    Wol Euler: buongiorno, qt
    Qt Core: buongiorno Wol
    Wol Euler: how's life?
    Wol Euler: morning, aggers
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi folks
Qt Core: shitty week behind, shitty week forward, normal i'll say, you ?
Agatha Macbeth: That's sounds good QT :p
    Wol Euler: oh dear
Wol Euler: strenuous but hopefully not particularly shitty
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe you need a new job?
Qt Core: that would solve only 50% of the "shittiness" (not considering finding a new job in itself)
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
    Wol Euler: aww indeed
Qt Core: higher pont of this week, i got the "9 dead alive" cd, whit this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maqOMyliwaQ

    --BELL--

    Agatha Macbeth: Olé
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Agatha Macbeth: I like that
Wol Euler: didn't work for me, as so often :/
Agatha Macbeth: 'Not available in Germany'?
    Wol Euler: yup
    Agatha Macbeth sighs
Agatha Macbeth: Pity it was good
    Wol Euler: ah well :)
Agatha Macbeth: One hears so few really good classical guitarists these days
Qt Core: i wonder why, it is the band official channel, so who would be "stealing" their right ?
    Wol Euler shrugs.
Wol Euler: hard to know what the record companies think htey are doing
Agatha Macbeth: Something to do with German law presumably
    Wol Euler: yes
Wol Euler: in the same way that radio stations have to pay for the music they play, so do internet "stations" in Germany
Wol Euler: which practically means that the record company releases their stuff to be viewed in Germany
Wol Euler: so if htey don't, because they are Italians and don'T know about silly German laws, then we can't see it
Qt Core: some EU laws is coming about this, forcing the recognition of common creative like licensing too
Agatha Macbeth: Seems odd to me that would be permitted by EU law, since it is almost a restraint of trade
    Agatha Macbeth: Snaop
    Agatha Macbeth: -o
    Wol Euler: I hope os
Agatha Macbeth: I hope os too :p

Wol Euler: because it's incredibly short-sighted. Yes, people use the internet to steal content, but they don't seem to realize that it is ALSO the main advertising channel now
Agatha Macbeth: (can't you tell it's first thing in the morning)
Wol Euler: everything I've bought in the last ten years, without exception, has been something that I bought because I'd heard it on the internet first
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Wol Euler: and I am sure I'm not alone
Agatha Macbeth: That's what I meant by restraint of trade
    Wol Euler nods.
Agatha Macbeth: If people can't see your stuff they won't buy it
Qt Core: i discovered this due on the net, yes i downloaded some of their work "for free" ;-) but then i bought their entire works
Wol Euler: they want "word of mouth" but they don't realize that the internet is that mouth
    Agatha Macbeth: It is now
    Wol Euler nods.

    --BELL--

Agatha Macbeth: Ah, SLT has caught up with my clock again
Qt Core: another favorite of mine i found in the 'net: Ewan Dobson (another guitarist too)
Qt Core: love guitar music, never hold one :-)
    Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: I tried, didn't sem to have enough fingers
    Wol Euler: heheh
Qt Core: speaking about DObson and classical guitar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_8Lh2fTnUU (look at his pinkie!)
Qt Core: Candyrat Record is almost all about guitarists
    Wol Euler: wow
Wol Euler: (that one worked :)
    Qt Core: !
Agatha Macbeth: Is he Japanese? :p
Qt Core: No, he's from Canada
Qt Core: when he is not in classic mode he sounds like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTO5XdvXd1I
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
Agatha Macbeth: That explains much :p
Qt Core: (beu i really seems to love japan)
    Agatha Macbeth: Understandable
    Wol Euler grins.

