    Riddle, Eden and Adams

Weather you like it or not

Riddle Sideways: morning, still dark here
Riddle Sideways: quiet cat is making noise about needing to go out
Eden Haiku: Good dark morning Riddle :)
Eden Haiku: With a noisy cat, you sound already Halloween!
Riddle Sideways: even SL seemed to rez slow, sort of foggly
Eden Haiku: A foggy Monday. Here the sun is back after days of rain. But the cold is there too :(
Riddle Sideways:weather you like it or not
Eden Haiku: Wether you like it or not :)
Riddle Sideways: is that one of those kinds of words .... hmmm spelling is going to be tough
    Riddle Sideways: looking it up
Eden Haiku: No no, your pun was fun Riddle. I wasn't correcting you :) I have been dancing non-stop from Friday night to Sunday night, in a Biodanza workshop. My body does feel different and I'm less into words than usually.
Riddle Sideways: nope. it is not onomatopoeia
Riddle Sideways: great!!! to dance the weekend away
Eden Haiku: Oh was it? It’s a good pun though :)
    Riddle Sideways: no it wasn't
Eden Haiku: It was so de-li-cious!
    Riddle Sideways: deee-lic-iouss
    Riddle Sideways: special dances?
    Riddle Sideways: or all kinds
    Riddle Sideways: or theme?

    Dancing workshop

Eden Haiku: Dancing with about 25 people for 2 days and a half. In silence. On music.

Eden Haiku: Biodanza is a whole system. Created by an anthropologist from Chili. It kind of "repairs" the nervous system by having people create circles and spontaneous dances as called by a facilitator.
Riddle Sideways: brb, must write imediate email. friend's email is spamming
    Riddle Sideways: please say more
Eden Haiku: The Argentinian woman who was the leader (facilitator) is so wild and intelligent and loving, she's amazing!
    Eden Haiku: Good morning Adams!
Adams Rubble: Good morning Eden and Riddle :)
    Riddle Sideways: back
    Riddle Sideways: hi Adams
    Adams Rubble waves
Eden Haiku: How are you Adams?
    Riddle Sideways: missed your leap-in
Riddle Sideways: [07:09] Eden Haiku: Dancing with about 25 people for 2 days and a half. In silence. On music. [07:10] Eden Haiku: Biodanza is a whole system. Eden Haiku: Was telling Riddle about the dance workshop I spent the week end dancing in :)

    BIodanza

    Adams Rubble: :)
Eden Haiku: Still feeling exhilarated :)
Riddle Sideways: 2.5 days of spontaneous dance would be tiring
    Riddle Sideways: :)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: would guess, way beyond 10,000 steps
Eden Haiku: Yes, my body is aching a bit but so relaxed at the same time. It does that every time, Biodanza, I love it.
Eden Haiku: Yes, but unfortunately I don't dance with my iPhone, so these steps were not registered :)
Riddle Sideways: thatz right not one of those iFit watches
Riddle Sideways: some memory cells are waking
Eden Haiku: On Saturday, there was heavy rain so I took a taxi instead of walking to the subway and I registered only 8,747 steps...Was too exhausted to go back for a walk when I came home around 11 pm
Riddle Sideways: looked up Biodanza sites ... they are all smiling so... entirely!
Eden Haiku: Yes, smiling! You feel sooo good. Biodanza is international, you might have evenings in your area. It's worth trying!
Riddle Sideways: closest seems very far still
    Eden Haiku: That’s unfortunate...
Riddle Sideways: near the kids tho. will tell them
Eden Haiku: Oh yes, they would love it! There are many young people and they enjoy it a lot!

Eden Haiku: Thanks to the dance, I got to miss the last debate, Did you watch it?
Riddle Sideways:looks huge, Huge, its HUGE in S.F. and Bayarea

The SNL version of the debate

Riddle Sideways: the SNL version/recap is better then the actual debate
Eden Haiku: Sometimes, we are 100 or 150 at some events. All dancing together. It’s like a rave without the drug but we get the ecstasy as well!
Adams Rubble: [Agreed with Adams on deleting this sentence]
Eden Haiku: Oh SNL, I guess it's online? I would love to see that. I was too spent to stay awake that late :)
Eden Haiku: Oh good ...Though I will...
Eden Haiku: I will edit out the name maybe? [this related to the edited out sentence]
Adams Rubble: the SNL is shorter :)
Eden Haiku: Yes, I guess...shorter and funnier :)
Riddle Sideways: fashion/movie person watching with us was all into analyzing both of them
Eden Haiku: Oh tell us more Riddle?
Riddle Sideways: each debate somebody has worked very hard on both of their looks
    Riddle Sideways:something softened
Riddle Sideways: in make-up and hair
Eden Haiku:[Edited out] I wondered what it meant?
    Riddle Sideways: a little younger

    Riddle Sideways: and hipper
    Eden Haiku: Ah!

