Riddle Sideways: Hello Adams
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: Good morning Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: a fine disciple/devotee look today
Sorry, no picture taken
Adams Rubble: or Sinead (top of the mornin to you)
Adams Rubble: namaste _/!\_
Riddle Sideways: wondering what religion, sect, district, etc. a red hakama(name?) is from?
Adams Rubble: Rei
Adams Rubble: my other avatar has the better outfits
Riddle Sideways: that is what they all think
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: my other avatar did a workshop on religious clothing
Riddle Sideways: that word means something which is forgotten, Googling it only gives adverts for REI sales
Adams Rubble: cleaned out Ryushi's store
Adams Rubble shrugs
Adams Rubble: Just going by the name in my inventory
Adams Rubble: would you like to buy a tent?
Adams Rubble: having a sale--they start at $10,000
Adams Rubble: reduced from 10.050
Adams Rubble: whoops
Riddle Sideways: ha
Adams Rubble: reduced from 9950
Adams Rubble: no, right first time
Adams Rubble: so I guess this is a fake outfit?
Adams Rubble: hmmm
Adams Rubble: who would have thought that someone would be sloppy about details in Second Life
Riddle Sideways: no way
Adams Rubble: are you still reading TSK?
Riddle Sideways: which store? search gave lots of things
Riddle Sideways: many Ryu to look at later
Riddle Sideways: (or did you mean REI)
Riddle Sideways: right, that is enough
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: both. still doing exercises near the end and started over reading with household
Adams Rubble: oh nice
Riddle Sideways: Finished library book last night, so it can go back on-time to avoid fines
Riddle Sideways: remember those
Riddle Sideways: being terrified as a child
Adams Rubble: I saw a truck this morning and I thought it said "Powered by Buddhism"
Riddle Sideways: about over-due library fines
Riddle Sideways: wow!
Adams Rubble: yes, we worked hard to keep from getting fined--oh the shame of it
Adams Rubble: it said "Powered by Diesel", hehe but then I began to thibnk about TSK nad the fact that it indeed is powered by Buddhism
Riddle Sideways: the only Stephen King read was "The Library Police" (or some title like that)
Adams Rubble: how my mind got Buddhism instead of Diesel I do not know but it is better than the other way around :)
Adams Rubble: nad=and
Riddle Sideways: TSK does not seem to mention religion much, so it has to be thought about and added up
Adams Rubble: yes, purposely avoided religion
Riddle Sideways: bashed religion a couple times
Adams Rubble: religion can take it
Adams Rubble: except for the fundamentalist Christians in US who think Christianity is under attack
Riddle Sideways: "you don't have to be paranoid to know they are out to get you" (quote is something like that)
Adams Rubble: this morning I was reading about Tara and one example of a manesfestation
Adams Rubble: any Buddha can become a manesfestation of Tara or any other "deity"
Adams Rubble: I was thinking about how Stim used to tell us that things were more complicated than we thought
Adams Rubble: I then was wondering how that relates to the Christian Holy Spirit
Adams Rubble: the Muslims are very rigid about Mohammand
Adams Rubble: I like the lightness of the manefestation appearing to us
Adams Rubble wonders if I am making any sense
Adams Rubble: following a bunch of ideas not really completing any
Adams Rubble: monkey mind :)
Riddle Sideways: mostly :) took thoughts off
Riddle Sideways: maybe where your words pointed
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: the first was when people say "It's simple! ..." it seems to always be more complicated
Riddle Sideways: off on those thoughts
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: the second was rigid and light
Adams Rubble: yes it was frustrating for me back in 2008
Adams Rubble: we learn to relax and let things go
Riddle Sideways: many times personal manefestations are light (many words like light)
Riddle Sideways: yet, when handed down from others they are heavy handed
Riddle Sideways: peachers, TV evangelist, corner prophets, good books, etc. etc. all are heavy fisted in This Is THE Way.
