Adams Rubble: Went to Lancaster, PA to follow the trail of Thaddeus Stevens and ended up going to see the James Buchanan estate as well

Adams Rubble: It is interesting that the Republican party pushed the reconstruction back then and many areas stayed Republican and are still republican party today but the party has switched to now being the enemy of equality

Adams Rubble: I recently read a book called White Rage which ended up being a brief history of all the things that were done to the former slaves from the Civil War to the present.

Adams Rubble: the book started by focusing on Lincoln's statement that he would free none of the slaves if it would save the union, free some etc or free them all etc.

Adams Rubble: When I started the book I thought it was a bit unfair given the title but was glad I picked it up again after a couple of months
Adams Rubble: the thing that I did nto know was that reagan was the one responsible for all the crack in the inner cities in order to pay for his support of right wing dictators

Storm Nordwind: I have been away for three years. I am surprised and happy to discover how much people have changed in those three years. Or... maybe now I am simply more humble and appreciative. :)
