients) as a test
    stevenaia Michinaga: I typically pass
    Paradise Tennant: smiles yes !
Paradise Tennant: I sometimes fail I think ..
    stevenaia Michinaga: fail?
stevenaia Michinaga: by your or others measure
Paradise Tennant: hmm by my measure ..
Paradise Tennant: wait time and energy on pondering the behviour of others when there is simply no upside to it
    Paradise Tennant: waste
stevenaia Michinaga: I usaully "can sometimes do better" but never thought of it as failure
Paradise Tennant: not typing very well tonight sorry
stevenaia Michinaga: after we can back this evening we went to local Greek food festival down the street, had some baklava and greek coffee, so I may be a bit wired
Paradise Tennant: hmm that sound yummy...
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes, very
Paradise Tennant: I had two hagen dark chocolate ice cream bars for dinner ! Eaxy to prepare and tasty
    Paradise Tennant: hagen daz
stevenaia Michinaga: I tend to ponder the behavior of others (as it relates to me) as counsel, to take or leave as to how I can improve myself
stevenaia Michinaga: I try to avoid ice cream, but usually can't, I weigh myself about once a year and they send it to my phone, so I have 3+ years of tracking weight, bp and heart rate, I also take this under advisement
Paradise Tennant: I am trying to train myself out of it . So I only think about the situation and beneficial actions nothing more. Actually frees up a lot of room and space ..

    --BELL--

Paradise Tennant: in your thinking .. find I am more creative
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, creativitiy is truly a lone person's race against yourself
Paradise Tennant: hmm find I feel very connected when I am having a good idea though .. .like maybe it is not my idea just something floating around in the ether :) that has popped into my head
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, but from where....
stevenaia Michinaga: your own head is where it came from
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: it;s always been there
stevenaia Michinaga: waiting to be applied, I find that satifying
Paradise Tennant: you know I do a lot of predicative analysis and over the year have fine tuned an approach that I find works well. I thought it was my idea only to find it really is based on a buddhist concept that goes back thousands of years ... beginner's mind :))))
stevenaia Michinaga: funny, I have found my approach to things aligns with the daoist approach which has also been around for thousands of year and that I never knew existed before I stumbled across PaB
    Paradise Tennant: listens
stevenaia Michinaga: so I think in both our thinking, it's a very natural and human approach thought about from the begining and resides in each of us in some form, i.e., nothing is original
stevenaia Michinaga: it just appears new to us
stevenaia Michinaga: my favorite non-original original thought was a stadium designed by the now deceased architect Zaha Hadid
stevenaia Michinaga: Her original design was very organic... the response from the world, other than too expensive was, oh, looks like a vagina
stevenaia Michinaga: i.e., it's been done before
    stevenaia Michinaga: sort of
stevenaia Michinaga: just not quite at that scale

Paradise Tennant: looks kind of star trekky
stevenaia Michinaga: much of work does
stevenaia Michinaga: I find it re-assuring that I can tap into something that has been done withough knowing it has been done. I suspect Jung would understand
Paradise Tennant: yes truly valuable thinking has the ability to echo through generations
Paradise Tennant: speaking of the truly valuable how is kitty doing ?
stevenaia Michinaga: kitty is an old kitty, loves to visit us at times convenient to kitty and let's us know when it's time for food... like clockwork, so no sleeping in
Paradise Tennant: lol yes they get more demanding as they get older secure in your love --- they know they can call the shots
stevenaia Michinaga: happy to go in... and out... and in... and out, sometimes taking minutes to decide when we open the door that he insists needs to be opened so he can decide which he wants
Paradise Tennant: lol he just messing with you
    Paradise Tennant: is
    stevenaia Michinaga: ofcourse
stevenaia Michinaga: there is that famous cat video about how cats are so abused by humans..
Paradise Tennant: hiya san .. nice to see you
    Santoshima Resident: hello you both
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi San

    Santoshima Resident: there
    Santoshima Resident: well thanks :)
stevenaia Michinaga: we were just chating abut creativitiy and how nothing is new
    Santoshima Resident: ah
stevenaia Michinaga: (we just think it's new)
    Santoshima Resident: new old
stevenaia Michinaga: or all part of something universal
    Santoshima Resident: old new
Paradise Tennant: smiles .I guess when you embrace an idea that has been around for while... it does change a bit .. we all bring something a little diferent
stevenaia Michinaga: nods an idea applied in a creative way to a new situation
Paradise Tennant: is there a bright moon by you san ?
    Santoshima Resident: let me look
    Santoshima Resident: a sec
stevenaia Michinaga: Ideas are like playdough, they can be formed to fit new situations
Santoshima Resident: no moon yet to be seen
Santoshima Resident: new solar lights are working to light a path
stevenaia Michinaga: full moons with lots of trees must be lovely
Santoshima Resident: and there is a star
Santoshima Resident: or maybe light from a satelite
    stevenaia Michinaga: nice shadows
    Santoshima Resident: wind tonight
Paradise Tennant: tonight is the harvest moon no ? last night it was amazing here .. ...
    Santoshima Resident: oh
Santoshima Resident: did you see it low on the horizon?
stevenaia Michinaga: the moon rise here while it was still light
    Paradise Tennant: http://earthsky.org/tonight/what-is-a-harvest-moon
Paradise Tennant: yes low and huge in the horizon ... made me stand stil for a good long while

    --BELL--

Paradise Tennant: kind of like if you went on tippey toe you could touch it :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3pujchg9ndygycy/Moonrise.jpg?dl=0

    Santoshima Resident: nice
Paradise Tennant: like a faithful companion:) it is so often there waiting smiling :))
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Paradise Tennant: had a dream about my mother this week. I woken up looked at my phone and decided to ge back to bed for 10 minutes with the phone beside me. I dreamt I slept in to 1.17 pm and my mother was sitting in the chair across from me. I was mad at her because she had not woken me up. She just smiled at me and said ..why would I wake you up from a perfectly good sleep.
Santoshima Resident: that is so kind of her!

    --BELL--

Paradise Tennant: yes .. she passed a few years ago .. and I have very few dreams of her
    stevenaia Michinaga: how peaceful,
Paradise Tennant: so funny .. so real .. she looked younger and more rested :)
    Paradise Tennant: and perfectly content
Paradise Tennant: lol and happily I woke still in time to get to work :)) would have been very problematic if I had slept the day away :)
stevenaia Michinaga: been dreaming lately, I so need to take the moment to write them down before they disappear, as they most often do
Paradise Tennant: yes .. can be like giving up treasure if you don't get to reflect on them .. in the presence of your waking mind
Paradise Tennant: I had another dream which was full of rubies
Paradise Tennant: I was friends with someone who shifted shape .. and was going places with them .. every where we went there were just rubies everywhere
Paradise Tennant: just lying about in heaps ..
    stevenaia Michinaga: wow
Paradise Tennant: it is the stone of love
    Paradise Tennant: abundance
stevenaia Michinaga: wouldn't it be nice to grab some and have them when you awake
    stevenaia Michinaga: (work on that)
Paradise Tennant: lol I had that thought when i woke up
Paradise Tennant: sometimes I think we are surrounded by a kind of love you just don't see ..
stevenaia Michinaga: smiles, on that note I think I go have a dream
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    stevenaia Michinaga: night Para, San
Santoshima Resident: ok, same over here
Paradise Tennant: I hope you have a great dream!
