Storm Nordwind: Repeat? I thought that was a few weeks ago!

Eos Amaterasu: that's what I'm referring to (sometimes Chinese and Tibetan new year's are out of sync by a month)
Storm Nordwind: I remember wishing by Chinese delivery man "Kung hai fat choy" and fortunately he understood it because that's Cantonese, and so was he. (I can't speak Mandarin!)

Eos Amaterasu: what is the water dragon's outlook for the coming year, Storm?
Storm Nordwind: Generically, you know... I have no idea. I guess beyond the label I've taken little interest. It will doubtless be the same as previously: viz. what you make it.
stevenaia Michinaga: sounds like every other year
Eos Amaterasu: I was wondering through your understanding of yourself as a water dragon (if any)
Storm Nordwind: Indeed. Or - for the more karmically inclined - it will be what you MADE it.
Storm Nordwind: It was something I studied in the 70s, though I admit that apart from seeming to fit, I found it had limited practical use for me.
Storm Nordwind: I had some friends who were keen professional esoteric astrologers... but again, I was hard pushed to find personal practical value. Others may of course find differently
Eos Amaterasu: symbol system for articulating the world?
Storm Nordwind: Well there are many of those. The Tree of Life was another such I studied around the same time.
Storm Nordwind: (That's the Kabbalah thing.)
stevenaia Michinaga: Did something eventually ring true to you?
Storm Nordwind: Many of them rang true all right, including the above. But ringing true and having practical value are different things. I found it hard to help others with these things. At the time, I took up the study and practice of spiritual healing instead.
Eos Amaterasu: re water , interesting that it is in front of us, our center

Eos Amaterasu: there is a mermaid that is the patron of Warszawa; she resides in the Visla river, which connects through the Baltic to her sister in Copenhagen

Storm Nordwind: Wonderful. I should research her. Many of these spirits are still around and contactable. I was amazed to find the old coastal protective goddess Nehalennia 

was still alive and, if not kicking, certainly able to take a gentle stroll! ;-)

Storm Nordwind: I went on a pilgrimage to visit all her old haunts. But that was when I lived in Europe. I can't see a similar visit happening again to Warsaw or Copenhagen