    Protecting self-worth

Eden Haiku: My companion asked me this morning what was my favorite moment in dance the Biodanza workshop. He didn't attend. He never attends.
Eden Haiku: it was a great question.
Eden Haiku: The moment came back to me during the pause
Riddle Sideways: somebody has to balance the universe by not dancing.
    Riddle Sideways: /listens
Eden Haiku: The dance was coded (a few are). We had to lift slowly both our hands and cross them in front of us at the level of our heart. The music was drums, very loud drums. And we were instructed to have eyes open and to look far away. Many of us spontaneoulsy turned towards the windows, The sky was turning turquoise at the end of Sunday afternoon. I really felt my self-worth. That is called the self-worth posture. Like in the Egyptians paintings.
Eden Haiku: yes, my companion is doing an excellent balancing act;) More women are attending for sure :)
Eden Haiku: I think it's rather called "protecting the self-worth" posture :)
Riddle Sideways: very nice images into the silence

    --BELL--

Adams Rubble: I must go. I hope yu both have a great day ahead :)
    Adams Rubble: bye for now
Eden Haiku: I will add an Egyptian image to the log. My computer is still too touchy to google it :)
    Riddle Sideways: ok, by Adams
Eden Haiku: You too Adams :)
Riddle Sideways: searching on ' "protecting the self-worth" posture' gave very few and weird results
Riddle Sideways: ah, the url shows google remembering the last search also and adding that one
Eden Haiku: Yes, I think it's Biodanza jargon, I'm translating from French and only from memory.
Riddle Sideways: ah, yes, the French have a way of saying things
Eden Haiku: I'm not sure if they use " posture" even, maybe it's ¨position¨ and the transmission is always verbal, not written. .
Riddle Sideways: that don't mean anything to english-only listeners
Eden Haiku: And the leader has a strong Spanish accent :)

    Lots of hugging

Eden Haiku: It's very South-American too. Lots of hugging and touching. Sometimes it feels too much :)
    Riddle Sideways: ha
Eden Haiku: A French lady made me laugh at the end of the end of the workshop (she's from France and they are more reserved than Quebecers). Someone wanted to hug her, and she said "Oh please no! Enough is enough!" LOL
Eden Haiku: I felt the same but would not have been able to express it :)
    Riddle Sideways: laughs
Riddle Sideways: or too nice to express it :)
Eden Haiku: Yes, It's funny, Too much of a good thing :)
Eden Haiku: I guess it’s a way to feel our limits and to realize we should dare to speak the truth. It’s based on authenticity a lot.
Riddle Sideways: universe being tilted toward too much love and happiness
Eden Haiku: I swear I won't hug my dentist this afternoon :)
    Riddle Sideways: ooooooo, go ahead
Riddle Sideways: watching a show last night. there was lots of kissing of 2 cheeks going on
Riddle Sideways: then there was a 3rd cheek kiss
    Riddle Sideways: wondering the meaning?
Eden Haiku: Ah yes, the 3 cheeks kiss! They do that In France ! Always confusing :) Yes, love and happiness and smiles and a lot of joy. But then we had a circle of talking in the middle of the afternoon. And so many were crying, sharing what they were going through: a brother dying, or feeling unworthy or feeling unseen and so on...
Eden Haiku: And a few minutes later all these people were beaming with joy, eyes sparkling, smiling, laughing wildly.
Riddle Sideways: so much open, authenticity, mindfulness, connections
    Riddle Sideways: then more hugs
Eden Haiku: And more hugs :)
Riddle Sideways: finally somebody yells "enough, let's dance"
Eden Haiku: And a few last tears...
Eden Haiku: No, we never talk, Only the leader leads.

Riddle and Eden in a wild onigokko

Riddle Sideways: ha, have a button pinned to the wall here "f*ck ploitics, let's dance!"
Eden Haiku: We talk in the circles when we are invited to. We never talk uninvited. Thats, quite refreshing.
    Eden Haiku: /onigokko
    Eden Haiku: onigokko
    Riddle Sideways: giggles
    Riddle Sideways: stop
    Riddle Sideways: onigokko
Riddle Sideways: had to get it on
Eden Haiku: Ah! It feels so good!
Riddle Sideways: shall we dance for 2 days
    Eden Haiku: Yes!!!

Eden Haiku: Learnt a Japanese word, let me conclude with that
    Riddle Sideways: k
    Eden Haiku: Imakoko
Eden Haiku:It means: here and right now!
    Eden Haiku: A wonderful word.
Eden Haiku: The Argentinian woman went 3 times to Japan and brought back this only word!
    Eden Haiku: imakoko!
Eden Haiku: have a great imakoko Monday Riddle!
Eden Haiku: Always fun to onigokko with you :)
Riddle Sideways: laughs, hugs, dances, Imakoko
Eden Haiku: Giving you a big, long, lingering hug :)
    Eden Haiku: Imakoko!!!
Eden Haiku: My friend recognizes the music and is always amused by onigokko.
    Eden Haiku: Imakoko!!!
Eden Haiku: The leader was saying it pointing to the floor. even more funny!
Riddle Sideways: thinking there is a space or hyphen in Ima koko
Eden Haiku: Is there? Ah you are looking it up?
Eden Haiku: Will ask her by email. I also have to ask about a wonderful arab/ andalose music she was playing. [Online translation from Japanese says: Here now and the spelling is right: imakoko]
Riddle Sideways: ok, wll await report
    Eden Haiku: :)
Eden Haiku: Gee, I don't want to stop running around like a wild mouse :)

Riddle Sideways: av, will stay dancing,
Riddle Sideways: yes, took the Burn2 bus tour and some events
    Eden Haiku: Did you enjoy?
Eden Haiku: I forgot about the Burn:(
Riddle Sideways: and must end with saying Imakoko and then silance
    Eden Haiku: imakoko

Eden Haiku: Thank you so much for being here with your radiant heart Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: ha, and bad jokes
Eden Haiku: A last big hug and than I walk away.
    Riddle Sideways: yes
