The Guardian for this meeting was Wol.

    Qt Core: Good morning Wol
    Wol Euler: buongiorno, Qt
Qt Core: today i'm wondering about music taste and comsumer profiling... and be grateful i don't buy the cd i gift to my sister in online shops ;-)
    Qt Core: *being
Wol Euler: ha! oh my god yes
Wol Euler: that would be awful
Wol Euler: "ooh this guy likes heavy metal AND justin bieber!"
Wol Euler: "do we have suggestions for him!!!!"
Qt Core: that is creating an awful image of a heavy metal boy band
    Wol Euler giggles.

Qt Core: even if the biggest issue is that after giving those cd to my sister i end up having to listen to them, she don't use earbuds
    Wol Euler laughs.
Wol Euler: I'm lucky that my friends and family have pretty good taste, which I carefully and tactfully help to form
Qt Core: i try and i may say that we agree on some singer/band, but she like more sentimental things after all she's a girl ;-)

    --BELL--

Qt Core: this is the singer (you may guess he had a long career) of last bought cd, in a setting you may get only in Italy ;-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zi1v_1gxdJY (praying drm gods to be merciful)
Qt Core: (the thing starts at 0:40)
Qt Core: that is in Verona at the Arena (something just a 15 years shy to be 2000 years old) : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verona_Arena
    Wol Euler listens and smiles
Qt Core: this one is his (and his now ex wife Romina Power (daughter of Tyron Power)) iconic songs : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsxwGnDfvWE
    Qt Core: titled Felicita' (Happiness)
Qt Core: a running joke is that in this duo he is the one with the higher voice (and lacking a neck)
Wol Euler: ah, that#s the context of the mention of Power in the newspaper that the boy throws away at the beginning of the first video
Wol Euler: and how odd that an American actor should have a daughter who speaks Italian
Qt Core: yes, she always had a cute accent, more so now that she spend a lot less time in italy

    Wol Euler: hallo Berti
    Qt Core: Hi Bertram!
    Wol Euler: happy sunday
    Bertram Jacobus: hi folks :-)
Bertram Jacobus: ty, same same ! ;-)
Wol Euler: we were talking about musical taste, and relatives
    Bertram Jacobus: okay ... ! :-)
Qt Core: and not using earbuds (or that would not matter)
Wol Euler: and I was going to say about sentimentality: wait and see :) it may happen to you too
    Wol Euler: :)

    --BELL--

Bertram Jacobus: what did you find out about relatives ? ;-)
Qt Core: (between me and my sister we agreed i got rationality and she got empathy so i pretty much dislike/don;t understand sentimentality ;-) )
Bertram Jacobus: i never liked to encapsulate myself from my environment, so i never wore earbuds (!) ;-) ...
    Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: I often wear them at work to prevent listening to boss and bossette arguing
    Bertram Jacobus: lol -
Bertram Jacobus: hard working conditions ! ;-)
Bertram Jacobus: can´t imagine that very well ...
Wol Euler: I am so tempted to say "this is unprofessional behaviour" and walk out

Qt Core: i use them mostly at the gym ar while shopping if i feel angry/grumpy
Bertram Jacobus: i always try to work on myself to cope with all that , drop it, let it go and such , finding the good in the difficulties etc -
Qt Core: to avoid promoters so i will not bite them ;-)
Qt Core: yes, that would be better and sometimes the music is part of the therapy, at least fighting the symptom
Bertram Jacobus: i think, to become open is better then to encapsulate
    Bertram Jacobus: yes. i agree
Qt Core: in a ideal world and/or having the time yes
Bertram Jacobus: it is a help, but going deeper, in u sis the best help : being ... ;-)

Bertram Jacobus: the buddha shall have exclaimed as he experienced enlightenment : "amazing : everything is already enlightened !" ... ;-)
    Wol Euler smiles.
Bertram Jacobus: okay ... *add* : being is "outside" as well, everywhere ... ;-)
Qt Core: playing (or not) on the light root of the word enlightened... is that because all is already lighted/enlightened ad we start from a darkened beginning or we darken ourself without noticing at some point ?
Bertram Jacobus: when we are thrown into the world so to say, normally we don´t see beeing because of our limitations we feel and live. but we can become free from that
Bertram Jacobus: we don´t see being in total, in pureness i meant - but we can come to it
    Wol Euler nods.
Bertram Jacobus: and we are part of it
Qt Core: so we just end up in a hole and just have to watch up ?
Bertram Jacobus: end up in a hole ? what does that mean ?

