The Guardian for this meeting was Bruce Mowbray. The comments are by Bruce Mowbray.

    Qt Core: Hi Bruce, Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Qt, Bruce :)
Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Eliza and Qt.
Bruce Mowbray: sry I was distracted... I'm showing Elan where Santoshima's skydeck is.
Eliza Madrigal: oh :) no worries
Bruce Mowbray: I gave him a mission to come back with a LM and to give it to me.

ElanVitalo Resident: I have it for you now, Bruce.
    Eliza Madrigal: helpful fellow
Bruce Mowbray: an excellent bot, to be sure.
Eliza Madrigal: I've just woken from a crazy pab dream
ElanVitalo Resident slides LM over to Bruce.
    Bruce Mowbray: Really!?
Bruce Mowbray: Please say more, Eliza.
Eliza Madrigal: I've had many wonderful PaB dreams over the years, but this one seems just a big pile of associations about current changes :) You were in it though, Bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: Wow!
Eliza Madrigal: I was with Sunshine, walking around this very dark space.... the feeling was that it had gone dark rather recently and there were few resources....
    Bruce Mowbray nods, listens.
Eliza Madrigal: and I was telling her about my research into community living
Eliza Madrigal: and she asked me whether I was planning to move into
    Eliza Madrigal: Solar House
Eliza Madrigal: and I wasn't sure, I said, but I needed to get to my session
    Bruce Mowbray: hmmmm....
Eliza Madrigal: so I look across the space to see you sitting alone at a table
    Bruce Mowbray thinks, oh my.
Eliza Madrigal: and I'm thinking if I don't get over there you are going to think I didn't come to session...
    Bruce Mowbray: heh heh.
Eliza Madrigal: but I still can't make it. there are just so many things and people in the way, on the way there
    Bruce Mowbray nods, understands.
Eliza Madrigal: so that's about all I remember :)) BUT... here I am, haha
    Bruce Mowbray: Great!
    Bruce Mowbray: Thanks for sharing.
Bruce Mowbray: and thanks for being here, too.
    Eliza Madrigal grins
Bruce Mowbray: I also had a night of powerful dreams,
Eliza Madrigal: oh? would love to hear some
Bruce Mowbray: and I even remembered most of them when i woke, most unusual for me.
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bleu :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Bleu.
    Bleu Oleander: hiya :)
    Qt Core: Hi Bleu
Eliza Madrigal: did they all have similar themes?
Bruce Mowbray: Eliza and I are sharing dreams, Bleu.
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Bruce Mowbray: mostly just one big dream, actually.
Bruce Mowbray: I was in a "factory" -- but it wasn't anything like any factory I've ever been in -- lots and lots of big, empty hallways,
Bruce Mowbray: and very, very few people,
Bruce Mowbray: only two that I can remember....
    Bruce Mowbray: (drop approaches)....

