Qt Core: Hi Yaku
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey qt
Yakuzza Lethecus: good evening
Yakuzza Lethecus: where do you buy books ? since you life in a bigger city i could imagine you still go to an actual bookstore ?
Qt Core: yes, i have a couple nice bookshop in malls near my home and my workplace
Qt Core: but many of my book were bought from a catalog we got at home monthly by (paper) mail
Qt Core: i fear websites like amazon or other more italy-centric, it is too easy ;-)
Yakuzza Lethecus: well amazon didn´t fully make it to sweden, yet, but of course i can still order from .co.uk or .de
Qt Core: i've bought (but not books) from the .it one and the .co.uk
Yakuzza Lethecus: it is really tempting also so many reviews of bloggers directly lead to amazon because of their good affiliate possibilities
--BELL--
Qt Core: the things most fdisturbing of online shopping (for me) is escalation, i start with an idea of my need and price range and ends up looking if not buying the top
Yakuzza Lethecus: well i try not to go always for the cheapest, but i usuallz don´t go top range
Qt Core: (like now, i'm looking for a new smartphone but i don't need it big for the bigger tasks i have a tablet, but it is hard, luckily i discovered i don't like the 5+ inches devices as they can't really be used onehanded
Yakuzza Lethecus: well there are tools like piecontrol on android
Qt Core: like with the judges on judged sports, it is usually a good idea to discard the cheapest and the most pricey one immediately (if possible)
Yakuzza Lethecus: i actually got a 6,4" phablet, i am almost never calling anyone
Yakuzza Lethecus: xperia z ultra, but i do read a lot on it
Yakuzza Lethecus: and it was 222 euro in an offer
Qt Core: my 8.4" tablet is a phone too, but used as one is really weird
Yakuzza Lethecus: so i thought it´s fine to not have 2 devices when being out
Qt Core: i keep it mostly at home, it was bought on an whim, after drooling on it for some hours at the shops ;-)
Qt Core: it wasn't really needed, but at the time i needed a gift
Yakuzza Lethecus: that´s fine, my wife is almost only reading on a tablet, she actually started to prefer it over actual books
Yakuzza Lethecus: then here in sweden you get even e-books from the library, so a lot of books she is loaning directly to the device
Yakuzza Lethecus: mostly childrensbooks
Qt Core: i find that ebooks reader (like the kindle) are even better
Qt Core: even lighter, the epaper isn't an illuminated screen as is way easier on the eyes
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, but yet another device having around
Qt Core: i think i've seen ebooks at the local library too
--BELL--
Qt Core: not really around, mine is fixed near my bed ;-)
Qt Core: the only other place it sees is the gym
Qt Core: i sometimes have this silly things that object, technological or not can solve problems, even character problem (you know, being lazy solved by a smartphone and its todo app)
Qt Core: things=thoughts
Qt Core: or better iet idea
Yakuzza Lethecus: well all things have some influence
Qt Core: tried that since the pocketpc time and still lazy ;-)
Yakuzza Lethecus: can´t say that i changed positive through those things either
Qt Core: sadly the guilty one isn't the object ;-)
Yakuzza Lethecus: the issue isn´t behind the screen it´s right in front of it :P
Yakuzza Lethecus: potential is always bound to temptation, well i met a few ppl who really seem to be tempted too much, in the coruse i am taking there are 1-2 ppl who almost aren´t doing anything then watching youtube or other video platforms all day
Yakuzza Lethecus: well actually seeing a bad example helps to focus a bit
Qt Core: what they think will happen at exam time ?
--BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: there is no exam for that group, there are two groups in the same course one needs to have points for every part and gets marks and one groups doesn´t, there is only the optional certificate at the end that might be hard if they would want it
--BELL--
Qt Core: Hi Korel

Korel Laloix: Ciao....
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey korek
