    Zon Kwan: hi Aph
Aphrodite Macbain: Hey Zon. How are you?
Aphrodite Macbain: Eliza can't make it today
Zon Kwan: how was your day?
    Aphrodite Macbain: smiles
Aphrodite Macbain: so far it has been very pleasant. thanks
Aphrodite Macbain: Got the apartment clean
Zon Kwan: always good to have things in order
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Aphrodite Macbain: You are wearing a tuxedo. Any special occasion today?
Zon Kwan: is your face grey or is it my viewer
    Aphrodite Macbain: your viewer

    SL Opera

Zon Kwan: no, i was last night at opera
    Aphrodite Macbain: nice
    Zon Kwan: Carmen, modern version
Zon Kwan: have you seen it?
    Aphrodite Macbain: good?
    Zon Kwan: yes
    Zon Kwan: very good
Zon Kwan: they are improving every time
Aphrodite Macbain: who was the lead?
Zon Kwan: oh i dont remember names
    Zon Kwan: here in sl
Aphrodite Macbain: where? at the Royal Opera House?
    Zon Kwan: yes
Aphrodite Macbain: It's a beautiful sim
    Zon Kwan: it is
Zon Kwan: and they move so well
Aphrodite Macbain: I have performed there but not as an opera singer!
Aphrodite Macbain: the performers move well?
    Zon Kwan: yes, you mentioned
    Zon Kwan: as they danced
    Aphrodite Macbain: It's not easy
Zon Kwan: dont know how they do it
Aphrodite Macbain: although they don't have to sing - just move appropriately
Zon Kwan: ah now i see your pretty face
Aphrodite Macbain: takes a lot of rehearsals
    Aphrodite Macbain: aww
    Aphrodite Macbain: good :-)
Zon Kwan: perhaps they use move detectors
    Aphrodite Macbain: what are they?
Zon Kwan: and dance in rl
    Zon Kwan: hm
Zon Kwan: dont know right word
Aphrodite Macbain: Oh I see! I doubt it
Zon Kwan: it was so natural
    Aphrodite Macbain: can you imagine?
Zon Kwan: they use those when making films
Aphrodite Macbain: Yes those who create those movement animations are amazing. I think people are attached in some way to points that are recording their fine movements
    Zon Kwan: yes yes
Aphrodite Macbain: so everything looks so natural
Zon Kwan: that what i meant
Aphrodite Macbain: the wrists and fingers move
Zon Kwan: i have seen few ballets there
Aphrodite Macbain: They are truly operas in the full meaning of the word,
    Zon Kwan: yes
    Zon Kwan: really fantastic
Aphrodite Macbain: dance, music, singing, acting, sets
Aphrodite Macbain: a complete artwork combining all the disciplines
    Zon Kwan: so creative
Zon Kwan: and they mixed classic and modern
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Aphrodite Macbain: Do you go to opera in RL?
    Zon Kwan: sometimes
    Zon Kwan: not very often
Aphrodite Macbain: You have a good opera house near you?
Zon Kwan: not so as in NY
Zon Kwan: and its quite expensive
Zon Kwan: but i listen good operas sometimes
    Zon Kwan: tv and cds
Aphrodite Macbain: yes it's very expensive, not surprisingly. It must cost a fortune to mount an opera
Aphrodite Macbain: I watch "Live at the Met" which is almost as good and you get to go back stage
    Zon Kwan: yes
Zon Kwan: I'd like to visit Met one day
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hiya Bruce
Bruce Mowbray: HEY! Helo, APH! Hello, Zon!
    Zon Kwan: hi Bruce
    Zon Kwan: lol
    Aphrodite Macbain: GTSY!
Bruce Mowbray: GOOD TO SEE YOUUUUU TOOOO!
Zon Kwan: how are you today?

