Aphrodite Macbain: The Molecule theatre is reached by a balloon
Nimue Brezoianu: Cool
Aphrodite Macbain: we are looking for opportunities to use it for performances.
Aphrodite Macbain: I showed it to Bajoy and she liked it

Zon Kwan: yes
Aphrodite Macbain: in RL as well as SL?
Zon Kwan: tried here too
Zon Kwan: there is a golf sim.
Aphrodite Macbain: AERO golf?
Zon Kwan: yes
Zon Kwan: have you been there?

Aphrodite Macbain: no
Aphrodite Macbain: Is it one where you use your mouse view to focus?
Zon Kwan: yes
Aphrodite Macbain: but I've practiced by shooting zombies...
Zon Kwan: lol
Aphrodite Macbain: a good way to relieve frustration lol
Zon Kwan: so is golf
Aphrodite Macbain: without guilt
Aphrodite Macbain: I think I would get tense playing golf.
Aphrodite Macbain: Do u play Nim?
Zon Kwan: or on the other hand it can make you frustrated too
Aphrodite Macbain: nods
Zon Kwan: dont you think how poor zombies feel?
Nimue Brezoianu: No I have never tried playing golf
Nimue Brezoianu: but I gather from friends who do that they greatly enjoy it

Commedia

Aphrodite Macbain: Zon, Nimue has created a drama group called the Commedia dell'Arte - that is where she focuses her creative talents
Aphrodite Macbain: in SL
Nimue Brezoianu: hahahah
Zon Kwan: ah
Aphrodite Macbain: grins
Nimue Brezoianu: I think Aphro may be giving me too much credit
Aphrodite Macbain: she has organized an exhibition on the Commedia
Zon Kwan: cool
Aphrodite Macbain: and inspired our performance this summer
Zon Kwan: :)
Nimue Brezoianu: we put up a little play, and its turned out to be a great success...but that is because just for once, in SL and RL the team gelled perfectly
Aphrodite Macbain: yes!
Aphrodite Macbain: everyone was very supportive and engaged
Zon Kwan: that's great
Nimue Brezoianu: I suggested the idea, and did some of the work
Aphrodite Macbain: you were there in the stands - cheering us on too
Zon Kwan: group in synchronicity
Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Nimue Brezoianu: but the other enthusiasts got an amusing script together, a good sound track
Aphrodite Macbain: altho I am still a klutz on whatever stage I find myself
Aphrodite Macbain: ...those darn walls...
Nimue Brezoianu: but how often is there a project that lasts 6 months, where no one quarreled?
Zon Kwan: wow
Nimue Brezoianu: and I don't think anyone resented anyone
Aphrodite Macbain: I tried hard to "become" my character, Isabella, and turned her into a pretty dim-wit!
Nimue Brezoianu: so it must have meant that everyone got the correct roles
Aphrodite Macbain: we all got along famously
Nimue Brezoianu: But Isabella is a dimwit
Nimue Brezoianu: lol
Nimue Brezoianu: that is her personality
Nimue Brezoianu: lol
Aphrodite Macbain thinks "I hope I'm not a dimwit"
Nimue Brezoianu: No
Aphrodite Macbain: grins
Nimue Brezoianu: but the character you played is supposed to be
Aphrodite Macbain: nice of you to say so.
Aphrodite Macbain: The only strong thing I did was to try and stab myself with a dagger
Zon Kwan: oh
Aphrodite Macbain: but I ended up grinning and waving the weapon around, missing myself
Aphrodite Macbain: and looking silly
Aphrodite Macbain: lol

Nimue Brezoianu: but that is exactly what you were meant to do
Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Aphrodite Macbain: Nim- is the exhibition still on display?
Nimue Brezoianu: No the exhibition is gone into the inventory for now
Nimue Brezoianu: until October

Aphrodite Macbain: there are about 60 of us on a very good day
Nimue Brezoianu: Wow

