    Eden Haiku: Good morning Riddle:)
Riddle Sideways: Good [time zone], Edan :)
    Riddle Sideways: another Monday
Eden Haiku: Still morning here, but later: 10 o’clock. Just got up too :)
    Riddle Sideways: nice :)
Eden Haiku: Been away from SL for a week and it seems like ages ...
Riddle Sideways: when one spends time away from a second life
Eden Haiku: Missed your TSK report I guess but I will read the log.

    --BELL--

    Riddle Sideways: that other life
Riddle Sideways: missed the TSK meeting also
Eden Haiku: Ah, that other life sometimes is demanding:)
Riddle Sideways: am working the book at two places
Bleu Oleander: 's current display-name is "Bleu".
Eden Haiku: Oh, you missed too... So let’,s attend next Thursday....
Bleu Oleander: morning Eden, Riddle :)
Eden Haiku: Good morning Bleu :)
Riddle Sideways: ok, will really try
    Eden Haiku: Me too...
Riddle Sideways: ok, a definite maybe
Riddle Sideways: morning, (we decided), Bleu
Eden Haiku: A definite maybe, I love your hues Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: am studying another book that is all about the hues between no and yes, bad and good, binaries
Eden Haiku: Oh, excellent, the in-between worlds!
Riddle Sideways: yes, fanaticism all one way or the other is equally bad
Eden Haiku: Spent my week end traveling into non-ordinary realities in a shamanic workshop. Lots of in-betweens :)
    Riddle Sideways: oh fun
Eden Haiku: It was so much fun yes! Laughed a lot.
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Eden Haiku: What about your week ends?
    Bleu Oleander: nice here :)

World had an eerily golden tint

    Riddle Sideways: golden here
    Riddle Sideways: listening to helicopters
Eden Haiku: So nice to take a break from the news sometimes:)
Riddle Sideways: the Big Sur fire is kinda close
    Bleu Oleander: close to you?
Eden Haiku: Oh is it? Are you worried for your safety Riddle?
Riddle Sideways: it won't make it to the house
    Eden Haiku: Pheeww...
Riddle Sideways: no, they stopped the northward movement
Eden Haiku: But still it's so sad...
Riddle Sideways: yes, thousands of acres
    Bleu Oleander: :(
Eden Haiku: It seems all weather phenomenons are good for the earth, but from the point of view of people who live there...
Riddle Sideways: not much ash at home, but sun was semi-blocked all day
Riddle Sideways: fire is good for forests
Riddle Sideways: not for the people there
Bleu Oleander: a binary of sorts
Riddle Sideways: animals (mostly) run away
Eden Haiku: Being blocked from the sun is difficult...
Eden Haiku: Sorry to hear about that Riddle...
Riddle Sideways: world had an eerily Golden tint
Bleu Oleander: air quality compromised too?
    Eden Haiku: listening
Riddle Sideways: the chemicals that are sprayed on the fire have seeds in it also
    Bleu Oleander: seeds?
Riddle Sideways: yep, many people have breathing issues
Riddle Sideways: seeds to grow back,
Bleu Oleander: wow didn't know that
Riddle Sideways: but not the nature/natural area seeds :(
    Eden Haiku: Neither did I...
    Riddle Sideways: just learned that
    Riddle Sideways: shhhhh bell
    Eden Haiku: :)

