Beautiful day here today... but so were the black flies :-) Went for a woods walk. Among the trees, it's springy life below - the earth as my feet know it is built from life. To the sides are green and browns playing with open spaces, breathing winds, pointing with intent and interest. The air itself is formed by life. Why is the sky blue? Life makes it so, gift of protection and thrival and beauty for its children.
The Japanese, not surprisingly, have a concept of forest bathing. This is what it is, a real 3D to the roots of our analog immersion. Feels physically and emotionally and spiritually healthy.
Meanwhile, in the day to day, occasional dew droplets?
What a perfect description, "forest bathing," Eos, and an excellently concise video, Storm.
:::Well wishes for you Catrina:::
When I was reading the other day, one eye began to itch as though something was scratching inside, but I've yet to be able to find it. I finished the book reading with just one eye, actually. Was quite funny to see. Anyway, it becomes more tedious as the day goes on... so much so that several times even writing this bit I've stopped to close my eyes. Soon I'll rest them for the night, though I'd rather peek in on Eos's session coming up soon.
Spent much of the day cleaning and dealing with various things that have arisen. Oh, and a little one eyed reading of Infinite Jest. MUST resume morning Qi Gong tomorrow!
Hmm, get yourself checked out, Eliza - sounds possibly like corneal edema, feels like a scratch in your eye (a condition I had quite a while back - Muro 128 helps symptoms).
Thanks Eos, will look for Muro128 today... have been using basic Visine, but nada. I made an eye appointment and the earliest I could be seen is next week, but thanks for introducing a possibility. From descriptions online it doesn't line up regarding times of the day when it is worse, or halo vision, but perhaps in early stages.
Thank you for the link, Eliza, that does help :)
