Wol Euler: I don't know what their excuse is, but I am really struggling with jetlag
Wol Euler: I only slept about four hours last night
Korel Laloix: Yesterday at this time I was just giving Wol a fashion show.
Agatha Macbeth: The excuse is probably the jets :p

Korel Laloix: ON my trip back from Europe I remember the jet lag. I could not sleep right for weeks.
Korel Laloix: But I have long term sleep issues.
Wol Euler nods.
Agatha Macbeth: Oddly sleep is something I have never had a problem with
Wol Euler: lucky you
Korel Laloix: Exactly
Korel Laloix: It got bad enough for me that I had to go to a week long sleep clinic thing.
Korel Laloix: I was only getting about 3:45 a night.
Agatha Macbeth: Did they give you a bed?
Korel Laloix: After got upto about 5:15 a night
Santoshima Resident: too much running?
Korel Laloix: No, but matress selection was part of it... lol
Agatha Macbeth nods
Korel Laloix: The running should have helped me sleep more as I understand it.
Agatha Macbeth: Well you'd think so
Wol Euler nods.
Agatha Macbeth: Logic is notalways the order of the day
Korel Laloix: But I have found the last six months or so I have been getting close to six hours every now and then... feels amazing the next day.
Wol Euler chuckles.
Korel Laloix: Sad thing, I used to look forward to getting sick as that was about the only time my body let me have a good night's sleep.

Korel Laloix: My inventory is way fat right now.. got up over 1000... frowns
Qt Core: i don't have problem sleeping, is almost as if others had problems with me sleeping but i love the feeling you have when you get a couple hour more sleep, almost as being Neo in matrix ;-)
Korel Laloix: But back down to about 600 now

Korel Laloix: I got my normal lot of running clothes, but my friends were nice this year and did not give me the hot pink they normally torture me with. So that was new and welcome... lol

Wol Euler: I would not say "looking for a fight", no, that is different

Korel Laloix: But of all the chat groups I have been in in SL, this is the most stable and meaningful for sure.
Agatha Macbeth: Well we've had mainly good people here
Agatha Macbeth: And the not good ones didn't stay anyway :p

Korel Laloix: There are some good Sunday school types ones that have been going for years.. but those are once a week and have a built in focus.
Korel Laloix: The ones with a "philosophy" tint to them that I have seen always deteriorated into name calling and political fighting.

Wol Euler: being in this group without Pema has made me aware of all the work he did in keeping us focussed, without seeming to do any work at all

Korel Laloix: To be more aware of the impact of what I say on others, not just the meanings of the words. If that makes sense. Like what we said before, maybe softening the language.

Korel Laloix: There is one thing on my list to look up that has been there for quite a while.

Korel Laloix: And that is Buddhism... My RL experiences with it were pretty bad in terms of visiting their places in Tampa and Atlanta.

Korel Laloix: And in here listening to what people say, I seem to directly disagree with almost everything I hear of it.
Korel Laloix: lol... Just wonder if anyone knows a good book to read about the subject.

Korel Laloix: It is funny though, now I have graduated, my list of things to look up is down to less than a page.
Korel Laloix: Strange how much going to school can effect way more than your learning.
Wol Euler muses. Interesting that you disagreed with it all, my experience was the opposite: I found it integrating and tying together odd things from all over my life that I'd thought unrelated.
Agatha Macbeth: You'll probably find you have less and less time as 30 approaches :p
Wol Euler: oh yes definitely
