Eliza Madrigal: since there wasn't a clamour to come to meetings, we've decided to have WG be email and guardian sessions
Bleu Oleander: I think that's a good idea
Eliza Madrigal: so most things would be handled via guardian sessions (editing nominations) but then if things come up that need a sharper focus, ther will be the email group
Bleu Oleander: perfect
Eliza Madrigal: it also makes room for europeans to participate, and those who find it harder to be inworld...
Eliza Madrigal: so... if you are interested :) you know we would love you

Eliza Madrigal: so far stevie, me, san and maybe luci and Ewan but we haven't heard from the last two yet

Eliza Madrigal: will have to be better about agenda item for g sessions
Bleu Oleander: I may not be able to come to all the guardian mtgs but probably most
Eliza Madrigal: hopefully we can duplicate across communications
Eliza Madrigal: between email annoucements with guardian session agenda, etc

Eliza Madrigal: can't think of any so far... you Stevie?

Bleu Oleander: I think allergies
Bleu Oleander: really bad this spring
Eliza Madrigal: ohh

Bleu Oleander: u feeling better?
Eliza Madrigal: mine is almost gone but nose is running away with me
Bleu Oleander: i'm a total mess
Bleu Oleander: trying lots of diff allergy meds
Eliza Madrigal: hard to know what is what... my son deals with allergies and takes claritin every day for a few months
Bleu Oleander: claritin didn't do anything for me
Eliza Madrigal: they call it "systemic allergies" because it really does affect whole body
Bleu Oleander: yes
Bleu Oleander: its so beautiful outside right now and I feel awful if outside :(

Bleu Oleander: I never had allergies back east
Bleu Oleander: must be the wild west lol
Eliza Madrigal: I think they aren't as bad this year, here, because we've had very little variation, so no dramatic blooming

stevenaia Michinaga: then use the email and ahve a back-up WG if needed for special agendas

Eos Amaterasu: I think of taking a miniaturized rendition of this pavilion into RL

Eos Amaterasu: if you're doing a short (3 day) retreat some distance from NYC, then it might make sense to do the 3 days in place
Eos Amaterasu: and then on the 4th day go "into the marketplace", NYC....

stevenaia Michinaga: yes, I spoke to Adams tonight and there is no Kira support of retreats (No Kira at all actually) so unless we have an early committed group that is financially in, it will be dificult to to much more than a meet-up
Eos Amaterasu: those can also work
Eos Amaterasu: ie, a minimum ceremony plan is to have pick a hotel and have people book there

Eos Amaterasu: kind of a retreat center