Bruce Mowbray: Well, NOW I'm fantastic. (as soon as my head goes back to its regular colors.)
    Zon Kwan: smiles
    Aphrodite Macbain: aww
Aphrodite Macbain: I am going to replace Eliza on Mondays and she's taking my Thursday slot
    Bruce Mowbray: GREAT!!!
Aphrodite Macbain: She'll be a tough act to follow
Bruce Mowbray: I just read your emails and scooted on over.
Bruce Mowbray: (still making adjustments here.)
Bruce Mowbray: Has Zon just come from an opera?
Aphrodite Macbain: How does Eliza run these meetings?
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes he has
    Aphrodite Macbain: lol
    Bruce Mowbray: Wow!
Aphrodite Macbain: I like the white shoes and no socks :-)
    Bruce Mowbray: nods.
Aphrodite Macbain: what do u normally talk about when Eliza runs these sessions?
    Bruce Mowbray: Whatever comes up.
    Aphrodite Macbain: well...
Aphrodite Macbain: opera has come up
Bruce Mowbray: Normally Eliza will have been pondering something, and offers that as a topic, but we go all over the map.
    Aphrodite Macbain: ok
Aphrodite Macbain: I have been pondering something
Bruce Mowbray: Bruce and Blub are all ears.
    Zon Kwan: what is that

    Porosity and openness

Aphrodite Macbain: How does one become porous and identify with the whole cosmos?
    Aphrodite Macbain: he he
Aphrodite Macbain: just a little thing...
Bruce Mowbray: Would that involve becoming "softer"?
Bruce Mowbray: I think it might...
Aphrodite Macbain: I am reading about eastern philosophy
    Zon Kwan: porous?
    Zon Kwan: what is that?
Bruce Mowbray: Soft front and firm spine... something like that?
Aphrodite Macbain: dropping one's individuality and becoming one with the universe
Bruce Mowbray: porous is like a sponge... able to absorb much without resisting it.
    Zon Kwan: well..takes little time
Zon Kwan: at least a week
    Bruce crashes and reappears
    Zon Kwan: wb Bruce
Zon Kwan: were you absorbed by universe?
Bruce Mowbray: ty. All those flips took the color out of my face.
Bruce Mowbray: Are you asking Aph that question, Zon?
Zon Kwan: Aph, i think it's a gradual process
Aphrodite Macbain: or, as the book I am reading "Becoming Bamboo" says - instead of looking at bamboo when you paint it, you become it...There is nothing separating you from it. I find this hard to "imagine". I am always outside other objects and don't know how to apply this concept to myself.
Aphrodite Macbain: Perhaps I'm becoming too literal
Bruce Mowbray: Well, perhaps you might also consider that you are continually exchanging parts of yourself with other "objects," as you call them.
    Aphrodite Macbain: exchanging?
Bruce Mowbray: That might incline one toward thinking of a co-subjectivity.
Aphrodite Macbain: what do you mean?
Bruce Mowbray: If you and I were in the same room, we'd be exchanging air molecules, for a rough example.
    Aphrodite Macbain: nods
Aphrodite Macbain: so perhaps considering things we share?
    Bruce Mowbray listens....
    Bruce Mowbray: (like tiger t-shirts?)
    Aphrodite Macbain: lol
Zon Kwan: to see an object is kind of it too
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Zon Kwan: you . object . seeing
Aphrodite Macbain: you mean really seeing it?
Bruce Mowbray: to share the seeing of objects. you mean?
    Zon Kwan: becomes one
Aphrodite Macbain: so I become Bruce?
Bruce Mowbray: surely, then, we would share the light reflected from objects....
Bruce Mowbray: if we were both looking at the same objects.
Bruce Mowbray: have you ever sat around a campfire sharing the light and warmth of it?
Aphrodite Macbain: You are thinking about it very scientifically Bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: am I, really?
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
    Qt Core: Hi all!
    Zon Kwan: hi Qt
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Qt!