    --BELL--

Bruce Mowbray: and my "job" was to pound on pillows, ones as big as these cushions...
    Bruce Mowbray: [drops]
Bruce Mowbray: I think I was supposed to "fluff them up" - - - but I kept pounding and pounding and they wouldn't fluff up.
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Bruce Mowbray: Then someone appeared from decades ago in my RL,
Bruce Mowbray: and she told me it would be all right if I didn't fluff them quite as much as I wanted to.
    Bleu Oleander ponders fluffless dreams
Eliza Madrigal: (sounds like buckwheat meditation cushions)
Bruce Mowbray: I keenly recall the factory itself, though.
Bruce Mowbray: enormous hallways with no one in them..
    Bruce Mowbray: yellow brick-tiled.
    Eliza Madrigal: hmmm
Bruce Mowbray: so that's about it for me,
Bruce Mowbray: except I was amazed how vivid the memory of it was when i woke.
    Eliza Madrigal: yellow brick road?
Bruce Mowbray: Nope, just yellow brick (like ceramic brick) walls.
Bruce Mowbray: as in some high school, maybe.
Eliza Madrigal: felt vivid but, happy? emotion?
    Bruce Mowbray: Hmmm.
Bruce Mowbray: well, it was basically good,
Bruce Mowbray: and i especially was grateful for the friend who came to rescue me from all my pillow-pounding.
Bruce Mowbray: I've not seen her for maybe thirty years.
    Eliza Madrigal: love that image
    Bruce Mowbray nods.
Bruce Mowbray: don't even know if she's still living, actually.
Eliza Madrigal: any way to find out?
Bruce Mowbray: Oh yes, if I really wanted to.
Bruce Mowbray: She lives about nine miles away from my typist's farm.
Bruce Mowbray: but we really have no 'connectors' anymore.
Eliza Madrigal: 9 miles and 30 years
    Bruce Mowbray: yeppers.
ElanVitalo Resident adds all of this to databases.
Bruce Mowbray: San's skybox is really lovely.
Bruce Mowbray: (Maybe I shouldn't be telling you that, i don't know.)
Eliza Madrigal: she's already building in new area?
Bruce Mowbray: BUT, it is really lovely anyway.
Bruce Mowbray: Don't know if it's in new area...
Eliza Madrigal: lol, I'm sure compliments are okay
Bruce Mowbray: It is WAYYYYYYYY up there!!!!!!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Bruce Mowbray: Hope I've not told tales out of "factory," as it were.
    Eliza Madrigal laughs
Bruce Mowbray: I think the intention is for Original Face to meet there, eventually.
Eliza Madrigal: no harm done if so
    Bruce Mowbray: kk, ty.
Eliza Madrigal: I am wondering whether I need as much space as I've chosen, especially if OF will meet elsewhere
Bruce Mowbray: (one fewer pillow to pound, then).
    Eliza Madrigal: wonderful metaphor actually
Bruce Mowbray: If I'm understanding rightly, OF's concern is privacy, since much of what we share is pretty intimate... (or confidential, or one of those...)
Eliza Madrigal: dreams are amazing for that
Bruce Mowbray: Dreams are GREAT metaphor-makers.
    ElanVitalo Resident takes notes.
    Bruce Mowbray: [So is art.]
Eliza Madrigal: lots of art comes straight out of dreams :) so, little difference that i can see
Bleu Oleander: what are you going to use your space for Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: retreat, has been the plan
ElanVitalo Resident ponders, Thanks to Bruce over there, I can hardly watch a movie any more without seeing layers and layers of "meaning...."
Bleu Oleander: so not just OF?
Eliza Madrigal: no, but thinking of OF I was going to set aside part of the skybox space for how they'd like things
    Bruce Mowbray: Hmmm.
Eliza Madrigal: it makes sense for San to design the space though
    Bruce Mowbray: Confused...
Bruce Mowbray: I will chat with San about it later.
Bleu Oleander: somehow I would think that a retreat space needs space :)
Eliza Madrigal: no worries at all
    Eliza Madrigal laughs
    Qt Core: Hi Catrina
Eliza Madrigal: well, I have continued to use the retreat space we have, more so than my village spot
    Catrinamonblue Resident: slips in quietly
Bleu Oleander: hard to retreat in a small parcel :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Cat :)
    Bleu Oleander: hi Cat :)
Eliza Madrigal: true. retreats need space to wander and walk in
Bruce Mowbray: All I know is that San preferred not to meet off the PaB grounds... and that she built a sky deck with some pillows in a circle -- presumably for OF's sessions.
Bruce Mowbray: So, I really don't know more than that,
Eliza Madrigal: its fine... makes sense, Bruce
Bruce Mowbray: but it's great that your space can double as a PaB retreat space, Eliza (at a high level, as it were.)
Eliza Madrigal: I have just been wondering whether I am choosing too much space for what I'll be able to make lovely
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Cat!
    Bruce Mowbray nods, understands.

