The Guardian for this meeting was Mickorod Renard...

    Mickorod Renard: Hi bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Mick!
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Mickorod Renard: good dream last week
Bruce Mowbray: I hope you have another great dream for us today.
Mickorod Renard: well, I think someone else had one ready
    Bruce Mowbray: Oh?
Mickorod Renard: but I have opions *options
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
Bruce Mowbray: It's good to have options and opions, too.
Mickorod Renard: I just rushed back from golf for the session,,getting my breath back
    Bruce Mowbray: Ahhh!
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Bruce Mowbray: WAYYY too warm here today for golf -- or anything else outside.
Mickorod Renard: hot here to at the mom
Bruce Mowbray is checking the outside thermometer....

    --BELL--

Mickorod Renard: I had someone drop me a dream incognito
    Bruce Mowbray: Cool!
Mickorod Renard: it reminded me a little of your dream
Bruce Mowbray: (not outside, but that someone would do that.)
Mickorod Renard: but then it reminded me of the fact that i tend to look at someone elses dreams from my perspective,,which is diferent
Bruce Mowbray: Since it's incognito, it could probably be posted on the wiki - unless Eliza/you don't want to do that.

    Wol Euler: evening all
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Bleu.
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Wol
Bruce Mowbray: No -- it's Wol!
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Wol.
Wol Euler: well, we do look alike
Bruce Mowbray: (I saw white and assumed it was Bleu... ) no pun intended.
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Mickorod Renard: he he
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
Mickorod Renard: is it hot where you are Wol?
Wol Euler: not at the moment, last weekend was 30° but it cooled off drastically this week
Wol Euler: 24 or so was the high today
    Wol Euler: hello eliza
    Mickorod Renard: ahh.....warm here today
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: Howdy dreamers
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Eliza!
Mickorod Renard: Hows it going Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: Oh okay. Someone important to me is in hospital longer than she should be.. so a tad preoccupied
    Wol Euler: oh dear
    Bruce Mowbray: oh dear.

Mickorod Renard: I had been saying to Bruce that when I read someones dream I tend to look at it through my own eyes,,as if it were mine
    Bruce Mowbray: Saint S...?
Eliza Madrigal: oh, interesting. me too I think
    Mickorod Renard: owww,,sorry Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: yes Bruce :(
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, aggers!
    Wol Euler: hello aggers
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Aggers
    Agatha Macbeth: Bonjour la classe
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Agatha
    Wol Euler: bonjour-la madame!
    Bruce Mowbray: Bonjour!
Mickorod Renard: perhaps I should ask if anyone has a dream they would like to share?
    Bruce Mowbray: not I, ty.
Agatha Macbeth: Wow did I see see Ara just come on?
Eliza Madrigal: in Lucy's group, when they relate a dream they don't say "I dreamed..." but "The dreamer dreamed" so that everyone experiences it as own, in a sense, or no one's
    Wol Euler: sadly, no
    Eliza Madrigal: nor me today
Mickorod Renard: ahh thats interesting Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Ara :)

Mickorod Renard: well..I had one I saved from last week,,but I do have one someone in incognito wanted me to hand out
    Agatha Macbeth: Arababe! :)
    arabella Ella: Hiya everyone!
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Ara!
    Wol Euler: sounds good!
    Wol Euler: hello ara
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Ara
    Agatha Macbeth: Still blonde
Eliza Madrigal: ok, could look at those two?
    arabella Ella smiles
    Mickorod Renard: ok great
Mickorod Renard: I shall try and hand it out
Eliza Madrigal suddenly wonders how Wester is doing, hm
Agatha Macbeth: Ooh is this a dream?
    Bruce Mowbray: ty.
    Agatha Macbeth: Cheers Mick
Bruce Mowbray: (Just drag the nc from you inventory to each of us and drop it there, Mick...)
    Bruce Mowbray: Got it, thanks!
Mickorod Renard: has everyone got it?
    arabella Ella: yes ty
Eliza Madrigal: yes I have one
    Wol Euler nods.
    Bruce Mowbray nods, and reads.

    BEGINNING...