    Aphrodite Macbain: Salve Qt
Bruce Mowbray: have you ever gone to a movie that made the whole audience cry?
Aphrodite Macbain: I sense that the writer is getting at something else
Bruce Mowbray: Well, Aphrodite is a fine artist.... and I'm sure many folks share the enjoyment of her painting.
Bruce Mowbray: but first they must soften themselves a bit....
    Aphrodite Macbain: be receptive?
    Aphrodite Macbain: (and non judgemental!)
Bruce Mowbray: first, they must enter into -- yes that was exactly the word I was looking for: first they must become receptive to it.
Aphrodite Macbain: maybe that's all it means
Aphrodite Macbain: to be compassionate too?
Bruce Mowbray: well, not to put too fine a point on it, but real receptivity is not skin deep.
Bruce Mowbray: certainly not when it comes to art.
Bruce Mowbray: I think the word " absorb" or even two-become-one-with are not too far off.
Aphrodite Macbain: Speaking of looking at art work, Did you visit Leonardo's Last Supper QT?
    Qt Core: tomorrow :-)
    Aphrodite Macbain: yayy
    Bruce Mowbray: Yayyy!
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hiya druth!
    druth Vlodovic: hey all y'all
Bruce Mowbray: Made a space for you, druth.
    Aphrodite Macbain: aww Bruce

    Zon Kwan: hi Druth
Bruce Mowbray: (If druth comes closer, maybe I can absorb part of her . . .
    druth Vlodovic: ummm
Bruce Mowbray: now, let's see you explain that, Aph!
    Bruce Mowbray: Yikes!
    Aphrodite Macbain: giggles
druth Vlodovic: Buzz look, an alien!
Bruce Mowbray: Nope, just at At-alien(!)
Aphrodite Macbain feels part of all y'all

Aphrodite Macbain: we are talking about how we come one with the universe druth

Qt Core: speaking about people absorbing art, yesterday, during the day three 1300 paintings 1400 were stole in Milan during the opening hours of the museum
    Aphrodite Macbain: OMG
Aphrodite Macbain: you mean from the 13th and 14th centuries?
    Bruce Mowbray: Yikes!
    Bruce Mowbray: Cimabue?
    Bruce Mowbray: Giotto?
Qt Core: Anonymous, they say they are worth "only" 25000 euros
Aphrodite Macbain: How on earth did they manage that?
Qt Core: (they were the only ones not monitored)
druth Vlodovic: maybe they just got overly absorbed

    Aphrodite Macbain: lol

Zon Kwan: we come one by feeling connection
    Bruce Mowbray: Well said, Zon.
Bruce Mowbray: AFK for just a sec.... be right back.
Aphrodite Macbain: yes Zon, good observation
Aphrodite Macbain: but how does that feel? how do we recognize that feeling
Zon Kwan: Aph, have you ever fallen in love?
Aphrodite Macbain: yes - but would I fall in love with a bamboo tree?
Qt Core: the few times i felt connected (and usually overwhelmed) to anything i didn't find that but was found
Bruce Mowbray loves the notion of "being found."
    Aphrodite Macbain: nice
Aphrodite Macbain: you can't plan it
Bruce Mowbray: of "finding" oneself "being found."
Aphrodite Macbain: but you have to be open
Aphrodite Macbain: and ready to "be found"
Qt Core: at most one can hope, even expect is useless
Bruce Mowbray: So, Aph, this "being open" business --- is that part of the softness and the absorption?
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Aphrodite Macbain: It must be, but "being open" is a metaphor
Bruce Mowbray: I agree. In men's work a couple of decades ago, the big buzzword was " vulnerability."
Aphrodite Macbain: I suppose it is all about dropping one's attitudes
Bruce Mowbray: I don't think it has to do with vulnerability at all, though. I think it has to do with softness....
Aphrodite Macbain: but softness in what way?
Zon Kwan: i think in opening eyes
Bruce Mowbray: I know when my heart is soft, and I know when it is hard. I prefer it to be soft.
Aphrodite Macbain: opening eyes . really looking. paying attention?
    Zon Kwan: not emotional
    Aphrodite Macbain: not emotional?
    Zon Kwan: no
Bruce Mowbray hums, "Hard-hearted Hanna, the Vamp of Savannah..." (softly hums).
Aphrodite Macbain: being soft and hard is very much to do with emotions, no?
Bruce Mowbray: for sure... but I think emotions are the result of the heart's softness, not the reason for it.
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Bruce Mowbray: it's a little bit like what Zon said earlier: one softens one's heart and then finds that she has been found by some . . . something.

