Riddle Sideways: no walking for you
Riddle Sideways: no, that is for Tinies
    Adams Rubble: Hello Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: like Pooh, you bounce
Adams Rubble: some trick seats here
    Adams Rubble: Tigger?
Riddle Sideways: no whoopie cushions (yet)
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Riddle Sideways: oh right, Tigger!
Adams Rubble: Hope all is well with you
Riddle Sideways: T I double gaaa Rrrrr
Riddle Sideways: yes very nice and with you?
Adams Rubble: pretty good - some allergy issues today

Riddle Sideways: after years of 9 or 90 sec meditations, it was good to do an hour
    Adams Rubble: in RL?
    Riddle Sideways: yep
Adams Rubble: I have not done an hour yet
    Adams Rubble: only 20 minutes
Adams Rubble: are you still doing the 90 seconds?
Riddle Sideways: well, not counting groups and guided
Riddle Sideways: mostly only in here
Adams Rubble: whoops 9 seconds :)
Riddle Sideways: 15min gong still goes off at home office
Adams Rubble: I have been thinking I should try to do that again
Adams Rubble: It used to go off in my work office :)
    Riddle Sideways: yes, 9-sec

Riddle Sideways: never quite got the hang of your coded alphabet meanings
Adams Rubble: I miss meeting and talking about our experiences
Adams Rubble: there is a glossary on my blog
Riddle Sideways: yes, so let's do that again
Riddle Sideways: never quite got the hang of your glossary :)
Riddle Sideways: it is you personal meanings
    Adams Rubble: yes it is
Riddle Sideways: needed to dup the effort into personal terms
Adams Rubble: I have not used them much lately--well, I have not blogged lately
Riddle Sideways: would add some that are on the order of "Got Nothin' - again"

Riddle Sideways: your blogs and monthly summations were great
Riddle Sideways: a lot of effort tho
Adams Rubble: it was something I did for myself so it never seemed an effort
    Riddle Sideways: good
Riddle Sideways: yes, things done for self are rewarding
Riddle Sideways: and if shared out, then extra credits
Adams Rubble: I have always felt that reading it was like reading a telephone book though :)
                   --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: however, the shame when a personal good habit is skipped one day :(
Riddle Sideways: self abuse of a mental kind
Adams Rubble: or over a month :)
    Riddle Sideways: ha

Riddle Sideways: what came up during that last 90-sec?
    Riddle Sideways: or didn't :)
Adams Rubble: wow, you are sounding like Pema :)
Adams Rubble: nothing came up in that one for me
    Riddle Sideways: ha, somebody should!
    Riddle Sideways: giggles
Adams Rubble has always been a rebel
Riddle Sideways: and Pema would call you on it
Adams Rubble: well once he did
    Riddle Sideways: :)
    Adams Rubble: battle of wills
Adams Rubble: he turned out to be correct :)
    Riddle Sideways: ha, very funny
    Riddle Sideways: how that happens
Adams Rubble: Pema always refused to acknowledge what a wonderful teacher he is
Adams Rubble: we were so fortunate to have him teach us for that time
Riddle Sideways: even more fortunate that a sustaining teaching was setup
Adams Rubble: Although he was with us much longer than we expected, I never realized how short a time it was going to be

Adams Rubble: I could have been a better student
    Riddle Sideways: ok, repeats that
    Riddle Sideways: echoes that thought
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Riddle Sideways: the "coulda been"
    Adams Rubble: yes

Adams Rubble: and with Steven too
    Adams Rubble: Stim
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: there are Stim talks and writings online
    Adams Rubble: yes
Riddle Sideways: and the wiki has many good repeat reads
    Adams Rubble: yes
Adams Rubble: and there is my telephone book
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: still go back to the zeroeth time sessions
Adams Rubble: I should do that again
Riddle Sideways: each of us (my me's) should have a top 10 lists of sessions
    Adams Rubble: your avatars?
Riddle Sideways: the Firesign Theater session is at the top of the funniest sessions list
    Adams Rubble: :)
                   --BELL--
Adams Rubble: Their Facebook post today had a photograph of a sign that said (America is the best country in the nation"
Adams Rubble: the sign appropriately was ratty looking
Riddle Sideways: todo list = add their FB page to daily read
Riddle Sideways: a quick search looks like Riddle has only brought up the Rainbow Family of Living Light 4 times
Riddle Sideways: was on the PHC / Garrison Keller site and had to add the pretty good joke of the day to the daily read list
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: what is the Rainbow Family of Living Light?
Riddle Sideways: there is no (one) good explantion
    Riddle Sideways: on purpose
Riddle Sideways: some can be found at http://www.starsrainbowrideboard.org...irror/rainbow/
Adams Rubble: If it is garrison Keiler I get the idea
    Riddle Sideways: re: Rainbow Family
Riddle Sideways: in 1975 went to the Arkansas gathering
    Adams Rubble: thank you
Riddle Sideways: and have followed (and sometimes attended) them since
Adams Rubble: he left us a wealth of videos like the wiki
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: how multiple threads of these sessions go on and humans parse them is amazing
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: trying to get a cognitive bot to understand is very hard
Adams Rubble: and some people can do it without looking up from their cell phone
    Riddle Sideways: yep :)
Adams Rubble: of course they are walking through traffic that way too