    Agatha Macbeth: 'Call me Al'
Agatha Macbeth: At first I read that as Artificial Intelligence
    Mickorod Renard: ah yes
    Eliza Madrigal: me too :)
    Agatha Macbeth grins
Mickorod Renard: maybe its a dream pun
Wol Euler: how odd that I didn't, then :)
    Agatha Macbeth pulls Wol's antlers
arabella Ella nods me too thought it was AI

    Agatha Macbeth: Heheh
Mickorod Renard: when I first read the dream it reminded me of bruces last week
Agatha Macbeth: Which I sadly missed
Bruce Mowbray: [done reading -- now listening]
arabella Ella: I sadly missed it too
Mickorod Renard: like as if it was dealing with changing priorities

Wol Euler: ah, now I understand why people have been talking over the bell! By default IMs from objects (not people) are that awful brown colour, very hard to read against grey window background.
Bruce Mowbray: (It's on the wiki, if you missed it.... Back to listening, again.)
Agatha Macbeth: In my case It's cos I muted it :p
Eliza Madrigal: I keep missing the bell, but in this case it was due to having eyes off, reading

    --BELL--

    Mickorod Renard: me too
Eliza Madrigal: and volume down earlier
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Darren
Mickorod Renard: so,,any views on this dream?
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Darren.
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Darren
arabella Ella: the brown script is not very easy to read
    arabella Ella: Hiya Darren!
Eliza Madrigal: I feel a little exhausted by the dream :)
    Mickorod Renard: Hi darren
Mickorod Renard: yes, I can see that in the dream
Bruce Mowbray: Some 'rejection anxiety' in the dream -- which I also have in my dreams, btw.
Eliza Madrigal: trying to figure out group/friend in and out dynamics is something I feel tired by
    Eliza Madrigal nods Bruce
Eliza Madrigal: I wonder about the car's role, and signs
Mickorod Renard: yes, I felt that it was a hanging onto something that may have passed its time

Agatha Macbeth: Are all these people real then Mick?
    Mickorod Renard: yes they are
    Agatha Macbeth: Ooh
arabella Ella: yes me too as it seems detatched from the rest, the car, like a sort of interval?
    Agatha Macbeth: My my
Mickorod Renard: the car perhaops represents an out of control
arabella Ella: or struggling to keep control
Mickorod Renard: makes the dreamer a passenger
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Eliza Madrigal: no real smoothness, either in interactions or in managing car

    Eliza Madrigal: Hey Riddle
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Rid
    arabella Ella: Hiya Riddle!
    Wol Euler: hello riddle
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Riddle.
    Mickorod Renard: Hi riddle
    Riddle Sideways: hi All
Mickorod Renard: Riddle, would you like a copy of a dream?
    Riddle Sideways: ok
    Riddle Sideways sits quietly
Mickorod Renard: we are just chatting ideas about it

Mickorod Renard: knowing the person who had the dream,,I would say they were about the same age or so as me
Wol Euler: I wonder why Al cared? I don't believe that he was part of the group that was directly affected. Perhaps he is the writer's guilt at having skipped the party?
Mickorod Renard: so there abouts 60
Eliza Madrigal: good point, curious about who AL represents too
arabella Ella: yes it would be interesting to know more about Al
Mickorod Renard: I think Al must represent what appeared important at some stage,,like influencial
Mickorod Renard: an important character in real life
arabella Ella: the two people on horseback also sound as though they don't fit into the picture
Eliza Madrigal: someone the dreamer wanted to impress or at least not embarrass themself in front of

Mickorod Renard: the car bit was a sort of anxiety /cluseyness?
    Mickorod Renard: clunsey*
    arabella Ella: clumsy?
Mickorod Renard: well..you know what I meean
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Mickorod Renard: yeppers
    Agatha Macbeth: Clunsey typing
    Mickorod Renard: he he
arabella Ella: sounded a bit like George Clumsy ...
    arabella Ella: oooops Clooney

Mickorod Renard: I fancy, like in Bruces,,I look through my eyes..i am this age..I am shifting my values
Agatha Macbeth: George Clumsy sounds better
    arabella Ella smiles
Eliza Madrigal nods re those on horseback... seeing others moving in a different way/pace while being in a car that is not quite in control
Mickorod Renard: friends shouldnt be people one needs to impress anymore
    Wol Euler: 42.
Eliza Madrigal: was Al a friend? doesn't seem that way in intro
Mickorod Renard: yes, Eliza..2 mediums horses and cars,,diferent attitudes
Wol Euler: I didn't get that feeling either, I think he was a respected outsider