    --BELL--

Bleu Oleander: I think the next smaller space than yours Eliza would be a 512 parcel, with 117 prims ... small if you are doing a retreat space I think but possible for sure :)
Bruce Mowbray: I am SOOOO gratified that pabbers have stepped forth with so much concern for the group and its territories. . . Storm has been incredibly helpful.
Bleu Oleander: especially if you are using trees and ponds and landscaping stuff
    Bruce Mowbray listens.
    Eliza Madrigal nods, true
Eliza Madrigal: I'm not sure what the size of the present retreat space is... maybe I'll wander and measure a bit
ElanVitalo Resident has noted that even our fountain sessions seem to have picked up, of late.
    Bruce Mowbray nods.
Eliza Madrigal: any theories why, apart from having something practical to work out?
Bleu Oleander: good idea ... will give you a reference point
Bruce Mowbray: Perhaps a common sense of "finality" and a desire not to go there.
ElanVitalo Resident continues to take notes.
Bleu Oleander: there seems to be a lot of energy going into this change process and also to mark 7 years
    Bruce Mowbray: Yes! Wonderful!
Eliza Madrigal: a lot has happened in 7 years :)
    Bleu Oleander: indeed!
    Bruce Mowbray gets misty-eyed.
Eliza Madrigal: I keep saying the same thing... that we've been really fortunate to happen upon this
ElanVitalo Resident looks up "misty-eyed" in his databases.
Bleu Oleander hands Bruce a tissue

    Bruce Mowbray: TY!
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Bleu Oleander: yw :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
    Bleu Oleander: brb
Eliza Madrigal: I've been waiting for this year's main PaB dream, but this one, and one with Pema a few weeks ago, is as much as I've had. The one with Pema was pretty nice
ElanVitalo Resident gets misty-eyed reading the definition of misty-eyed.
    Bruce Mowbray: another dream, Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: was more about personal integration of the time I think
    Bruce Mowbray nods.
Bruce Mowbray: i know you were pretty anxious about the big changes, if i might just report that. And so much seems to be going so well with it, now.
Bruce Mowbray: so much focused energy.
    Catrinamonblue Resident: nods
Eliza Madrigal: no real sense of PaB on the whole, but Pema often is in dreams "a little off to the side" and was in this one. At the end I hugged a girl who had a prominent learning disability but who had been running the front desk/phones. And she said in my ear "god is love."
Eliza Madrigal: I think she was me. :)
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I agree that she was probably you.
Bruce Mowbray: Leaving so soon, Qt?
Eliza Madrigal: so that had a sweet feeling and maybe a marker for turning the page to a new chapter
Bruce Mowbray: oh good, you're staying.
Qt Core: just an unplanned relog ;-)
Bruce Mowbray nods, understands that sweet feeling.
Eliza Madrigal: hahah, like that phrase "Unplanned relog"
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
Bruce Mowbray: That's what i feel when I wake up --- sry, That's what I feel when my typist wakes up.
    Bruce Mowbray: relog.
Eliza Madrigal: ah, thought you were referring to sweet feeling :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Also that!
Bruce Mowbray: Want to hear a secret?
    Eliza Madrigal: yes! love secrets
    Catrinamonblue Resident: listens
    Eliza Madrigal: lol
Bruce Mowbray: My typist begins every day with 20 minutes of marching to Sousa marches.
Qt Core: (those couple seconds before you realize your place in RL after waking up)
Bruce Mowbray: He does that in order to find his balance - - because of his on-going vertigo affliction.
Bruce Mowbray: (which might have turned into a blessing for him, actually.)
Eliza Madrigal: how interesting! so that's your strategy to acclimate
ElanVitalo Resident takes voluminous notes on this one.
    Catrinamonblue Resident: interesting
    Bruce Mowbray: Yes, my strategy.
Bruce Mowbray: and it gets my blood and energies flowing for the day.
Bruce Mowbray: I (my typist) needs to find horizontal and vertical again each morning.
Bruce Mowbray: and there's nothing like a rip-roaring Sousa march to do that.
Eliza Madrigal: :)) call it coping mechanism or entry ritual
Bruce Mowbray: (I - my typist - used to do that with Tai Chi, but it's a bit difficult so early in the morning, and with vertigo, to do the "crane" if you know what I mean.)
    Eliza Madrigal: I'd imagine so!
    Bruce Mowbray: heh heh
    Catrinamonblue Resident: yes
Eliza Madrigal: we have to rezz into the world every day
Bruce Mowbray: yepper, that we have to do.
    Bruce Mowbray: [drop approaches]