    The intelligent brain

Aphrodite Macbain: although I would place most of what happens in the brain....
Bruce Mowbray: now who's being scientific?
    Aphrodite Macbain: lol *grins*
    Aphrodite Macbain: moi
Aphrodite Macbain: I cant think about this in any other way
Bruce Mowbray: I am reading a wonderful book right now entitled " Superintelligence"
    Aphrodite Macbain: oh?
Bruce Mowbray: and one of the ways super intelligence is achieved, which is discussed by the book, would be full brain emulation ( physically)...
    Zon Kwan: by whom?
Bruce Mowbray: my suspicion is that once we can make brains identical to human brains in every single respect down to the last molecule, we will still not have achieved -- made a machine capable of -- feeling emotions the way we are feeling them here today.
    Aphrodite Macbain: no
Aphrodite Macbain: we need the body too. All those hormones running around making our hearts beat faster and our blood run colder
Bruce Mowbray: that machine called a brain. . . . that physical object called a brain . . . is not really what I mean by " softness" or ability to absorb, or become one with the things around us.
Qt Core: and then there are people that thinks that the matter/structure of the single neuron isn't the magic of our brain, but the connections between them and there is no need to replicating that basic level
Bruce Mowbray: so it's like a neural plasma?
    Aphrodite Macbain: say more Qt?
Bruce Mowbray listens for more from QT.
    Aphrodite Macbain: synapses?
Bruce Mowbray: like heat lightning -- forming waves of energy throughout the brain?
Qt Core: just listened to something briefly on the radio, the single neuron isn't the thing needed, but the connections, we can use normal computers to emulate them
    Qt Core: yes, Aph
    Bruce Mowbray: hmm.. neural networks.
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Bruce Mowbray: with lots and lots and lots of nodes.
Aphrodite Macbain: each synapse is the magic that can't be reproduced
druth Vlodovic: the connections can be a bit mushy too, since there are both signal and chemical components
Aphrodite Macbain: can u remember who was speaking Qt?

Qt Core: no, as always they say the names at the beginning when you aren't yet interested and never repeat them
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
    Aphrodite Macbain: rats

Qt Core: some say we could emulate a brain for 2025, others says that we could do that today with the best supercomputers
Aphrodite Macbain thinks about mushy synapses - is it like when I wake up in the morning?

Aphrodite Macbain: I've been reading about this Qt - but they observe that we need our bodies to experience things
Bruce Mowbray: If you're really interested in this artificial intelligence business, as I am, I would strongly recommend the book "Superintelligence" --- he discusses many possibilities, including predicting when the " singularity" or "crossover" will occur --- when machines actually become more intelligent than their human inventors.
Aphrodite Macbain: thanks Bruce. who is the writer?
druth Vlodovic: I suspect that the entire body, having nerve endings and chemical sources can be said to be part of the mind-producing part of the body

    Aphrodite Macbain: Yes druth!
    Qt Core: Hi Wol
    Zon Kwan: hi Wol
    druth Vlodovic: 'evening wol
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Wol!
    Wol Euler: evening all

Aphrodite Macbain: Wol we are talking about what it feels like to be one with the universe. No boundaries

Bruce Mowbray: although this is on a different topic. . . the author (Borstrom??) says that once the machine becomes more intelligent than the humans, it will quickly develop machines superior to itself and a very rapid increase will happen. . . and the human species will no longer be in charge.
druth Vlodovic: are we in charge now?
Aphrodite Macbain: synapses happen in the brain that trigger the release of hormones like cortisol, which stimulate actions throughout the body

Qt Core: and exchange little electrical currents that are the real substance of thoughts
Aphrodite Macbain: are we in charge?
    Bruce Mowbray: http://www.amazon.com/Superintellige.../dp/0199678111
Bruce Mowbray: (in charge of making the artificial intelligence, I meant.) --- the super intelligence(s) will make its (their) own " brains" -- far more efficiently and far more intelligent than human inventors.
druth Vlodovic: but why would they do that?
Qt Core: who/what would give goals to those brains ?