Riddle Sideways: was able to listen to the last Garrison Keller show, Sunday
Riddle Sideways: PHC is getting a new host
Adams Rubble: I did too yesterday
    Riddle Sideways: after 42 years
Adams Rubble: wow, I did not know it was that long
    Riddle Sideways: 1974
Riddle Sideways: didn't start listening until around 1980
Adams Rubble: hmmm 1974 does not seem so long ago
    Riddle Sideways: lol
    Riddle Sideways: no it doesn't
    Riddle Sideways: seems like yesterday
Adams Rubble: my radio listening days were pretty much before then
Adams Rubble: now we have the internet to catch up
Riddle Sideways: found that parents house could not pick up the station
Riddle Sideways: so would tape it onto 120min cassettes (hard to find)
Adams Rubble: pbs stations weren't always the most powerful
Riddle Sideways: and listen then send to them
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: dad would take portable cassette radio out to the back yard
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: and listen from a lawn chair
Riddle Sideways: while watching the grass grow
Riddle Sideways: there is a speed of life that PHC brought out
Riddle Sideways: a time that is well worth bringing back
Adams Rubble: Keiler is a great observer
Riddle Sideways: and the sound affects routines that only radio was great at

Adams Rubble: most of us do not live in small communities any more
Adams Rubble: fun to watch his sound effects man
Riddle Sideways: this village is mostly small, but sophisticated too much
                   --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: grew up in that small community, it might have been in NY but it was Lake Woebegon
Riddle Sideways: knew all the people in his stories
Riddle Sideways: he had changed their real names (from Benson to Bunsen)
    Adams Rubble: :)

Riddle Sideways: however, ... we are supposed to be chatting about Juno
Riddle Sideways: and the Jupiter mission
    Adams Rubble: are we?
    Riddle Sideways: no, not really
Adams Rubble: I expect that Juno will try to put Jupiter in his place
mythological ref to sisters and wives.
Riddle Sideways: the amazing thing of throwing a pebble into the sky
Riddle Sideways: and 5 years later
Riddle Sideways: get it hung up in a tree in space
    Riddle Sideways: parked in orbit
Adams Rubble: the space program has been amazing in the background all these years; we are a fiortunate generation to see it all
Riddle Sideways: the gov has never understood the value
Riddle Sideways: keep cutting their budgets
Adams Rubble: ahhh, thought you said governor but you meant government
Riddle Sideways: because no returns to voters real soon
    Adams Rubble: yes
    Riddle Sideways: dang, shorthand taking
    Adams Rubble: since Kennedy

Adams Rubble: we keep electing the wrong leaders
Riddle Sideways: what ever happened to "Ask not what gov can do for you " (end right there!!!)
Adams Rubble: now it is ask how you can cut government
Adams Rubble: hmm, sounds a little like Dan Quale
    Riddle Sideways: yep
Riddle Sideways: Kenedy wanted/got kids educated to be smart enough to go to the moon and beyond
    Riddle Sideways: and form sentences
Riddle Sideways: wha up wit dat
Adams Rubble: there are people with a vested interest in destroying the educational system and ohers that just use it as a cash cow
Adams Rubble: we are going to depress ourselves if not careful
Riddle Sideways: no child left behind
Riddle Sideways: sorry, but already got depressed over it
Riddle Sideways: back to calulating more then 5 years ago that 35 minutes of fuel would be about right if fired at 2.609 miles away
Adams Rubble: Dan Quayle: "I stand by all the misstatements that I've made. "
Riddle Sideways: too bad 'W' didn't stand by all of his
Adams Rubble: Let's hope we do not get the president that would make "W" look good
    Riddle Sideways: exactly
Adams Rubble: If he wins, they won't be able to blame it on the women :)
                   --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: possibly on some women that would vote for him anyway (that is not understandable)
Riddle Sideways: ok, more depressed now
    Adams Rubble: sorry

Riddle Sideways: thanks for a swell hour :)
Riddle Sideways: need to go think angry thoughts
Adams Rubble: I hope you have a nice day and don;t run into anyone esle who brings up politics
Riddle Sideways: ha, think a call to a republican woman is in order
Adams Rubble: there always are the nine seconds :)
Riddle Sideways: thank you for your time
Adams Rubble: bye for now :)
    Riddle Sideways: by
