    Riddle Sideways: good morning, Eden
Riddle Sideways: seems like just yesterday, we were talking here
Riddle Sideways: your avatar was here early
Eden Haiku: Soory. I was doing yoga... DidinT hear you typing :)
Riddle Sideways: :) thought your typist had gone someplace
Riddle Sideways: was betting on more coffee
Eden Haiku: I sat Eden here (in her yesterday clothes) so I could do my yoga without missing you :)
Riddle Sideways: yoga, need to do some later too. back is hurting
                   --BELL--
    Riddle Sideways: such dedication
    Riddle Sideways: to both
Eden Haiku: Would you know in which WG log is the policy about not talking politics?
    Riddle Sideways: hmmmm, never looked
Eden Haiku: I'm thinking I will edit out most of our conversation of yesterday morning. FIrst time ever I will do that..
    Riddle Sideways: Adams probably knows
    Riddle Sideways: Hello, leaping Adams
Eden Haiku: Hello morning bird Adams :)
Adams Rubble: whoops, right in the pool
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Adams Rubble: Good morning Eden and Riddle :)
    Riddle Sideways: not too wet

Eden Haiku: Would you know in which WG log is the policy about not talking politics?Dear Adams
Adams Rubble: nope, we have always talked some about politics in election years
Adams Rubble: there are ways to skirt around it. We can talk about bullying
Adams Rubble: It got very ugly this week
Eden Haiku: OK. So if there are no names it,s ok?
Adams Rubble: what makes a person bully
Adams Rubble: the person is hurting badly
Eden Haiku: Riidle and I had a conversation without names yesterday...
Adams Rubble: of course the bullied are hurt too
Riddle Sideways: bullying would be a good topic
Riddle Sideways: name calling would be bad
Adams Rubble: this morning I was thinking that his supporters are hurting too
Riddle Sideways: yes, we never used names of the people
Adams Rubble: they all have lots of fears
    Riddle Sideways: did use pronouns
    Riddle Sideways: gender pronouns
Adams Rubble used to dress up in certain apparrel in 2008 :)
Eden Haiku: Bullying yes, a good topic and a good example we had of physical silent body-language bullying.
Eden Haiku: A beautiful peace flag Adams?
Adams Rubble: many bully their male schoolmates growing up; then they suddenly drop that and begin to bully women
Riddle Sideways: the debates split screen was perfect for watching each of them do silent body-language screaming
Eden Haiku: I remember a bit of physical bullying/ jokingly from one of my brothers when growing up. There were no boys at school. Only girls and nuns:)
Eden Haiku: Yes, body-language screaming is a good description :)
Riddle Sideways: remembering watching daughter in early school with the girl dynamics
Riddle Sideways: maybe not called bullying, but social pressure
Eden Haiku: Yes. But that was not so present when I was a schoolgirl. There is much more social pressure nowadays.
                   --BELL--
Adams Rubble: hmmm, why do you think there is more pressure now Eden?
Riddle Sideways: is there still the social media bullying that there was a few years back?
Adams Rubble: social media bullying is bad
    Adams Rubble: I mean rampant
Eden Haiku: Yes, heard about that...
Riddle Sideways: there has always been social pressures
Riddle Sideways: do you think there is more now?
Adams Rubble: Teenage social bullying is not anuonymous but much of the rest of the internet bullying IS anonymous
Eden Haiku: I think so, yes. I must say Quebec was very catholic when I grew up so we were all behaving lile little saints, apprentely at least :)
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Eden Haiku: * apparently
Adams Rubble: Canadians in general seem to be better behaved than US people
Eden Haiku: We were even buying CHinese or African children's souls for 10 cents a piece ...
    Adams Rubble: !!!
    Riddle Sideways: ?
Eden Haiku: So our missionnaries could make them cute little catholics ...
Eden Haiku: It was money for the missions. Each family had a least one missionnary overseas
Eden Haiku: Or at least a nun or a priest.
Riddle Sideways: supporting a missionary maybe, but telling you that you were buying their souls
Riddle Sideways: well in way, probably
Riddle Sideways: support a nun or priest while they go and get souls
Eden Haiku: Maybe that is my childish view. No, just asked my companion. He confirms we bought them so their souls could be saved.
Riddle Sideways: too much like the nature amerikans in California
    Eden Haiku: The native Americans?
Eden Haiku: Wondering whatt happened to all my Chinese and African saved " children"....
Riddle Sideways: people were living here before they were discovered and convert or die happened
Riddle Sideways: how could you find out? are they still saved?
    Eden Haiku: laughs
Riddle Sideways: upset that Father Junipero Serra is now sainted, but stops political talk
                   --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: use to see adverts "for 10 cents a day you can feed a family of 37"
Adams Rubble: When Kira was a 500(c)3 Storm was worried about political talk because it might affect the status
Adams Rubble: Kira is not existent at the rpesent time
Eden Haiku: Could it affect PaB status as well?
Adams Rubble: There is another reason to try to avoid political talk and that is because it is divisive. I think that is where we need to be thoughtful.
Adams Rubble: religious talk is also divisive and we do nto steer away from that but we do try to be respectful
Adams Rubble: of each other and others beyond
Adams Rubble: It is hard not to notice something so important in our lives and thee lives of the world right now as the US election
Eden Haiku: Yes, it's true that both politics and religion are divisive. So we might as well stay away from these topics....
Adams Rubble: maybe we even have a duty to speak out against hatred and extreme self interest to the point of hurting others
    Riddle Sideways: or tiptoe lightly
Riddle Sideways: there is the respectful attitude
    Adams Rubble: just respect )
Eden Haiku: During the debate, someone on Twitter posted a picture of Omer Simpson with a sign " The end is near".
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Eden Haiku: My fear subsided but the debate was terrifying: extreme self-interest and hatred as you say Adams.
    Adams Rubble: and ignorance
Adams Rubble puts in a plug for TSK
Eden Haiku: And ignorance, oh yes!
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble: at least for the K
    Eden Haiku: hehe
Riddle Sideways: where can Great Knowledge come to these leaders
Adams Rubble: I am reading a book called Pristine Mind
Adams Rubble: I like the use of "pristine" rather than great
    Riddle Sideways: that works
Adams Rubble: it is simply a matter of removing their clouds

