    Qt Core: Hi Wol
    Wol Euler: hello qt
Qt Core: between mentioning the dream workshop, the little fear of pab expiring and some other issues i had one of my usual weekend weird dream tonight
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Wol Euler: do tell?
Qt Core: i drove in my car to a little beautiful town in the mountain
Qt Core: (don't like driving and mountain driving even less
    Wol Euler smiles.
Qt Core: there i went to a beautiful mansion where i met my new adoptive family (?!) and the "father" was someone i barely knowi saw yesterday on the street and wondered how much older he seemed with his beard starting to whitening
Qt Core: then all the family went into the town with a car that was something between a van and a tourist "no ceiling" bus
Qt Core: there i spent a lot of time (and it was a very detailed scene) searching for a new pair of shoes, ket say light trekking shoes to be able to wander the nearby mountains
    Qt Core: the end
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: interesting to base a dream around a passing near-stranger
Wol Euler: and so particularly him
Qt Core: he is a local (municipality level) politician, is or was the lsecretary of the local communist party (or whatever it is called now)
    Wol Euler: huh
Wol Euler: so a minor celebrity rahter than a friend?
    Qt Core: yes

    --BELL--

Qt Core: amd we are aproximatively of the same generation if not really age
Wol Euler: what do you think it means that he was to be your adoptive father? How did that feel?
Qt Core: the feeling left when awoken were: where my sister ended and i need those shoes (that i need, the equivalent i have in RL are old and are starting to be not so comfortable to wear even if the were the best (not as in price) i had in decades)
Qt Core: don't know, in the dream he was surely a nice person and the family was quite large, let say 7/10 members
    Wol Euler: wow
Qt Core: interesting thing, i misspelled dream as movie...
    Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: so there was quite a bit of actual real life in the dream, then? him, your shoes ...
Wol Euler: (I too started typing "movie" after you said that :)
Qt Core: yes, and while waiting at the shop store i was thinking that after all i was happy to move there, even if still unsure about the new family
    Qt Core: :-)
    Wol Euler smiles.

    Qt Core: Hi Agatha
    Agatha Macbeth: Good moaning
    Wol Euler: aggerses-
    Wol Euler: good morning
    Agatha Macbeth: How is we?
Qt Core: quite good, you ?
Wol Euler: mostly good, and us?
    Agatha Macbeth: Excellent
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Agatha Macbeth: Mega mega
    Wol Euler: white boy`?
    Agatha Macbeth: Funky chicken?
    Qt Core: ?
Agatha Macbeth: Gimme a break, I just woke up
Qt Core: would a break-fast be enough ?
    Wol Euler: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQwg2JJFm6A
    Agatha Macbeth slurps coffee
Qt Core: the intro would be a good ringtone
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Qt Core: (i like them a little weird)
    Agatha Macbeth waves
Qt Core: this surely will awake people
    Wol Euler chuckles.
Wol Euler: it's one of my favourite songs, and has been for years and years
Wol Euler: this was my introduction to Underworld, it came on in a bar one evening and eventually I had to go up to the counter and ask what it was
Qt Core: it surely get the #cantstoptappingmyfeet tag
    Wol Euler: hehehehh

    --BELL--

    Agatha Macbeth: Who are they?
    Wol Euler: O.O
Qt Core: having this image in my mind, people at the gym doing spinning to this
Wol Euler: only one of the first and definitely the most successful of rave bands
Agatha Macbeth: Nver heard of em
Qt Core: i thing i never herad this song fully
Agatha Macbeth: Doesn't sound like I missed much either :p
Wol Euler: ah well, no accounting for lack of taste, as the poet said
    Agatha Macbeth: Indeed
    Agatha Macbeth: Oscar?
Wol Euler: no just an Emmy
    Wol Euler: *rimshot*
Agatha Macbeth beats you over the head
Wol Euler laughs and dodges away

Wol Euler: I was reading an article commenting on a Radiolab podcast, about the colour of the sky. We think it's blue. Homer did not, nor do most prem
    Wol Euler: pre-modern cultures
Agatha Macbeth: On Mars it's pink
Wol Euler: cultures only learn to see blue quite late in their development
Wol Euler: which come to think of it parallels the way babies develop colour vision
Wol Euler: it doesn't turn on all at once, but arrives in discrete steps, red is first
    Wol Euler: wb
Agatha Macbeth: What colour did they think it was then?
Qt Core: ty, end of the song crash of sl...
Wol Euler: white, or no colour at all, or green
    Agatha Macbeth: WB Qt
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe it was a cloudy day

