Riddle Sideways: it has a fever when running SL
    Eliza Madrigal: oh no
    Eden Haiku: Maybe the fires?
Riddle Sideways: fires are horrrible, but far away
Eden Haiku: All the North of California seems on fire sadly
    Eliza Madrigal: :(
    Riddle Sideways: :(
Eden Haiku: Do you smell the smoke Riddle?
Riddle Sideways: no, wind blows the other way
    Eden Haiku: Ah, good :)

    Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Eden Haiku: The festival was 4 days long right?

    Woodstock

Riddle Sideways: new to many visitors
Eden Haiku: Was reading online about Woodstock recently. So many people showed up they had to make it a free concert :)
    Riddle Sideways: Howdee Adams
    Riddle Sideways: fancy outfit
    Adams Rubble: Hello everyone :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Adams :)
Eden Haiku: Hi Adams! What a classy gown, going to some event later?
Adams Rubble is late and did not have time to change
Adams Rubble: slept in my evening gown
Riddle Sideways: ha, had bought a ticket to Woodstock
    Eden Haiku: Ah, I see...
Eden Haiku: Did you get there Riddle?
Riddle Sideways: or stayed at the party all night?
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: there was nobody to give the ticket to
    Eden Haiku: :)
Riddle Sideways: Think Woodstock put the finishing touchs on the warping of young Riddle
Adams Rubble did not go to Woodstock concert but was passing by the week before and was almost in a fifty car accident
Eden Haiku: Quite an experience I'm sure. What highlight do you remember?
Eliza Madrigal: perhaps the world needs another warping
Eden Haiku: Oh, Adams... sorry to hear. Traffic jams already?
    Eden Haiku: smiles at Eliza
Riddle Sideways: One huge long set of memories.
    Eden Haiku: :)
Adams Rubble: traveling highway speed and suddenly it stopped dead--there was a big grass divider--every other car went off the highway and I stopped inched from the bumper in front of me--different memory from Riddle's
    Eliza Madrigal: still, a lifeshock
Eden Haiku: Going to Woodstock area in the Catskills for a writing workshop next fall, so I have been checking for rentals there. But the festival was in Bethel wasn'it?
Riddle Sideways: have forgotten the details, Adams.
Riddle Sideways: yes, Bethel. there is a museum and concerts there now
Eden Haiku: Oh, a near miss. Must have been frightening. And you were a young driver then Adams :)
Riddle Sideways: the idea first started for it to be outside Woodstock, NY
Riddle Sideways: next year it will be 50th
Adams Rubble sings Take another piece of my heart now, baby
Eden Haiku: They were expecting 50K at most but I think much much more turned up...
Eden Haiku:Only saw the movie :)
Adams Rubble: yes Eden, I was even younger than I am now :)
    Riddle Sideways: 400K+
Eden Haiku: Isn'it strange Adams how young we are :))
Eliza Madrigal: friends were obsessed with the movie when I was growing up... was on at all the parties... so, moving. I was born during Woodstock, but a year late. ;-)
Riddle Sideways: sings "so much older then, I'm younger than that now"
Eden Haiku: listening to her friends songs :)
Eden Haiku: Eliza is our Woodstock baby :)
Eliza Madrigal: maybe the warping took a while to reach Miami
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Eliza Madrigal: what kind of workshop will you be attending, Eden?
Adams Rubble: people knew what needed to be changed for the better and here we are years later and it still needs changing
    Adams Rubble: or changing again
Eliza Madrigal: time for an update :)
Riddle Sideways: is the sad truth, Adams
Eden Haiku: I will be consulting on a personal basis on the span of a few days. I have been in touch with the woman who gives the workshops for a while.