Back to alternate, augmented, adjusted realities

Riddle Sideways: enough of that, back to AR (alternate, augmented, adjusted, ...) realities
Riddle Sideways: there was a reporter at a State Dept. briefing caught playing Pokemon Go
Eden Haiku: Still have my Cardboard for augmented reality unpacked :)
Riddle Sideways: went to use Cardboard a week ago and found the little magnet got lost
Riddle Sideways: using another from around the house, but not quite as good
Eden Haiku: And children from Syria photographed with Pokemon characters billboards saying: 'Come rescue me’ :)
Bleu Oleander: oh my didn't see that Eden
Eden Haiku: Now THE question: did you two downloaded Pokemon GO?
    Bleu Oleander: nope
Eden Haiku: nope here also. Resisting it. For now:)
Bleu Oleander: I personally don't see the value of spending my time like that ... but understand that its popular
Eden Haiku: Riddle? Oh oh, is he addicted yet?
Eden Haiku: So silly to see pictures of these young people peering into their phones:)
Bleu Oleander: seems so, but they might have a different sensibility for that kind of thing
Riddle Sideways: back, was googling for that billboard
Riddle Sideways: nope, have not downloaded
Eden Haiku: Did you find it? Saw that on Twitter a few days ago.
Riddle Sideways: nope, saw other billboards
    Eden Haiku: Found this: http://venturebeat.com/2016/07/23/syrian-children-hold-pokemon-go-photos-to-say-come-save-me/
Eden Haiku: Maybe "billboards' isn't the right word...
Riddle Sideways: Canada "we Welcome Syrian Refugees ..."
Eden Haiku: They hold the thing in their hands...
    Bleu Oleander: heartbreaking
Eden Haiku: Photos rather yes... (reading)
    Riddle Sideways: so sad
    Eden Haiku: Very sad...
Riddle Sideways: thanks for link, maybe
Eden Haiku: And also that young Syrians once refugees in Europe start killing people like in Germany lately...
Eden Haiku: Such a difficult time...
Riddle Sideways: that person was born and raised in Germany [True: there were a few incidents in the last days. But the Reutlingen machete attacker on Sunday was a 21yo Syrian refugee]
Eden Haiku: I remember marching against the war in Irak along with MILLIONS of people around the world in 2003 or so...
Eden Haiku: The world started titlting back then I'm afraid...
Riddle Sideways: so possible parents should be stopped from immigration?
Bleu Oleander: sorry phone call must go ... take care and nice to see you both!
Eden Haiku: I don't know the answer to that question Riddle. It's just so much human misery all over...
Riddle Sideways: by Bleu, take care

    The benevolent spirits of nature

Eden Haiku: bye Bleu, have a nice day!
Eden Haiku: It was so good traveling to meet the benevolent spirits of nature during this week end:)
Riddle Sideways: have been watching a netflix series "The Sixies" and maybe that was when it tittled
    Eden Haiku: In the sixties?
Riddle Sideways: some stuff happened back then
Riddle Sideways: good to remember the benevolent spirits
    Eden Haiku: Yep:)
Riddle Sideways: must try to remember them
Riddle Sideways: must bring them to the forefront
Riddle Sideways: (a point might be) there was lost in a vid game or SL and caught up in real life, outdoors, etc.
Riddle Sideways: now the several realities are combining
Riddle Sideways: can be out in nature
    Riddle Sideways: and finding Pokemon
Eden Haiku: And it felt good also hearing about the benevolent spirits others met. The collective intelligence raised a lot during the two days! We were 20 along with the shaman and her assistant.
Riddle Sideways: out in nature finding the hard to find realities
Eden Haiku: :) Ah yes Pokemon Go in the woods...
Riddle Sideways: which spirits each found
Eden Haiku: I met the spirit of the wind, the spirit of the spruce tree, spirit of the lotus, the spirit of thunder...
Riddle Sideways: you collected 4, wow
Riddle Sideways: that is a lot of points :)
Riddle Sideways: not meaning to trivialize
Riddle Sideways: but doing the comparision
Eden Haiku: [missing Riddle Pokemon’s joke] More than that, we did many journeys. Some met the spirit of the rain, spirit of the wind also, spirit of the moon. Oh yes, I met the black moon :)
Eden Haiku: So I guess one is supposed to upgrade to a higher level:) [caught the joke finally]
    Riddle Sideways: you leveled up
    Eden Haiku: LOL

    Black moon

Eden Haiku: I was surprised to discover there are spirits of the weather :)
Riddle Sideways: black moon is a new one, not heard of it
Eden Haiku: One woman made the connection with this ancient practice of our grandmothers: they would hang a rosary on the hanging line before the day of their wedding to make sure the sun would shine. I found that utterly funny...
Eden Haiku: Black moon is just a breath in-between the moment where the waning moon vanishes and the waxing moon starts growing. It’s totally invisible then.
Riddle Sideways: thank you, had not heard of that, but makes sense
Riddle Sideways: very different from the sunset doing that flash thing
Eden Haiku: We study core shamanism so it's not from a specific culture but as the shaman is a mixed-blooded Native from here it’s a bit tainted from traditions from here.