Adams Rubble: heavy handed might be a better phrase for what people mean by dogma
Adams Rubble: hehe about heavy fisted
Riddle Sideways: always liked "Your Dogma ate my Karma"
Riddle Sideways: have never been sure why one person's personal revolutions, manifestation, visions, insights, etc. (light but Aha!) must be forced on others
Riddle Sideways: many go on missions to make you a better person Their Way
Adams Rubble nods
Adams Rubble: ignorance
Riddle Sideways: In kind of a SL shopping strip mall scene (of the mind)
Riddle Sideways: each little stall with a different prophet
Riddle Sideways: selling their brand of ...
Riddle Sideways: truth, beauty, religion, the Way, book,
Adams Rubble: they think their happiness will come from making people think like them
Riddle Sideways: an Avi can walk that street to see which to buy
Adams Rubble: forgetting their happiness might better derive from peace of mind
Riddle Sideways: "Shop #13 has a lovely 'peace of mind' "
Riddle Sideways: one of those shops sent a griefer to bomb shop #42 away
Riddle Sideways: sorry! that was bad
Adams Rubble: Religion and politics become twisted together sometimes
Riddle Sideways: the logic goes: person was lost then found a path that was good, sees you seemingly lost, so you have to follow their path
Adams Rubble: hard to know where one starts and the other ends
Riddle Sideways: singing "Same as it always was" ...
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: each candidate is more of and for Your religion then their opponent
Riddle Sideways: each religious leader has the inside knowledge on how society should run
Riddle Sideways: ok, that was a depressing 90 seconds of mindfulness
Adams Rubble: we went far from the different kinds of manedfestations of Tara
Adams Rubble: I like the lightness of a manefestation not being absolute
Adams Rubble: no need to gather the French army and attack the English invaders to save the Dauphin
Adams Rubble: Tara just appearing and saying "stop that"
Riddle Sideways: but which manefestation of Tara appears?
Adams Rubble: no need to "believe"
Riddle Sideways: whaaaaa?
Riddle Sideways: are you kidding? there is no need to 'Believe'
Adams Rubble: just be loving :)
Adams Rubble: compassionate (powered by Buddhism)
Riddle Sideways: tooo simple
Riddle Sideways: nobody will go for it
Riddle Sideways: brb, emergancy in house
Adams Rubble: that's what they told Buddha, Christ, Moses, Mohammad :)
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: back
Riddle Sideways: crisis averted
Adams Rubble: I hope everything is OK
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: when the Beatles sang "All you need is Love ...." simulcast around the world
Riddle Sideways: it was Too Simple
Riddle Sideways: or did "you must Love my Way" happen?
Adams Rubble: Frank Sinatra did it his way :)
Riddle Sideways: each 'Artist' (Artiste?) sang it a Way you might buy
Adams Rubble: I always liked the benediction "May the peace [of God] which passes all understanding be with you always"
Adams Rubble: Tilopa: Don’t recall. Don’t imagine. Don’t think. Don’t examine. Don’t control. Rest.
Adams Rubble: DO rest
Riddle Sideways: Ah ... that feels good
Adams Rubble: Pema passed that on to my RL avatar in RL once
Adams Rubble: printed out the page and cut out the advice and handed it to me
Adams Rubble: (the advice that is)
Riddle Sideways: :)
Riddle Sideways: remembering the story
Riddle Sideways: good to be reminded
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: look up at the wall and reread
Adams Rubble: yes, I broke the first rule. hehe
Riddle Sideways: oops
Riddle Sideways: did it too
Adams Rubble: as Stim says, it is complicated
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: actually, looking straight up from this monitor is a blank section of wall
Riddle Sideways: will think on that advice written there
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: Nothing!
Adams Rubble: good place to end. May you have a nice day and may the peace that passes all understanding be with you always
Adams Rubble: or simply namaste :)
Riddle Sideways: thank you, friend
Adams Rubble: bye for now
Riddle Sideways: by All
Adams Rubble: shhh, you too, listener