Wol Euler: which is why Homer talks about the wine-dark sea. Wine is not blue, not even vaguely blue
Wol Euler: not even bad wine
Agatha Macbeth: Is the sea blue tho?
    Wol Euler: https://www.radiolab.org/story/211213-sky-isnt-blue/
Wol Euler: more blue than either yellow or red, wouldn't you say?
Wol Euler: what colour do you think wine is?
Wol Euler: (what colour do you see wine being?)
Agatha Macbeth: Depends on the wine
    Wol Euler: right
Wol Euler: but if he calls it the wine-DARK sea he must be thinking of dark wine

Qt Core: speaking about blue wine watch this untill the end: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=840waOfQ50o
Wol Euler: white wine is not dark
    Wol Euler looks
Agatha Macbeth: Poets are always saying crazy stuff
Agatha Macbeth: Look at Sylvia Plath
Qt Core: and many crazy ones are called poets
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Agatha Macbeth: It's a shamanic thing
Qt Core: or they just have to account for line length
    Wol Euler: 1:22 blue wine
    Wol Euler: damn
Agatha Macbeth: Twas bryllig and the slithy toves...
Wol Euler: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCpLerLKD2k -- companion piece
Qt Core: you don't have idea of the weird things Dante wrote to have every line of the Divina commedia eleven syllable long
    Agatha Macbeth: Hehe
Agatha Macbeth: He was a pretty infernal guy
    Qt Core: sometime paradisiac too

    --BELL--

Qt Core: i like the food related videos of that channel
Agatha Macbeth: Paradisiac is a good word
Agatha Macbeth: Makes me think of nymphomaniac
Qt Core: wondering why the hell part is so much more known than the purgatory and paradise ones
Qt Core: (especially outside of italy)
Agatha Macbeth: Nature of the beast I guess
Qt Core: (and many got tired after the first part)
    Qt Core: ;-)
Wol Euler: probably that has a lot t do with it
    Agatha Macbeth: Could be
    Agatha Macbeth: I blame Beatrice
Qt Core: i looked at some english translation and they are quite easier to read as they are in (almost) modern english
Agatha Macbeth: Easier than Shakespeare then?
Qt Core: probably, we are talking about 1300 italian
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
Qt Core: Shakespeare is a little nearer
    Wol Euler: indeed
    Agatha Macbeth: More Chaucer then
Wol Euler: what age was chaucer?
    Wol Euler: snap
    Wol Euler: 1220-ish?
    Agatha Macbeth: Ish
Qt Core: but sometimes it is still uplifting be able to understand something wrote mor than half a millennium ago that is with no translation like with latin/egiptian
Wol Euler: we are both wrong, 1342-1400
    Wol Euler nods.
Agatha Macbeth: Dante was earlier then
Agatha Macbeth: That surprises me actually
    Qt Core: 1265-1321
    Agatha Macbeth: My my
Qt Core: this is one of the first recorded italian poem and i like it a lot: http://www.as.miami.edu/personal/sevnine/cecco.htm
Qt Core: (with translation in english)
Qt Core: (i find funny that someone that write such things has "angel" in his name ;-) )
    Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe a fallen angel
Qt Core: we haven't changed so much in past 7 centuries ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: Looks that way

    --BELL--

Qt Core: i sadly need to go... in a whirlwind of fire, wind and water ;-) bye all and have fun!
    Wol Euler: heheh
    Agatha Macbeth: Cycle well Qt
Wol Euler: bye qt, enjoy the day
Wol Euler: I too will head off, I'm working this afternoon
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Wol Euler: but before I do: have you cleared your spot in the Village yet?
    Agatha Macbeth: Yep
Agatha Macbeth: Stormy returned my extraneous prims :p
Agatha Macbeth: Including a pair of pants...???...you tell me
    Agatha Macbeth: SL is weird
    Wol Euler: pants?
    Wol Euler: hmmmm
    Agatha Macbeth: Yep
    Wol Euler: prim pants?
Agatha Macbeth: God knows how I rezzed those by mistake
    Wol Euler: huh
    Agatha Macbeth: Must be
Wol Euler: well, good to have them back I guess
Agatha Macbeth: Didn't even miss them!
    Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: well, enjoy the day in your new/old pants
Wol Euler: see you anon, dear Aggers
    Agatha Macbeth: TC Wollage ♥