Mickorod Renard: Al although real could represent a society
    Wol Euler: representing "society"
    Wol Euler: snap
    Eliza Madrigal: yes!
    Mickorod Renard: yes!
arabella Ella: he also sounds like a person in authority
    Eliza Madrigal: snap haha

Mickorod Renard: someone who could have slowed down progression in the past
Bruce Mowbray ponders symbolism of "rich businessman..."
Eliza Madrigal: so the means to benefit in some way
Mickorod Renard: Yes, This is where I think,,perhaps those values are no longer relevant
Mickorod Renard: the dreamer is beginning to recognise this shift
    Wol Euler nods.

Eliza Madrigal: maybe the dreamer has the sense the friends don't have their best interests at heart
Wol Euler: yes, the scare quotes seem to be earned there
arabella Ella whispers it is green now not brown
Wol Euler: because that is public chat not an IM :)
Wol Euler: perhaps I'll make the shushings public too
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Riddle Sideways: Al is professional life and friends are social life and two should not mix in dreamers eyes

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: yes maybe it is awkward, like a surprise party or facebook where various contexts overlap
Mickorod Renard: ahh..thats a diferent take
arabella Ella: yes also perhaps because Al as part of the dreamer's professional life gets mixed up in the dreamer's personal life?
Bruce Mowbray: I think that the dreamer sees Al as a "controller" --- someone who wants to impede the freedoms of others in order to maintain his own power..., but who also depends on receiving information from others. . . in order to remain a "controller."
Bruce Mowbray: (Maybe I've been reading too much James Hillman -- if that's even possible.)
    Bruce Mowbray listens.
Eliza Madrigal: odd when we can't ask the dreamer their own sense :)
Riddle Sideways: (Maybe I've been reading too much Angelia Davis -- if that's even possible)
    Wol Euler nods.
    arabella Ella: yes odd
    Bruce Mowbray: :)

Mickorod Renard: i wonder too..whether the dreamer feels trapped in a social circle that means keeping up with the pretenses and that its now dificult to keep motivated
Agatha Macbeth doesn't know either of them
    arabella Ella neither Aggers :)
Eliza Madrigal: that's what I feel of the dream, that they are reevaluating loyalties
    Agatha Macbeth: Phew
Wol Euler: as is the dreamer, and that's where Al comes in (for me)
Bruce Mowbray: [James Hillman -- Jungian psychologist. Angela Davis - radical Black Panther from the 60's.)
Mickorod Renard: things change in life
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe it's a 'getting towards 60' thing
Wol Euler: he is the voice of the dreamer's slightly unhappy, guilty conscience
    Mickorod Renard: yep
Eliza Madrigal nods... can see that

arabella Ella: oh yes Angela now rings a bell
arabella Ella: but a dim vague one
    Agatha Macbeth: Ding
Bruce Mowbray: She was a bell-ringer, for sure.
Mickorod Renard: I am unfamiliar with this story
Riddle Sideways: (good book - of speeches)

Bruce Mowbray: What do you think the dreamer really wants, though?
    Riddle Sideways sorry. damaged session
arabella Ella: it could be (back to the dream) a reassessment of loyalties
    Eliza Madrigal: friendships
Mickorod Renard: thats a good point
    Eliza Madrigal: rest
Bruce Mowbray nods, agrees with Eliza and ara.
arabella Ella: may be also a reassessment of friendships
    Mickorod Renard: time to re-evaluate?
    arabella Ella: vulnerability too perhaps
Bruce Mowbray: Maybe the dreamer is looking for friends (and businessmen) whom she can trust....
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Mickorod Renard: I suppose we all want that
    Wol Euler nods.
    arabella Ella nods too
Bruce Mowbray: or whom HE can trust... not knowing who the dreamer is, of course.

