Bleu Oleander: yes, especially this time ... monsoon season ... although not much this year
Agatha Macbeth: Oh you have a rainy season?
Bleu Oleander: the whole sw is experiencing a drought
Bleu Oleander: can rain in the spring also

Agatha Macbeth: The trick is to catch it when it comes and keep it :p

Bleu Oleander: lots of green lawns in phoenix though
Agatha Macbeth: Amazing to think how tenacious a species we are that we can adapt to such climates
Agatha Macbeth: Middle East is even worse in that regard
Bleu Oleander: well we think we have adapted ... just turn the a/c off and see how long we last :)

Agatha Macbeth: It always amazes me that they have golf courses in Arab countries!
Eos Amaterasu: much of the electricity ultimately comes from water
Agatha Macbeth: Where would we be without water
Bleu Oleander: yes so water shortage is not good

Agatha Macbeth: Must use so much water for that
Bleu Oleander: actually its recycled so they claim not much is wasted

Agatha Macbeth: Would be silly to play golf while dying of thirst :p
Bleu Oleander: however residential lawns and pools use a lot