    --BELL--

    Eliza Madrigal drops approaches
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
ElanVitalo Resident makes note of how diligent Brucie is to honor traditions -- when otherwise he seems to have virtually NO traditions whatsoever.
Bruce Mowbray ponders how little Elan knows about Brucie.
    Eliza Madrigal grins
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Bruce Mowbray also wonders how long Elan intends to wear that moth-eaten scarf.
    ElanVitalo Resident: Yikes!
Eliza Madrigal: does anyone know if there is benefit to my going ahead and signing up for premium membership now as opposed to right when changeover is happening?
Bruce Mowbray: I have no idea, Eliza, sry.
Bleu Oleander: you just need to do it to buy land
Catrinamonblue Resident: as far as I can see you can prob wait
Bleu Oleander: so no need to do it early
Bleu Oleander: Storm will give you plenty of notice :)
Eliza Madrigal: okay, I wondered whether to go ahead, but as long as Storm is holding the space it seems fine
Eliza Madrigal: maybe we can begin sharing shopping resources?
Qt Core: over already being premium at the right moment in spite of eventual issues in becoming one and having time to experiment with the premium powers none i think ;-)
    Bruce Mowbray nods.
Bleu Oleander: he said he'll give us a week to claim the land when he's ready
Bruce Mowbray: Maybe that's a question that could get answered at the up-coming Guardians' session, Eliza.
Eliza Madrigal: love your phrases, Qt "premium powers"
Bruce Mowbray: (in less than 10 minutes from now.)
Eliza Madrigal: As you can tell from notices I don't have much on the agenda... few new emails being circulated
Bleu Oleander: I'm a premium member now because I have other land and am addicted to "premium power" lol
    Eliza Madrigal: hahahaha
    ElanVitalo Resident: ha ha.
    Catrinamonblue Resident: lol
Eliza Madrigal: life in the fast lane
Bleu Oleander: virtual fast lane lol
Qt Core: what are those powers besides owning land and the stipend ?
Bruce Mowbray muses to self: No thanks.
Bruce Mowbray: (been in the fast lane, done that)....
Bleu Oleander: not much else Qt
Bleu Oleander: occasional gifts I think
Qt Core: (and the good feeling of supporting LL not like freeloaders like myself)
ElanVitalo Resident feels naked without scarf; looks for another one.
    Eliza Madrigal: haha
Eliza Madrigal: no such thing as freeloader in SL I think... everyone who shows up plays a part
Eliza Madrigal: hard to feel like that in RL sometimes, although just as true
Eliza Madrigal: was watching cute little AI show and the android is fixing a clock. he says "the difference between objects and humans is that objects are scrapped once they no longer have a use."
    Bleu Oleander: hmmmm
    ElanVitalo Resident covers ears.
Eliza Madrigal: first show I've seen that made me really feel what AI progression might be like
    Eliza Madrigal smiles at Elan
    ElanVitalo Resident: ty.
Eliza Madrigal: well, that was the beginning of the understanding and bond between android and human
Eliza Madrigal: as they came to enlighten one another :)
Bruce Mowbray recalls how much his typist related to the AI program in the movie "her."

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1798709/

    Eliza Madrigal: mmm, nods
Eliza Madrigal: there wasn't much of a power struggle there though, because the worlds were so different, on such different tracks, though overlapping
ElanVitalo Resident recalls that Bruce's typist has watched that movie at least six times, all the way through, too.
    Eliza Madrigal: wow
    Catrinamonblue Resident: wow
Bruce Mowbray: You're giving away my secrets, Elan!
    Eliza Madrigal: I only watched 3 :))
Bruce Mowbray: But alas, it's true.
    Bruce Mowbray: Great, Eliza.
    Bleu Oleander: only 2
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Bruce Mowbray: Maybe my typist will watch it again tonight. I will recommend that to him.
ElanVitalo Resident thinks: here we go again!
    ElanVitalo Resident: Yikes!
Bleu Oleander: looking forward to new movie, "ex machina"

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0470752/

Eliza Madrigal hopes to watch Snowpiercer tonight
Catrinamonblue Resident: slips to the village hall
Eliza Madrigal: I haven't heard of that Bleu, I don't think
Bruce Mowbray: I'm also looking forward to that movie (Ex Machina) , Bleu.  Have already seen "Snowpiercer.")

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1706620/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

    Bleu Oleander: coming soon
Bruce Mowbray also slips over to Village Hall.
Eliza Madrigal: see you soon Cat
Eliza Madrigal: I'll have to look it up
    Bleu Oleander: :)