Cats

Aphrodite Macbain: My poor little cat
Nimue Brezoianu: did you succeed in putting the medicine into the cat?
Aphrodite Macbain: I had to chase him all over the apartment to squirt the stuff in his mouth
Nimue Brezoianu: aha
Nimue Brezoianu: Yep
Aphrodite Macbain: It is as traumatic for me as it is for him
Nimue Brezoianu: very hard to medicate a cat
Aphrodite Macbain: He thinks I am so mean
Aphrodite Macbain: I have to do this 2x a day
Nimue Brezoianu: I am afraid after a while you have to forget about traumatizing the cat...and just stick the medicine into him
Aphrodite Macbain: He has pancreatitis
Nimue Brezoianu: awwwwww
Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Nimue Brezoianu: I was so gentle with the pills to begin with and the cat pretended to let me do it easy
Aphrodite Macbain: I think he's in pain - so I just add to his miseries
Aphrodite Macbain: you went through the same thing?
Nimue Brezoianu: and when I thought all was well and had released the cat
Nimue Brezoianu: it spat the pill out at me
Aphrodite Macbain: lol yes!
Aphrodite Macbain: I have to hold him and stroke his throat so he swallows
Aphrodite Macbain: It's a liquid not a pill
Nimue Brezoianu: The liquid is easier
Aphrodite Macbain: yes-
Aphrodite Macbain: I have given up trying to give him the pill that gives him an appetite
Aphrodite Macbain: at least he is starting to eat and drink (which seems pointless then)
Aphrodite Macbain: trouble is his mother keeps eating his food!
Aphrodite Macbain: you have 2 kittens no?
Nimue Brezoianu: Yes I have 2
Nimue Brezoianu: young and healthy
Aphrodite Macbain: thank god
Nimue Brezoianu: and very good
Aphrodite Macbain: I learn a lot from my cats
Nimue Brezoianu: and they are girls so they seem to get hurt less
Nimue Brezoianu: I do also
Aphrodite Macbain: oh?
Aphrodite Macbain: why do they get hurt less?
Nimue Brezoianu: the up side of girl cats is that they avoid fights
Aphrodite Macbain: ah-
Aphrodite Macbain: well
Nimue Brezoianu: the down side is that they are much better at hunting
Aphrodite Macbain: my Cleo would fight any cat who entered her territory
Aphrodite Macbain: Amazing
Aphrodite Macbain: her fur goes up, she spits
Aphrodite Macbain: and looks 2ce the size of her normal self

Nimue Brezoianu: Aphro has just had to put medicine into her cat...and is wracked with guilt
Nimue Brezoianu: Hi Ari
Aphrodite Macbain: I hate being the heavy
Arisia Vita: but you are doing it for her own good
Nimue Brezoianu: the cat, being a Cat probably laid on the suffering big style
Aphrodite Macbain: and I fear that after this bout of antibiotics, he will learn to distrust me
Nimue Brezoianu: and cats know when they can milk things
Arisia Vita: that's what momma always told me :)
Aphrodite Macbain: lol
Nimue Brezoianu: No he won't
Aphrodite Macbain: Smudge is too stupid to manipulative
Nimue Brezoianu: especially if you try not to be nervous about it
Nimue Brezoianu: No cat is too stupid to be manipulative

Aphrodite Macbain: chasing him around the apartment and trying to grab him any way I can is really ridiculous and traumatizing
Aphrodite Macbain: to me as well as him!
Nimue Brezoianu remembers the car rides with the cat yodelling as if it was being strangled
Arisia Vita: sounds like fun to me :)
Aphrodite Macbain: lol Ari
Nimue Brezoianu: good exercise?
Aphrodite Macbain: yes- cats are good at sounding pitiful
Aphrodite Macbain: a hollow yowl works wonders
Aphrodite Macbain: Ari - Nim is from my other SL life in Sorrentina
Aphrodite Macbain: and it was her idea for the Commedia play
Arisia Vita: a good idea
Aphrodite Macbain: Nim- Ari came to the performance (and also has come to all the others)
Aphrodite Macbain: a supportive fan
Nimue Brezoianu: and you enjoyed it Ari?