Bruce Mowbray: no, I got off-topic...
    Bruce Mowbray: sorry.
    druth Vlodovic: snap w QT
Bruce Mowbray: I'd love to get back to feeling one with the universe though.
    druth Vlodovic: 'k
Zon Kwan: who gives them to us?
    Qt Core: :-) druth
    Aphrodite Macbain: who or what?
druth Vlodovic: I think I understand what you mean by softness though, the ability to allow the universe to impress itself upon you
Bruce Mowbray: again, druth, excellently stated.

    Laws of robotics

Qt Core: we really need the three laws of robotics (oh, and the zero law too)
    Aphrodite Macbain: omg
    Aphrodite Macbain: back to science
Bruce Mowbray " I got you under my skin...."....
Qt Core: (science fiction, aph, those are by Asimov)
    Bruce Mowbray: humms...
Aphrodite Macbain: note: skin. Part of the body, not the brain
    Aphrodite Macbain: ah thanks Qt
druth Vlodovic: lol, the zeroth law is too often incompatible with the first, which is what happened to the robot who discovered it
Bruce Mowbray: note skin: always sloughing off to be shared by everyone nearby.
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
    Bruce Mowbray: :))
Aphrodite Macbain: what is the zero law?
druth Vlodovic: the skin is certainly part of the thought process at times :-P
    Qt Core: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laws_of_robotics
    Aphrodite Macbain: >:-) druth
druth Vlodovic: "not to inflict harm upon humanity, or by inaction to allow it to come to harm"
Aphrodite Macbain: can u summarize Qt?
Bruce Mowbray: In later books, a zeroth law was introduced: 0. A robot may not harm humanity, or, by inaction, allow humanity to come to harm.
Aphrodite Macbain: that is Zero Law?
    Qt Core: yes
druth Vlodovic: a very dangerous creed to be developed by a person who escaped communist Russia
    Aphrodite Macbain: nice
    Bruce Mowbray: excellently stated, Aph!
    Aphrodite Macbain: nice?
Bruce Mowbray: but Asimov wrote those things in novels - before the concept of super intelligence was around.
Wol Euler: just another instance of prescience on his part :)
Qt Core: mmm, reading his multivac short novels he thought of that too
Bruce Mowbray: suppose a super intelligence recognized that human beings were analogous to a " cancer"? --- and then took some " medical" measures to correct the situation....
Aphrodite Macbain whispers: what I am trying to understand is how we become "one with the cosmos", what it feels like and what it involves (and is it even possible)
Bruce Mowbray: there is a whole lot of evidence that human beings are not behaving intelligently - - - not even taking care of their own nests.
druth Vlodovic: and most of the short stories were about the laws going wrong
Bruce Mowbray: let alone of each other.
Aphrodite Macbain: "behaving intelligently"=? who defines what that is?
Qt Core: what fun is there when everything goes as planned, druth ? ;-)
druth Vlodovic: that would depend on your idea of "universal health" Bruce
Bruce Mowbray hums " We Are the Cosmos" -- We are the children.... we are the ones who make a better day . .
Bruce Mowbray: the super intelligence decides what that is!
Aphrodite Macbain: I don't think this concept of becoming one with the cosmos has to do with just "intelligence" or rational minds
    Bruce Mowbray listens carefully toAph.
druth Vlodovic: in cthon a super intelligence decides that all life is a cancer, but then why not extend the idea to all chemical reaction, as some of Moorcock's characters did?
    Bruce Mowbray: nods, understand.....
    Aphrodite Macbain: shrugs
    Aphrodite Macbain: and doesn't understand