    --BELL--

Bertram Jacobus: ah - dying you mean ?
Qt Core: no, being born, the hole walls being the limitation you mentioned
Qt Core: with the sky upward visible
Bertram Jacobus: hole walls ... which are they ?
Qt Core: the dirt around you while being in a hole caved in the earth
Bertram Jacobus: but ... the limitations i meant are so to sayy inner limitations - clinging finally - to get rid of that, makes the difference ;-)
Bertram Jacobus: and we can reach that via meditation ( insight, becoming calm ) and an ethical life
Bertram Jacobus: ah - i like the so called lotus effect referring to dirt and such ... ;-)
Bertram Jacobus: but that must not be a limitation - as long as the conciousness of being part of being is active as well so to say -

Qt Core: say more, please, i don;t know that lotus effect
    Wol Euler listens.
Bertram Jacobus: ah - it disallows dirt - in technology it´s found meanwhile as well. buddhisms uses this term already since more then 2500 years ...
Bertram Jacobus: it´s a structure which gives no adherence or at least as few as possible
Wol Euler: oh the surface treatment
Wol Euler: self-cleaning walls and windows etc
    Bertram Jacobus: yes
Wol Euler: dirt and dust slides off
    Qt Core: ahh, ok

Wol Euler: I thought at first you mean the way that lotuses grow in slimy muddy ponds :)
Wol Euler: beauty developing out of filth
Qt Core: me too, Wol ;-)
Bertram Jacobus: thats another point, "right" ... ;-)
    Bertram Jacobus: sry -
Bertram Jacobus: and here comes my dear friend xana - please meet : wol, qt ... :-)
    Bertram Jacobus: came ... :-)
Qt Core: np, a famous italian songs say something like: "nothing was born from diamonds the flowers come from manure" :-)
xanaohh Resident: hello wol and qt :)
Wol Euler: hello Xana, welcome to Play as Being
    Qt Core: Hi Xana

    xanaohh Resident: know
Wol Euler: okay :) that notecard I just gave you tells the basics about us as a group.
Wol Euler: We record our meetings and publish them on our website, http://wiki.playasbeing.org/ , so that absent members can read what was said.
xanaohh Resident: ty, i will read it
Wol Euler: May we have your permission to include your SL name and your comments in the published record?
Qt Core: i have to go start lunch as the chicken will not roast itself...
Bertram Jacobus: may be she´s reading ... ;-)
    Qt Core: launch...

    xanaohh Resident: sounds nice :)

Wol Euler: not yet, but perhaps soon :)
    Bertram Jacobus: okay ... :-)
Wol Euler: one of the cleverest and certainly the geekiest person I know
    Bertram Jacobus: whaow
Wol Euler: built her own webserver from a Raspberry Pi kit when she got tired of paying service charges
Wol Euler: collects and restores old technology items, computers watches radios etc
    Bertram Jacobus: whaow ! :-)
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Bertram Jacobus: :-))
    xanaohh Resident: cool :)

xanaohh Resident: bertram told me little bit about the lotus, and i mentioned that the flower only grows in dirty, muddy water and it is a great symbol in buddhism
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: we too are muddy and dirty, and we too could produce beauty
Bertram Jacobus: but we are shining, being able to love and all such as well - and we do produce beauty already - but that can be more, becoming pure ... :-)

    --BELL--

    Wol Euler: mmhmm
xanaohh Resident: mhh, maybe me need the mud and dirt to produce this wonderful lotus flower :)
    xanaohh Resident: +?
    Wol Euler: definitely
Wol Euler: and that is non-duality, both-X-and-Y instead of either-X-or-Y
    xanaohh Resident: oneness?
    Wol Euler nods.
Bertram Jacobus: hmmm - so may be, we end the meeting here now ? ...
Wol Euler: it seems that way
Wol Euler: we have arrived at peaceful calmness
Bertram Jacobus: yes dear wol :-)
Wol Euler: it seems a good place to stop :)
Bertram Jacobus: ty for your attendance !!
Wol Euler: Xana, it was nice to meet you.
xanaohh Resident: nice to meet you wol, and it is okay for me to publish my comments if you like

    Bertram Jacobus: yep

    Bertram Jacobus: :-)