    --BELL--

    Wol Euler: great stuff, that
Qt Core: he just had a tour in half europe... obviously no italy :-(
    Agatha Macbeth: Which half?
Qt Core: ireland.england, germany, austria, croatia or serbia, maybe belgium
    Agatha Macbeth: Wow
    Agatha Macbeth: Somewhat unusual route
Qt Core: his last album was in collaboration with a croatian/serbian drummer
    Wol Euler smiles.
Qt Core: this kind of music is great to wake me while driving to work ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: I can imagine
Agatha Macbeth: Turn it up loud and annoy the rappers
Qt Core: its lack of lyrics helps too, it hit at some basic level leaving the higher free to wander (and to drive too)
    Wol Euler nods.
Agatha Macbeth: Yes concentrating on the road certainly helps
Agatha Macbeth: I've seen Italian roads ;-)
Qt Core: late spring/ summer is the worst with many extra moped/bicycle/motorbikes
Qt Core: (that would not a problem if they would do logical moves, even unlawful but logical moves i can predict...
    Agatha Macbeth: Hehe
Qt Core: it tome me a while to stop worrying about the three wheeled motorbikes that really seemed to fall down on every turn (the one with two wheel in the front)

    --BELL--

    Agatha Macbeth: Right
    Agatha Macbeth: Shopping calls
    Wol Euler: byea
    Wol Euler: agggers
    Wol Euler: happy hunting
    Qt Core: have fun, Aga
Agatha Macbeth: Ciao QT, see you later Wollie
Wol Euler: I've seen those tricycles here, I can't really understand how they are more stable than a two-wheeler
Qt Core: ugh, i may have do do a little shop[ping too, maybe in the afternoon (don't really like sunday shopping)
Wol Euler: luckily we can't do that here in Germany :)
Wol Euler: well, only at the train station and some gas stations
    Qt Core: yet ;-)
    Wol Euler: heheh
Wol Euler: it may go the otehr way in fact
Qt Core: if only shops had enough personal to not stress them with too many sundays at work it wouldn't be so bad
Wol Euler: there was a lawsuit in Bavaria recently, a normal store complained that gas stations were having an unfair advantage, and sued to forbid them to sell to people who did not come in cars
    Wol Euler: and won
Qt Core: something like that happened here at a local level against a pharmacy that was open 24/7, nearby pharmacies, wityh a standard opening of 11/5 or 11/6 went angry
Wol Euler: which one can understand
Qt Core: (as many started going there even on regolar business hours)
    Wol Euler nods.
Qt Core: if it could be put in a non discriminating way you could manage to have the shop opened on sundays with non christian workers...
Qt Core: but the issie is between little, family owned shop and malls
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: and it's hard to see how to resolve that one

Wol Euler: the malls have so many advantages
Qt Core: (we would need vampires for opening in the night)
Wol Euler: it might be done as the australians handled their licensing hours
Wol Euler: you can open whenever you want, but you can only be open for eight hours, and they must be a single block of time per day
Wol Euler: so if youwant to open at 2am and close at 10am, go ahead
Qt Core: no lunch break ?
    Qt Core: (a good solution)
Wol Euler: well, I don't know the details
Wol Euler: but it seemed to me a good answer
Wol Euler: opening 24/7 forces everyone to be open that long or suffer a disadvantage
Qt Core: i never uderstood why here in italy food shops are closed on monday afternoon and non food on monday morning (and barber shops and hairdressers all monday)
Qt Core: (that is the little ones)
    Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: a strange piece of history, one assumes there was a logical explanation which has been forgotten
Qt Core: you may be open x hours a day or a week could be an interesting zolution,
Qt Core: but then one could open two shop and with the same workers "fake" a 24/7

    --BELL--

Wol Euler: perhaps there has to be a second law than anyone open outside of 9am-6pm MUST employ only union staff ... but I cannot imagine any current government in the world enacting that. They are all too thoroughly owned.
Qt Core: or that a worker can't work more than x hours total, that would show in the revenue service data of the workers
    Wol Euler nods.
Qt Core: then there is the black work (when you don't have a contract)
Qt Core: but that is another issue
    Wol Euler nods.
Qt Core: ok, time to start lunch, have to go
    Wol Euler nods.
Qt Core: lunch/launch... one of my spelling nightmare :-)
Wol Euler: take care, qt, enjoy the day
    Wol Euler: heheh
    Qt Core: bye