Woodland mythical creatures and a very emotional dance

Riddle Sideways: /listens for more details
    Adams Rubble listens too
Riddle Sideways: you are consulting the director?
Eden Haiku: The woman used to be the personal secretary of the guru when I was living in India. I don't remember her then, but I read her book "The Guru Looked Good" which is excellent.
Eliza Madrigal thinks that area is far enough out of the way that there may be woods, and deer :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh, interesting
Eden Haiku: We have have been in touch on Twitter and by email for a few years now.
Eden Haiku: Yes, the area seems wonderful. It's closed by to the ashram in the Catskills where I used to spend the summers.
Eden Haiku: I started writing a new book a few days ago.
Eden Haiku: A short one this time:)
Riddle Sideways: rolling hills with some woods and large farms, fields
    Riddle Sideways: /listens
    Eliza Madrigal: fantastic!
Adams Rubble: be careful not to drink the ale of the little people though
Eden Haiku: But writing about the guru's experience calls for a soft touch. Writing on egg shells like the way Riddle is typing today so not to crash :)
Adams Rubble: especially if they are playing ninepins
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Litte people's ale and ninepines? I'm at loss here...
Eliza Madrigal: woodland mythical creatures :)
Eden Haiku: Ah! Some fairlyland I see :)
Adams Rubble: Rip Van Winkle territory
    Eden Haiku: Yep!
Eliza Madrigal: I've been thinking about your ashram in India for a few days, actually, because Elizabeth Gilbert posted this wonderfully emotional dance, on Instagram. Really affected me. Also we've been talking about Gurdjieff in Thursday sessions, so am musing a lot on dance. :) Will give IG link for later, may appreciate.
Riddle Sideways: many gnomes now are in cities and towns pretending to be concrete statues
    Eliza Madrigal: lol Riddle
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bl-z_YFAEmv/?hl=en&taken-by=elizabeth_gilbert_writer
Eliza Madrigal: I think you can see this without an account.
Eden Haiku: loves Elisabeth Gilbert. They teach Gurdjieff? Oh no, I see not in paralegal classes ,in PaB session :)
    Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Eliza Madrigal likes the dance without the music
Eliza Madrigal: hah, yes, in PaB
    Adams Rubble: brb
    Eden Haiku: Beautiful dance indeed...
Eden Haiku: This woman is amazing...
Eliza Madrigal: this notion of dancing, or dancing out the grief... just found that beautiful
Riddle Sideways: click later, to not tax computer
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: sorry Riddle, not so gentle of me
Eden Haiku: Oh I see, it's not Elisabeth Gilbert herself dancing but a friend...
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
    Eliza Madrigal: Morning Storm :)
Eden Haiku: Good morning Storm :)
Storm Nordwind: Good morning! Sorry, overslept :)
    Riddle Sideways: Hey Storm
Eden Haiku: We have been talking about a festival Riddle helped organized, then Woodstock, a writing workshop, an almost car accident and dancing grief.
Storm Nordwind: Oh my word! A rich tapestry. :)
    Riddle Sideways: nice summary
    Eliza Madrigal: spinning yarns :)
    Storm Nordwind: :))
    Eden Haiku: Warping worlds :)
    Adams Rubble: back, reading
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Adams Rubble: Hello Storm :)
Eden Haiku: Welcome back Adams :)
    Storm Nordwind: Good morning Adams!

    Brunching with interchangeable souls

Eden Haiku: Was imagining a very weird paralegal summer course where they would use enneagramms...
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
Eliza Madrigal: it is a new language, even though familiar... will say that much about the class
Eliza Madrigal: facing my cynicism... do I believe in/ that there is 'justice'?
Eden Haiku: Gurdieff theory was that there were only 9 type of people in the whole world. With like three variables for each :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh really?
Eliza Madrigal: I haven't been able to grok Gurdjieff, for all that he has come up in years of exploring
Eden Haiku: Trying to find a link :)
Eliza Madrigal: but I do like the notion of self-remembering, and the dancing
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eden Haiku: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Way_enneagram
Eden Haiku: Not the one I meant though...
Eliza Madrigal: and I like the notion of embodying knowledge
    Eliza Madrigal clicks
    Eden Haiku: Closer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enneagram_of_Personality
Eliza Madrigal: oooh, okay I am familiar with this
Eden Haiku: here are the 9 types; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enneagram_of_Personality#Nine_types
Eliza Madrigal: I suppose like all these maps, there is some use in approximations?
Eden Haiku: It's a funny game to play
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eden Haiku: Looking at brunch of strangers and stating this person is a exactly like aunt Martha or like cousin Stella or neighbour Klaus :)
    Eden Haiku: *bunch
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Riddle Sideways: like brunch
    Eden Haiku: Like brunch :)
Eliza Madrigal: brunching with interchangeable souls
Eden Haiku: Sorry I got sidetracked :)
Eden Haiku: I'm the adventurer type (which is not even listed there:)
Eliza Madrigal: sidetracked is my natural state
Eliza Madrigal: that does seem like you, though :))
    Eden Haiku: Parallel corridors :)
Storm Nordwind: As long as they're not parallel boats - ouch!
Eden Haiku: Where are we going?
    Riddle Sideways: parallel paths
    Eliza Madrigal: ha ha
    Eden Haiku: Ha!
    Eden Haiku: onigokko
Eliza Madrigal: we're following you Riddle, you didn't know?
    Eden Haiku: stop
    Eliza Madrigal is awake now
    Riddle Sideways: whew
Eden Haiku: We don't want to make Riddle crash but a bot of morning faning is good for the joints :)
Eliza Madrigal laughs... juicing the day
Eden Haiku: a bit of morning dancing :)
Eliza Madrigal: I do have to go, must study
Adams Rubble: I need to run some errands so I am going to say goodbye. Have a wonderful day :)
    Eliza Madrigal: ((((friends)))) Thank you
Riddle Sideways: have not crashed, yet
    Adams Rubble: bye
Eden Haiku: have a nice day Eliza and fruitful studies :)
Eden Haiku: Was nice following you Riddle :)
    Riddle Sideways: by All
Eliza Madrigal: lovely day to all, thanks :))
    Eden Haiku: Bye guys :)
    Storm Nordwind: Bye!
Riddle Sideways: ah, the exciting new day
Eden Haiku: A new day all fresh :)

From the IG post "The writer Martin Prechtel says that all true grief has an element of rejoicing — but only if you are willing to allow ALL the love and ALL the pain to coexist. We dance because it hurts too much not to. We dance because we are so grateful to have known such deep, foundational love. We dance through our grief and WITH our grief, so that our grief will not sink us..."
