[01:06] Wol Euler: guten morgen, yaku
    [01:06] Wol Euler: hello qt
[01:06] Qt Core: Hi Wol, Yaku
[01:07] Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning the two of you
[01:07] Wol Euler: is everyone happy and well-rested today?
[01:07] Yakuzza Lethecus: is it also so cold in italy, qt ?
[01:07] Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, just have my 3rd cup of coffee :)
[01:07] Qt Core: don't know about happy yet but strangely rested
    [01:07] Wol Euler: :)
[01:08] Qt Core: yes, yesterday at 1045 i saw -12 on my car display...
    [01:08] Qt Core: 18:45
    [01:08] Wol Euler: wow
[01:08] Qt Core: it was out of town, in city center where i live only -4,5
[01:09] Yakuzza Lethecus: here it´s -9,5 right now, but two digits minus i really didn´t expect in italy
[01:09] Qt Core: we even got a -36 up in the mountains
[01:10] Wol Euler: -14°C, it says here
[01:10] Wol Euler: that is measured out at the airport, so it'll be a bit warmer in town
[01:10] Wol Euler: i.e. less awfully cold :)
    [01:10] Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
[01:10] Qt Core: not that i was or i will ever be near a place like that in winter (and probably not ever in summers, it is probably somewhere over 3000 meter high)
[01:10] Wol Euler: "warmer" isn't really the right word
[01:11] Qt Core: i found quite funny that while my car was registering those temp i was listening to a cuban orchestra ;-)
    [01:12] Wol Euler smiles.
[01:13] Qt Core: and to think that a week ago it was like spring was just round the corner
[01:13] Wol Euler: yes! I thought that too, it felt warm
[01:13] Qt Core: we even got some mid day +16
[01:15] Yakuzza Lethecus: when it´s like right now, with blue sky and sunshine i even enjoy the cold weather
[01:17] Qt Core: i'm a little afraid about snow melting under the sun (it is clear here too) and then covering road with ice
[01:17] Wol Euler: it's so cold that my heating can't raise the temperature in my apartment above 19.5°C
[01:17] Wol Euler: running all the time, but just cannot keep up with the losses through walls and windows
[01:18] Yakuzza Lethecus gives wol a warming hug ((wol))
[01:18] Wol Euler: awwww, thank you :)

[01:21] Yakuzza Lethecus: thinking of talking about the weather and pabbish or not, my mind triggers thinking about a conversation about isolating and how a freshly isolated house suddenly had fungus a year later since according to the owner the ppl in the flat´s didn´t change their behavior with letting fresh air in
    [01:21] Wol Euler nods.
    [01:22] Wol Euler: it's a known problem
[01:22] Wol Euler: if the house is too well sealed, there are all kinds of health and safety issues that arise
[01:23] Wol Euler: people don't realize how much energy and water vapour our bodies give off
[01:23] Wol Euler: to say nothing of the byproducts of cooking, candle flames etc

[01:23] Qt Core: and it happen to too much sealed minds too ;-)
[01:23] Wol Euler: yes, qt :)
    [01:23] Wol Euler chuckles.
[01:24] Qt Core: speaking of it: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/583414
    [01:27] Wol Euler laughs.
[01:27] Wol Euler: sad but true
[01:28] Qt Core: yes, undecided if cryong or laughing at it
    [01:28] Wol Euler nods.

[01:29] Wol Euler: speaking of which, have you heard of Alain de Botton's latest book / idea?
[01:29] Wol Euler: Religion for Atheists :)
[01:30] Qt Core: it should be a short book... ;-)
    [01:31] Wol Euler: http://www.ted.com/talks/alain_de_bo...heism_2_0.html
[01:31] Wol Euler: sorry, I expressed that badly

[01:31] Wol Euler: the idea is that much good happens around and through religions
[01:31] Yakuzza Lethecus: good covered in 20 minutes :)
[01:32] Wol Euler: great art, music, architecture
[01:32] Yakuzza Lethecus: do you use the ted app on the ipod wol ?
[01:32] Wol Euler: community, social support
[01:32] Wol Euler: oh, don't know that

