Storm and I sat and chatted the hour about PaB Business, pleasure and a host of other things.

stevenaia Michinaga: always has been
stevenaia Michinaga: we get few guests
stevenaia Michinaga: and those who come we usually insist to join
Storm Nordwind: Haha - no this avatar I'm intending to stick with now. The red monk and the same shape and skin with blond wig are not me anymore. And this new avatar is pretty close to what I look like in real life
Storm Nordwind: April 24th at 1:30 - I'll put it on my calendar. And where?

Storm Nordwind: It took me 10 years to understand role-play in SL. And now I do, I'm matching RL. <shrug?>stevenaia Michinaga: we usually meet in one of San's skyboxes, if you are on, IM us once we get settled

stevenaia Michinaga: we have been lax in keeping minutes... perhaps Eliza will return as a secretary
Storm Nordwind: Ah... secretary. At the same time the most powerful and the most tedious position!
stevenaia Michinaga: or you, ... Bleu was and was very good at extremely terse minutes,, they were perfect
stevenaia Michinaga: but since we are going to every other month now, things should be easier
stevenaia Michinaga: if you have any agenda items, feel free to IM me with them and I'll put them on the list

Storm Nordwind: I am not yet really conversant enough with what's going on to presume to raise an agenda item. But thank you for the invitation. :)
stevenaia Michinaga: The list I am making as we speak, we tend to get what we need to complete in about an hour or less
stevenaia Michinaga: I usually look over the previous months WG email fo assemble an agenda of sorts
stevenaia Michinaga: but we will be happy to have you

stevenaia Michinaga: if it wasn't at least engaging and possibly entertaining, I would one no part of it
Storm Nordwind: You said before you "always found it amazing when ppl match their avatar to RL". ... Ahem... would you like to say more? ;-)
stevenaia Michinaga: well, I have trouble changing an outfit without loosing a record of what I was wearing the moment before, therefore hats shopping dislikes changing my avatar, so tweaking it to look like a RL person seems like a lot of work for me

stevenaia Michinaga: I have a personal shopper who helps or I wouldn't know where to begin
Storm Nordwind: I had to copy myself. No one else would stay still long enough for me to tweak my avatar to look like them!
stevenaia Michinaga: I actually had a trusted friend be me in order to clean up my inventory, and I was them observing, that is a very strange experience
Storm Nordwind: I thought - correct me if I'm wrong, as I'm rusty - that you can make folders of outfits in your inventory. That might be a way to remember stuff.

Storm Nordwind: Ah yes... that is a problem
stevenaia Michinaga: thanks for helping re-organize the HUD, I find it very useful
Storm Nordwind: Nice to keep it that way.
stevenaia Michinaga: these are the things that make this group a pleasure, one idea and it becomes a group effort... effortlessly
Storm Nordwind: yes!
stevenaia Michinaga: it is the way it should be,
Storm Nordwind: Effortless cooperation. A great example of so many parts of our society.
stevenaia Michinaga: heh, if only
Storm Nordwind: Well, as an American citizen now (I think I wasn't when I was previously involved with PaB) I'm probably more sensitive than I used to be about cooperation - and any lack of it!
stevenaia Michinaga: why would that change your perspective?
Storm Nordwind: Because I have more of a vested interest in this country.
Storm Nordwind: I get to vote and participate in ways that were only academic before - something my wife and neighbors did but not me.
stevenaia Michinaga: my spouse is coordinating a Congressional Candidates Forum at our Synagogue next week before the primary, I think 5 or 6 will be there, the next thing you know she got Board approval and ppl volunteering to help
Storm Nordwind: When you have the opportunity to be involved in something, I suspect you're likely to be more interested in what's going on, and how it might improve.
Storm Nordwind: I'm sure she'll do a great job. :)
Storm Nordwind: I think other people are naturally attracted to sources of energy like that. :)
stevenaia Michinaga: everyone is interested in making it informative and a success, our Rabbi got an email from another congregation exclaiming... How did the Board pull it off??? Seems having such a thing is too contentious in most places. Reminds me of PaB, people more interested in learning than arguing
Storm Nordwind: very true!
stevenaia Michinaga: sleeping with the Board President doesn't hurt either
Storm Nordwind: I'll try to forget that when it's time for the WG ;-)
stevenaia Michinaga: well that's RL, not the part that reminds me of PaB