Qt Core: something being connected/one with the cosmos is realizing how insignificant one is and how the cosmos does not (and does not have/need) to notice
Aphrodite Macbain: nods Which is a frightening recognition Qt and humbling

Qt Core: (how i feel when in a particular bad mood on a sunny day, usually)

    Aphrodite Macbain: lol Qt
    Bruce Mowbray: yepper.
Bruce Mowbray: I would imagine that a super intelligence would base its reasoning upon past experience --- what has been more efficient? what has produce the best results?? was been most cost-effective? I'm not sure that the human species would measure up too well by those standards.
druth Vlodovic: lol, Moorcock had a universe of Law (ending in timeless entropy) vs chaos (ending in total impermanence); although total impermanence would be a kind of timeless entropy
Bruce Mowbray: "total impermanence" -- meaning nothing lasts for... How long?
druth Vlodovic: but what would it do for a purpose?
druth Vlodovic: such matters tend to be a game of the young and inexperienced
Zon Kwan: drop of sea is not insignificant, it contains all that sea does
    Qt Core: being the sea

Aphrodite Macbain: Is there a purpose? Need there be one?
    druth Vlodovic: x-actly
Bruce Mowbray: nothing lasts for even a nano-second?
Zon Kwan: to be and widened consciousness
Bruce Mowbray: "purpose" is a FEELING.
Aphrodite Macbain: whose purpose is that?
    Zon Kwan: ours
    Zon Kwan: life's
Zon Kwan: that we are part of

druth Vlodovic: any form is a cage, a prison for the intellect
Aphrodite Macbain: what do you think Wol?
Bruce Mowbray: Try to find it anywhere... even in insect instinctive behavior... I'll bet you can't.
    Aphrodite Macbain: nods at Zon
Bruce Mowbray: "Purpose" is a decision (compelled or otherwise) to feel directed toward some goal or end.
druth Vlodovic: "we don't need to do anything but respirate, ingest nutrients and expel waste" - Sheldon
    Bruce Mowbray: to feel focused.
Aphrodite Macbain: the writer I'm referring to said that we should become the ground upon which we are the figure. Blend in rather than stand out. A bit like the wave and the ocean.
    Zon Kwan: waves to all
    Aphrodite Macbain: waves at Zon
    druth Vlodovic: ttfn zon
    Bruce Mowbray: Bye Zon!