[01:33] Wol Euler: he's suggesting that atheists could adopt the good bits of religion :)
[01:33] Wol Euler: leaving out the doctrine and mental stagnation :)
[01:33] Qt Core: after all it can't really be all and only bad
    [01:33] Wol Euler: indeed
[01:34] Yakuzza Lethecus: so his next book will be ,,the universal religious toolbox for dummy´s ?"
[01:34] Wol Euler: there's a second talk on this on his School of Life website, 10 minutes longer but doesn't add much to the TED talk

[01:34] Wol Euler: the discipline that TED's time limit enforces seems really good for people :)
[01:35] Wol Euler: actually his current book is that :)
[01:35] Qt Core: sadly they don't inpose time limits on people watching their video ;-)
    [01:36] Wol Euler: http://www.amazon.de/Religion-Atheis...8348148&sr=1-1
    [01:36] Wol Euler: ha, true

[01:37] Wol Euler: the good thing about TED is that you don't have to interact, unlike say FB where you have to scroll the page
[01:37] Wol Euler: I listen to ted talks while at work
[01:38] Wol Euler: it sits in a browser window in the background while I draw
[01:39] Yakuzza Lethecus: then you can use the radio feature in the ted app
[01:39] Yakuzza Lethecus: it doesn´t depleed ur batterie since the video isn´t running then of course
[01:39] Qt Core: i'm almost avoiding ted untill i can come out with a five year plan about listening/watching almost all of them (obviously i've seen a few)
    [01:39] Wol Euler: heheheheh
[01:40] Yakuzza Lethecus: i can´t watch or google or listen to anything at work
[01:40] Wol Euler: you know of course that during your five years, another two years' worth will be published :)
[01:40] Qt Core: btw: nerd supremacy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w68qZ8JvBds
    [01:40] Qt Core: yes :-(
[01:42] Wol Euler nods to Yaku. We are constantly using the internet, comparing product specifications and the like, so it's easy for me to have other things running too
[01:46] Qt Core: has Zon come and crashed ?

[01:47] Wol Euler: the listener didn't see him, so he didn't come close
[01:48] Wol Euler: that was great, qt!
[01:49] Wol Euler: "and I say to myself, what a wonderful world"
    [01:49] Qt Core: :-)
[01:50] Wol Euler: you realize of course that you'd be facing a prison sentence in the US for posting htat link, had SOPA come into effect
[01:50] Qt Core: i always hear those word in Luis Amstrong voice
[01:50] Wol Euler: because I am pretty sure he doesn't have a license from the music publisher to play that tune
[01:50] Wol Euler: yeah. me too :)
[01:51] Qt Core: i probably wpuld even now woth so many other silly laws between where i made it, uploaded it, where it is stored, where it was streamed to me and where i'm, watching it too
    [01:52] Wol Euler nods.
[01:52] Qt Core: (so all the mistyping i did are quite lesser offence...)

[01:53] Wol Euler: videos like this are a great reason to love the internet. There always were genius/idiots like that guy, but nobody ever knew about them. Now we do! His version of Bohemian Rhapsody got over 2 million views :)
    [01:54] Wol Euler: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=Ht96HJ01SE4
[01:55] Qt Core: i only have an old handscanner... quite hard to do something with it ;-)
    [01:57] Wol Euler smiles.
[02:03] Qt Core: in pas days mi mind is blown away by this guy music (too many wins to choose from): http://www.youtube.com/user/rpoland/...ry=ewan+dobson
[02:04] Qt Core: (the two Time and disk errors above the others)
[02:05] Wol Euler: listening ... impressive
[02:10] Qt Core: damn just discovered i bought his two cd a couple weeks ago from USA and he just realeased his third... damn expedition expenses... ;-)
    [02:11] Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
    [02:11] Wol Euler smiles.
[02:13] Qt Core: ok, have to go (ordering that cd between other things)
    [02:14] Qt Core: have fun
    [02:14] Wol Euler: heheh
[02:14] Wol Euler: bye qt, enjoy the day
[02:14] Yakuzza Lethecus: have a good day qt
    [02:14] Qt Core: bye
[02:14] Yakuzza Lethecus: you also wol
[02:14] Wol Euler: bye yaku, take care