Eliza Madrigal: sometimes one invests in relationships that later on reveal themselves to be shallow or to have shifted when one wasn't looking
Mickorod Renard: it is a she
Wol Euler: interseting that you said "she", becaue I too think it's a woman
Eliza Madrigal: I had a friend once who was wonderful to me unless we were at an event, then they ignored me
Mickorod Renard: rather'the dreamer is a she'
    Bruce Mowbray: oh dear....
    Wol Euler: that's nasty, eliza
    Bruce Mowbray agrees with Wol.
Eliza Madrigal: lots have that experience with people...
Eliza Madrigal: she was just insecure
    Wol Euler nods.
Eliza Madrigal: I don't know how conscious she herself was of it
    Eliza Madrigal shrugs

arabella Ella: if the dreamer is a she interesting to see that it may be a male-female thing when Al gets angry at her in a sort of male domination way possibly
Riddle Sideways: why does the gender of dreamer matter?
Bruce Mowbray: I don't think it does matter, Riddle.
Mickorod Renard: no, I dont think it matters
Eliza Madrigal: there is something about the way the dreamer is paying attention to so many people simultaneously that makes me think might be female
Wol Euler: I don't think that it does, but I noticed that I believed that she was a woman
arabella Ella: it is a detail I suppose
    Eliza Madrigal: just impression
arabella Ella: in a complex web
    Mickorod Renard: mmm yes
Riddle Sideways: was thinking it a meaningless detail
Bruce Mowbray: me too, Wol... also interesting that 'she' calls it a "power nap"...
Riddle Sideways: but it seems to help ya'll tell the story

Mickorod Renard: yes, I think it would be usefull to recognise that although she would be at this age around 60 she would still be an influencial and busy person
Eliza Madrigal: it is stereotype perhaps but women often do read into layers of social signals in a distinct way
Bruce Mowbray: I don't think - upon yet another reading of the dream - that it's about a "party" at all. I think it's about a relationship.
Bruce Mowbray: or, maybe several relationships.
    Eliza Madrigal nods
    arabella Ella nods
Bruce Mowbray: and that the "party" is simply the context that the dream took...
    Wol Euler nods to Bruce
Mickorod Renard: yes, I thjink its more about whether to play the influence game at the cost of changing thoughts and views on what constitutes friends
arabella Ella: yes the party sounds more background and in the foreground I see quite a few emotions
Eliza Madrigal: whether to play along, nods

    --BELL--

Bruce Mowbray: I agree with the dreamer, though -- I don't like folks to talk about me behind my back either.
Bruce Mowbray: (I do enough talking about myself behind my back... already.)
Eliza Madrigal: they must have been comfortable or at least taken part in the dynamic at some point though... and does it only bother them now that they are left out?
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes we outgrow patterns
    Eliza Madrigal: Bruce :P
    arabella Ella nods
    Agatha Macbeth: Hm
Mickorod Renard: yes Eliza, I think this is evident in the dream,,that this once was acceptable..and now not so much
    Bruce Mowbray: hmmm.
arabella Ella: and sometimes patters whch have become established need to be reevaluated
    Eliza Madrigal: indeed
Eliza Madrigal: there is a "no longer my world" feeling

Mickorod Renard: ok,,interesting that we managed to test a dream out without the actual dreamer being in control of the discussion
Agatha Macbeth: Seems to work well enough
Riddle Sideways: could assault the dreamer without hurting our friend
    Mickorod Renard: yes
Bruce Mowbray ponders Dorothy and Toto in Oz.... "I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore..."
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Bruce Mowbray: re "no longer my world feeling"
Eliza Madrigal: nice experiment. I like being able to ask about the dreamer's feelings and intuitions though
    arabella Ella: yes nice experiment
    Bruce Mowbray: me too, Eliza.
Mickorod Renard: I think it was a good exercise because some folks may not wish their dreams to be associated with themselves
Riddle Sideways: is this the point at which one of us admits to it being their's?
Wol Euler: perhaps she is here among us? *looks about curiously*
Mickorod Renard: yet want some chat about it
Eliza Madrigal: those who partake in a session like this show their own mind in interpretations and impressions as much as anything
Bruce Mowbray: Curious that "he/she" feels "embarrassment" -- rather than ethical indignation, especially since ethical issues have been violated by Al and others, apparently.