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: There was also a young woman from Russia who now lives here but she was born in Siberia and told us about shamanism from the Altai mountains. She even spoke Russian at the sacred fire ceremony :)
Eden Haiku: And there was a visiting couple from Switzerland who travel the world to learn about different traditions and told us about some shintoist practices.
Riddle Sideways: good! a teacher brings their learning to the students, but is tainted with their personal slant. mix that them visitors bringing around the world examples also
    Riddle Sideways: the students expand
Eden Haiku: Yes, You feel so much alive when the atmosphere of practice is so free. I love it. And the vegetarian food was delicious!!!
Riddle Sideways: whatttt!!! they forced you to eat vegetarian? lol
    Eden Haiku: Hehe
Riddle Sideways: it is possible to have delicious vegetables
Eden Haiku: Many people were carnivores (I asked) but they enjoyed the food too :)
Eden Haiku: The cook was tattooed all over but she was a great cook!
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, does not seem possible :)
Eden Haiku: Yeah, I know, but it was. A young girl. Anglophone. A mysterious tribe for me. I cannot decipher them as well...
Eden Haiku: Like French Canadians, I can almost tell their life stories you know...
Eden Haiku: Just by the way they talk, where they are from and so on...

    A strange note

    Eden Haiku: A strange note.
Riddle Sideways: however, Anglophones are funny
Eden Haiku: Was talking with some participant who was telling me he was very interested in dreams and was part of a small group called The Rainbow (in French)
    Riddle Sideways: Rainbow Family?
Eden Haiku: I happened to have a cleaning man for a while who was also participating at L'arc en Ciel (no, it’s not connected to The Rainbow family)
Eden Haiku: So I asked the man if he knew him and he did,
Eden Haiku: He was the weirdest cleaning man we had in our house.
Eden Haiku: He would organize the bookshelves by alphabetical order but refused to clean the windows......
    Riddle Sideways: ha
Eden Haiku: Said we didn’t brush the cat enough and so on... We ended up firing him and went back to cleaning the house ourselves...
Eden Haiku: I couldn’t remmeber his name but when I told the man the story he knew exactly who he was. I said to say hello nevertheless. And I learnt he had died a few years ago. Sad...
Riddle Sideways: so many stories in the few lines you just wrote
Eden Haiku: he was in his forties or something. Young to die. From a degenerative disease.
Riddle Sideways: google says "L'arc en Ciel" is a rock band
Eden Haiku: Sorry for the typos Riddle, the in-betweens of typos :) [I edited them out so they remain for Riddle’s enjoyment alone]

Riddle Sideways: the Algorithms won't find it on this one
    Eden Haiku: Rather: http://larcenciel.org/
Eden Haiku: The first link was only a picture, sorry...
Riddle Sideways: Face cat reports there is not enough scrubbing of her ears lately
    Eden Haiku: Ahhh...
Riddle Sideways: this anglophone with look for translator,
Eden Haiku: Hopefully, I will see you tomorrow at your session Riddle:;)
    Riddle Sideways: hopefully
Eden Haiku: Thank you for listening to my rambles this morning. Still have to unpack physically and otherwise. So many experiences...
Riddle Sideways: yes, so many experiences

Oops! Slept through session this morning, thanks to son and friend, who kept themselves and dog and sometimes me, up most of the night with good fun and mischief! When the alarm went off this morning, I was too tired to make the "Eden session!!" connection that might have gotten me out of my comfortable bed. :)

    Workshop sounds fun!

Fires and world events not so much so. Have seen photos of the blazing - hard to believe. So much hard to believe... sigh.

TSK session a good one to read - am trying to get our act together with a more complete outline for upcoming KNOWLEDGE sections, but have to friend not just TIME but summer energies that want to keep doing nonsense like last night's and the few nights before... running around town getting stuck in in storms and enjoying not playing myself but vicariously involving in Pokemon Go with daughters. ^.^ edited 16:51, 25 Jul 2016