Aphrodite Macbain: there must be more to life than that druth
Aphrodite Macbain: let's focus on what we would need to do to be absorbed into the "ground"
Bruce Mowbray: We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. ---- Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (Is that what you are driving at, Aph?)
Aphrodite Macbain: Dropping our singular identity, our ego, came to mind
Bruce Mowbray: those are methods, to be sure.
    Aphrodite Macbain: nice Bruce
    druth Vlodovic: loosing expectation
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Bruce Mowbray: but what if one could find one's identity IN the cosmos itself?
Bruce Mowbray: AS the cosmos itself.
    Aphrodite Macbain: interesting question..
Aphrodite Macbain: we ARE the whole
Aphrodite Macbain: as well as a part of it
Bruce Mowbray: I am these goldfinches feeding on sunflower seeds 4 feet in front of my typist's keyboard.
Bruce Mowbray: I am the sunflower seeds.
Bruce Mowbray: I am the keyboard.
Aphrodite Macbain: It feels so theoretical to me - but I like the images Bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: Yikes!
    Aphrodite Macbain: especially the goldfinches
Bruce Mowbray: OMG! Don't tell me I have to become my typist too!!!!!
Aphrodite Macbain: yes, and its keyboard
    Wol Euler smiles.
Bruce Mowbray: Tell me how it is possible for the keyboard to make sounds that are absorbed by my typist ears --- and yet for my typist not to become part of that keyboard.
    Aphrodite Macbain: I can't
Bruce Mowbray: Alas, neither can I.... so I become the keyboard.
Bruce Mowbray: and the typist. (PEWWWWW!)
    druth Vlodovic: ephemeral attachments
Bruce Mowbray: Aren't all attachments ephemeral, druth?
Aphrodite Macbain: and why I do feel connected to all of you even tho you are little coloured representations of fictional characters
    Wol Euler raises an eyebrow.
druth Vlodovic: lol, become the whole muffin, not the donut
    Aphrodite Macbain: lol
Bruce Mowbray: nor the hole in the doughnut!
Aphrodite Macbain: the yeast is rising ....
Bruce Mowbray: Be thou leavened, my dear.
druth Vlodovic: don't leave a hole where you should be, after all the keyboard has you as a component as well
Aphrodite Macbain: Perhaps I can be the jelly
    Bruce Mowbray: yes!
Bruce Mowbray: yes yes yes yes!
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes?
Bruce Mowbray: Druth has seen the light!
    druth Vlodovic: eek!
Bruce Mowbray: I am the keyboard's!
Aphrodite Macbain: blinded by the light?
Bruce Mowbray: I am the planet's!
Bruce Mowbray: I am the goldfinches'!
Aphrodite Macbain: all those fingers banging away at you!
Bruce Mowbray: I belong to the light! to be found like that . . . to be found by the light, be found by the birds, to be found by the keyboard.... this is ecstasy.
    Aphrodite Macbain: grins at Bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: grins at himself.
    Bruce Mowbray: Mirrors mirrors everywhere.....
    Bruce Mowbray: Aph seems stunned.
    Aphrodite Macbain: I can't speak - I'm over come

Aphrodite Macbain: Gotta go. I'll continue the conversation next week if you like.....
    druth Vlodovic: hugs aph
    druth Vlodovic: have fun
Bruce Mowbray: Well, Aph. You asked how our sessions went with Eliza, right?
Bruce Mowbray: and now you know.
    Aphrodite Macbain: wonderful!
    Bruce Mowbray: !!!
    Qt Core: bye Aph
Aphrodite Macbain: You all make up my universe and made it work!
    Aphrodite Macbain: thanks :-)
Bruce Mowbray: so very glad to have you here on Monday!
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Wol Euler: bye aph, take care
Bruce Mowbray: .... she asked how Eliza conducts her sessions . . .
Bruce Mowbray: and I had the audacity to answer....
    Bruce Mowbray: .. . . . from goldfinches . . . to super intelligence . .. to keyboards. . . . and everywhere in between.
Bruce Mowbray: I will be so happy if Aphrodite is willing to take this session.
Bruce Mowbray: that would mean we would not have to move Original Face from Wednesday afternoons, after all.
Bruce Mowbray: allies (Eliza) would take Aphrodite's session on Thursdays; Aphrodite would take Eliza's session on Mondays, and Original Face would stay where it is - on Wednesday afternoons.
Bruce Mowbray: who would've thought that we'd have a traffic jam like this....?
    Wol Euler: who is "allies"?
Wol Euler: and what will Eliza do? nothing?
Bruce Mowbray looks back for references to "allies"....
Bruce Mowbray: know allies you would take Aphrodite session on Thursday!
    Bruce Mowbray: no*
    Bruce Mowbray: Eliza*****
    Wol Euler: ah
    Wol Euler: ty
    Bruce Mowbray: darn the Dragon!
    Wol Euler: got it now
Bruce Mowbray: sorry. it typed allies for Eliza.
Bruce Mowbray: I should always remember to proofread things before I hit the enter key.
Wol Euler: yes, its mistakes are easy to tell apart from human ones
Bruce Mowbray: pretty scary, isn't it?

Bruce Mowbray: and you know how that goes.
Bruce Mowbray: Bye for now, good people.
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: bye bruce, bon appetit
    Qt Core: bye Bruce
Wol Euler: I should head off too
Wol Euler: goodnight all, take care
Qt Core: me too 'night Wol, druth
    druth Vlodovic: 'night Qt