Agatha Macbeth: So it wasn't your dream then Mick?
Mickorod Renard: no it wasnt my own
    Eliza Madrigal: hm ethical?
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
arabella Ella: I was gonna as the same question too Aggers!
arabella Ella: You beat me to it
Mickorod Renard: but I am honoured that someone is happy to have us play with it
    Wol Euler: agreed, mick
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Agatha Macbeth: Only took me 50 minutes to work that out :p
Bruce Mowbray: (given to Mick incognito...)
Wol Euler: in fairness you did come late-ish
Mickorod Renard: I will give them feedback

Eliza Madrigal: it changes the nature of a party when the boss attends
Bruce Mowbray: I wonder if the dreamer would consent to having the dream posted in the wiki, Mick (and Eliza.)
    arabella Ella: yes it does
arabella Ella: as also does the mix of professional and social
Agatha Macbeth: Yes you can't talk about him...
    Bruce Mowbray: good point, Eliza.
Eliza Madrigal: well then whatever you do you are super aware that they are there
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Eliza Madrigal: that's how it feels in the dream
Wol Euler: on the other hand, there is that wonderful relief when the boss leaves :)
    Eliza Madrigal: hehehe
Wol Euler: which is kind of a team-building moment :)
    arabella Ella: he he
Eliza Madrigal nods... but then one feels sorry if the boss needs friends and can never get off of boss pedestal
Mickorod Renard: it does make one wonder though, what the mind is playing out in the dream,,and what its hoping to discover
Bruce Mowbray: Curious that it's not just ANY party -- but a birthday party . . . Perhaps more poignant for the dreamer... (more vulnerability, aging, etc.?)
Bruce Mowbray: Two birthday parties, actually.
Mickorod Renard: yes, and a reference to the dreamers past birthday

Eliza Madrigal: "never make someone a priority when all you are to them is an option" is a phrase used. I don't agree with it...but hard not to feel that way at times
Mickorod Renard: def an age thing going on I think,,not so much age but a maturity perhaps?
    Eliza Madrigal nods
arabella Ella: what does that mean Eliza?
Wol Euler: there is such sadness in that casually-thrown-out line about nobody remembering her birthday. I think it was far more important than she lets on
    arabella Ella: scuse my ignorance
Bruce Mowbray nods, agrees with Mick.
arabella Ella: but it sounds interesting yet confusing
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes someone can do anything for a friend who doesn't really place same value
Eliza Madrigal: so the dreamer said here I am at bday party but mine was ignored
arabella Ella: oh i see thanks!
Mickorod Renard: yes, thats a point..the feeling of lack of recognition
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Eliza Madrigal: personally I think that level of equal exchange relationship can't be kept up with, but it is a feeling
Mickorod Renard: but..that could just be a state of mind rather than a loss of credability
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
    Mickorod Renard: yes Eliza

Mickorod Renard: well..that was fun, thankyou
    Wol Euler: indeed
    Mickorod Renard: thankyou everyone
    Agatha Macbeth: Thank YOU Mick
    Eliza Madrigal: thanks Mick, everybody
Agatha Macbeth: Glad we're back doing this
Eliza Madrigal: if friend says we can post dream, I'm happy to add it
Agatha Macbeth: Shame Max can't be here
    Mickorod Renard: ok great
Bruce Mowbray: Thanks, Mick and Eliza.
arabella Ella: thank you Mick, lovely to have the dreams sessions being run again!
Bruce Mowbray: I miss Maxine, too.
    Eliza Madrigal: ::claps:::
    Agatha Macbeth: clap
Eliza Madrigal: Any chance at tappign on Pila's shoulder
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: ?
Wol Euler: thank you mick, and all
    Agatha Macbeth: ***** APPPPPPPLLLLAAAUUUSSSSeeee***********
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, how is Pila?
Mickorod Renard: yes, I miss maxine too,,and Pila
    Riddle Sideways: thank you, mick
Eliza Madrigal: he may not know dreams are meeting again
arabella Ella: It would be lovely to see Pila again
    Eliza Madrigal nods

