    Wol Euler: heheheh
Qt Core: yesterday i walked for some 6 hours, bar a 20 minutes food stop
    Wol Euler: wow.

    --BELL--

Qt Core: planning a repeat for Tuesday when i booked a visit to the last supper (hoping not to foretasting that too much and be disappointed in the end)
Qt Core: (and feeling guilty for not aving been there at my age)
    Wol Euler: aww :)
Wol Euler: but that's the curse of the home town, one never goes to see "attractions" where one actually lives
Wol Euler: I hope you won't be disappointed
Qt Core: now i think it was a good idea NOT to go see an exhibition where there is a digitally restored version of the last supper
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: probably better to do that after seeing hte real thing
Qt Core: but maybe i'll read the wikipedia article to know what i'll see
Wol Euler: a bit of background is always helpful
Wol Euler: personally I try not to find out too much before I go, and read up afterwards
Qt Core: yes, just the general idea
    Wol Euler nods.
Qt Core: a famous italian poem about the waiting and anticipation being better than the things itself (Il sabato del villaggio - Saturday in the village): http://rout.blogspot.it/2004/08/poem...1798-1837.html
Wol Euler: I'm planning some holiday-at-home events for my upcoming summer holiday
    Wol Euler: ah
Qt Core: and one of the most hated poem too as it is one that many had to memorize at school ( i hadn't)
    Wol Euler giggles.
Wol Euler: that was lovely, thank you
Qt Core: this being the central part:This is the best of the seven days, full of hope and joy: tomorrow the hours will bring anxiety and sadness, and make each turn, in thought, to their accustomed toil.
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: we enliven our working week with thoughts of time off, and spoil the time off with anticipating work again
Qt Core: the sunday afternoon depression
Qt Core: fighted best with a nap ;-)
    --BELL--
    Wol Euler: indeed :)
Wol Euler: Douglas Adams called it "the long dark teatime of the soul": that eternal 4pm of the soul, when you've already had all the baths you can usefully take.
Wol Euler: there's more, but I can't remember
Qt Core: expectations are always perfect, the real thing rarely, that's why sudden unexpected (good) things are usually better
Qt Core: sadly ii need to go, Wol
Qt Core: bye and have unexpected fun! :-)
    Wol Euler: oops
Wol Euler: take care, qt, enjoy the day
    Wol Euler: and enjoy Leonardo