Eden Haiku: They should sit on mountain tops and contemplate the blueness of the sky.
Adams Rubble: maybe more importantly, their followers
Riddle Sideways: afraid they only see dark clouds
Eden Haiku: A loverly word "pristiine".
Adams Rubble: To paraphrase that great slave molester, Thomas jefferson, democracy does not work without the voters being educated
Riddle Sideways: and such an education is happening now
Riddle Sideways: really liked the first question or commentators about whether children should even watch the debates
Adams Rubble: not to mention our grown up children :)
Eden Haiku: I hope they didn't watch...
Riddle Sideways: compared to the 08 debates and town hall meetings
Eden Haiku: I meant the younger ones...
    Adams Rubble: :)
Eden Haiku: 2008 had a much different level...
Adams Rubble is sorry to have watched the "debate"
Adams Rubble: felt very dirty afterwards
    Eden Haiku: Me too :(
                   --BELL--
    Adams Rubble: had bad dreams
Adams Rubble: then remembered that dreams are illusions
Riddle Sideways: Eden was still very upset yesterday morning
Eden Haiku: and the debate's reality is a delusion too...
Riddle Sideways: watched it with that attitude
Eden Haiku: Though our concrete lives may be affected by this Great Illusion....
Riddle Sideways: every once in a while a thought that this was real
Riddle Sideways: and meant the future
Adams Rubble: yes, we all have a duty on November 8
    Riddle Sideways: but, then laughed
Eden Haiku: Not me, I don't get to vote. I count on you guys, to make the right choice for the rest of the world who's watching American elections
Riddle Sideways: Eden doesn't get to help decide. It gets to affect the rest of the world
    Riddle Sideways: snap
Eden Haiku: snap with the bell too :)
Adams Rubble: Yes, sorry Eden. Some of us have a duty
Adams Rubble: we will think of you
Eden Haiku: Thanks. As a neighbor from the North, I don't want a wall either :)))
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: should send you a copy of sample ballot. you could help decide state things too. like should schools get roofs or not raise taxes on millionaires
    Adams Rubble: :)
Eden Haiku: Oh yes, you get to vote for many things at the same time....
Riddle Sideways: ummmm, how can taxes be raised on people that don't pay any?
Adams Rubble: actually the sky is the limit :)
    Eden Haiku: Good question :)

Riddle Sideways: sorry that this was such a depressing session
Adams Rubble: I missed Eden's question way back. PaB has never been registered as a non-profit but was a subsidiary of Kira Institute
Adams Rubble: Riddle, it was not the session that was depressing but the thing that is on all of our minds
Eden Haiku: Not at all Riddle :) The way you look at all things like illusions is refreshing :)
Adams Rubble: hugs to both of you
Adams Rubble: and to all those distressed
    Riddle Sideways: yes!!! group hug
Riddle Sideways: have been watching Desert Trip vids
Riddle Sideways: Paul and Neal Young singing give Peace a Chance
Eden Haiku: Thanks Adams. I will edit out some of the "name calling" I did yesterday,s session. I have been reading the FEMEN manifesto that was published in Paris, it influenced me :)
    Eden Haiku: Group hug
Eden Haiku: Let us give peace a chance yes...
    Adams Rubble: :)
Eden Haiku: Have a great day Adams and Riddle :)
Adams Rubble: bye eden. You too :)

Riddle Sideways: can't find group hug in inventory
    Riddle Sideways: by Eden
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble: not even I have one
Adams Rubble: I bet there is one
Riddle Sideways: there are individual hugs
    Adams Rubble: yes
Riddle Sideways: did not take photo of that sign
    Adams Rubble: hehe, good :)
                   --BELL--
Adams Rubble: it would upset some people
Adams Rubble: I must go and get ready for an eye exam
Adams Rubble: for my rler not me
Riddle Sideways: do your eye exercises before going
Adams Rubble: I don;t know any
Adams Rubble: have a great day Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: have your great day, Adams
    Adams Rubble: bye