    --BELL--

    Agatha Macbeth: It would
Agatha Macbeth: Find out how his volcano is
Mickorod Renard: I may try one of his email addresses
    Eliza Madrigal laughs
Eliza Madrigal: thanks Mick, would be nice
arabella Ella: why not try to contact Pila Mick?
    Mickorod Renard: ok will do
arabella Ella: I am sure he would be happy to hear from you
    Agatha Macbeth: Yays
Mickorod Renard: I might phone him up
arabella Ella: and please give him our best wishes
    Mickorod Renard: ok
    Riddle Sideways: ok, Ba By
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
arabella Ella: tell him we miss him!
    Eliza Madrigal: bye Riddle :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Yeh
    Mickorod Renard: bye Riddle
    arabella Ella: bye Riddle
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye rid
arabella Ella: bye Brucie (who has gone!)
Eliza Madrigal: tell him "everyone at dream session was clamouring for you"
Agatha Macbeth: Brucie went to scrape I think
    arabella Ella smiles
Mickorod Renard: yeh, dont know what happened to Bruce
    arabella Ella: scrape?
Agatha Macbeth: That's what he calls it
    Agatha Macbeth: Making dinner
    arabella Ella: he he
Agatha Macbeth: I sincerely hope he eats more than toast
Eliza Madrigal: it is a mystery

Mickorod Renard: I am sorry to hear about your friend who is sick Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: thanks Mick... friends' mom... was supposed to be home now
Mickorod Renard: is the situation getting worse?
Eliza Madrigal: but seems to be regressing
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
    Mickorod Renard: mmmmmmm
Eliza Madrigal: skin graphing (sp?) surgery tomorrow
    Eliza Madrigal: can't walk...
Eliza Madrigal: and is missing her great-granddaughter's first few days home
Agatha Macbeth: How old is she?
    Eliza Madrigal: Hm, maybe 65
arabella Ella: that is sad news Eliza, in my thoughts!
    Eliza Madrigal: thank you
    Mickorod Renard: not so old
Agatha Macbeth: Oh dear, not ancient
Eliza Madrigal: she is a lovely woman so I'm glad people are taking care of her but she's in a lot of pain
arabella Ella: sounds like a difficult situation
Eliza Madrigal: the thing is, sometimes a little thing turns really big fast
Eliza Madrigal: and this started as such a small matter
    Wol Euler nods.
    Mickorod Renard: mmm yes
Eliza Madrigal: so a bit on pins and needles until she is progressing
Wol Euler: I hope everything works out
arabella Ella: yes it sounds stressful for you too, I really hope all starts to take a turn for the better soon

Eliza Madrigal: thanks, all of us have someone whose situation is taking part of our minds I'm sure
    Wol Euler nods.
    Agatha Macbeth: Indeed
Eliza Madrigal: good thing our minds have a lot of parts :))
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Mickorod Renard: for sure
Agatha Macbeth: Not all of which work...
Eliza Madrigal: :)) some just for show
Eliza Madrigal: foyer parts of the mind
    Agatha Macbeth: 'Upgrade the firmware'
Wol Euler: like the top half of the speedometer on cars :)
    Eliza Madrigal laughs
Agatha Macbeth: The bit that shows how fast you're not going
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
    Wol Euler: exactly
Eliza Madrigal: genuine laugh out loud

arabella Ella: a question about our minds which came to my mind today - with so much info at our fingertips today, are our minds expanding or is their space limited and perhaps that is why we tend to skim over stuff rather than read everything word for word?
    Eliza Madrigal: oh, good question
Eliza Madrigal: more info and less space/time to process it in
    Wol Euler: yes
    arabella Ella: yes
Agatha Macbeth: I can't skim, I have to read every word, sometimes over and over
Wol Euler: that is definitely true, whether or not our minds are expanding
arabella Ella: even online news Aggers?
Agatha Macbeth: Often yes, but more so with books
    arabella Ella nods
Eliza Madrigal: yes, I definitely feel it... the way I used to read a book a month, now mostly articles
Agatha Macbeth: I tend to treat wikipedia like a book anyway
Mickorod Renard: perhaps the senaptic links are like a complex road system and now there are more roads they function better and quicker?
Eliza Madrigal: and how most of my friends find my articles too long
    Wol Euler: O.O
    Agatha Macbeth: TL:DR
    arabella Ella: he he
Eliza Madrigal: I think they are changing Mick, I like your optimistic view
